Once upon a time, a group of wild ducks decided to fly south for the winter. So they flew and flew until they reached the perfect place, or so they thought. There was a pretty Rose bush to their west, a swamp to their east and a hedge to their south. However, the natives didn't take kindly to the new arrivals, and thus began a great war. After significant loss of life on both sides, the swampyrosehedge creatures agreed that they should not be xenophobic and welcome immigrants, while the ducks agreed that they should assimilate to the local culture. And thus, there was peace. At least in my mock FA server, hopefully in actual Orbis soon. Terms -> 1) White peace and 69420/666=104 day NAP between everyone. 2) An agreed list of people who have VMed/wardodged on both sides maybe hit without counters. 3) HM reveals the identity of their secret leader, and in return TKR owes them $1. 4) All parties agree that Lordship is a fine gentleman while BK recognizes Ayytheism for a month. BK further acknowledges that there is no god but the great pixel overlord Wampus. 5) Any Quack member caught using the :changeupuwu: emoji must pay Changeup $1 until he tires of charging people $1. 6) Partisan changes his pfp from snek to monke for 2 weeks. 7) Eclipse apologizes to Camelot, as they had been raiding their members constantly in past, raided their server/mass pings and adverts war. We thank all the participants in the mock FA server for participating in what was a highly enjoyable experience for me, and I hope, or rather, I can confidently state that it was fun (if a bit stressful at times) for everyone else as well. Yea he completely hijacked and derailed the peace discussions. In actual discussions something like that would never be agreed on. So congrats to him for ruining otherwise fun, lighthearted peace talks with unnecessary toxicity.

Its amazing how you can tell who proposed each term with almost no context.

Simple idea: Alliances issue in-game awards for their members by redeeming credits. For example, 1 credit to issue an award to 5 members (numbers are tentative). These awards appear next to the p&w issued awards. What do you think? Useful, unnecessary?

So this is entirely a meme project but this project should be added:

*I don't represent my alliance in this argument, only myself* So recently I've been bugged with some of the things Vacaid does. He has been going around spreading his plan to "fix" color bloc income. He is completely free to do so, as I am also completely free to disassemble his argument. Here's the main points of my argument: 1. It is essentially impossible 2. It is extremely pointless 3. He provides no actual plan on how to change things 4. Of the extremely limited details in his plan, none of them will work now allow me to go into detail of each and every one of these points (first point) This plan of his would require the cooperation of way too many people and cost way too much money to fix the tiny problem of having too low a color bloc income to be worth the extensive amount of time needed to make this project (second point) This plan has no actual point to it. He wants to create an increase in income for smaller nations such as himself so they can grow faster. The problem with this is that that's what alliance taxes are for. We already have a better system in place to grow newer nations with grant systems. The current system is also a lot less expensive than trying to increase color bloc value. This plan, if it were to somehow succeed, would have almost no effect on income compared to having a grant system. On top of that, the amount per day he seeks could easily be achieved by someone at his level if he just fixed his broken city builds. (third point) He has almost no plan on how to make this work. Of what he's told us, he's only given ideas on how to topple big alliances and nothing else. Of the huge promises he makes, he backs none of it up with any actual evidence. He tells us we don't have enough faith in him, but he hasn't ever shown any results or contributed to any alliance, meaning he doesn't deserve to have faith put into him until he actually produces results. (fourth point) His first idea is that to topple the "big alliances" all we have to do is hike up prices on the market. Hiking up prices within itself is already extremely difficult to do, and if we were to succeed in such, it would have little to no effect on big alliances. On top of that, when big alliances topple, will they not be replaced with more big alliances? It's not like they're just all gonna disappear into thin air. On top of all this, the way he chooses to handle himself when making this argument I also disagree with. He refuses to accept any sort of criticism. When he is asked questions about his plan, he simply claims that you were interrupting him. He backs none of his plan up with evidence. Then he complains about our lack of faith and that lack of data will be somehow made up for entirely with faith. He is somewhat cocky and arrogant about his plan, when he has no reason to. Once again, this is just my opinion.

yea i joined HM in the talks just for the heck of it since I didn't think it mattered but then that term popped up and HM strangely was the only bloc that had any objections. I'm not gonna speculate too much since it's just role play but kinda weird.

The HM role-players myself included tried to argue against it saying it was bs and not even the real reason they joined but alas every other bloc thought it was fine.

Dude..... come on. Don't take what I said and try to make it the next thing you hound publicly to try to get people to talk about. Peace talks will remain mostly confidential, don't start beating drums to other leaders to put it all out there in public, it won't happen. Even though I said I'd be fine with it, I'd advise against it and most other leaders would too. In fact that would probably derail peace talks more than anything else, and you're one that's been trying to facilitate getting peace done. Just drop it, please. When peace is done and the terms are made public, I'm sure there'll be plenty that could then be discussed by all.

I realise that this is a strawman that's being presented, but i'm going to waste my time responding because I have nothing else better to do. The difference between sweaty people and, say, LGBTQ people, racial minorities, or women, is that sweaty people are not often targeted for their overactive glands. LGBTQ people have often been assaulted, murdered, and raped in attacks explicitly because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. The gay panic defense and the related trans panic defense have often meant that these murderers have walked free or faced lesser sentencing. It should be clear to us in America that racial minorities have had a long history of abuse by the majority, from slavery to Jim Crow and beyond. And as for women, that had also been abundantly clear with the frequency of domestic violence, and trends of women being denied jobs due to possible pregnancies or other traits that would not affect the job. Protected classes in the American legal system are protected because they have faced (often lethal) discrimination by the majorities in power - and have needed to legally fight for their rights to equal protection under the law. As far as i'm aware, sweaty people as a class have not been the victims of systemic discrimination.

I wasn't necessarily intending to, just trying to dispel any misinformation about the ordeal. We'll have more to say about our future plans when those are further defined and ready. But I will say this, TI/TFP did inform Swamp leadership of our intentions to leave post-war a couple weeks ago - they were caught off-guard and disappointed we'd made that decision and were frustrated by our lack of transparency/communication around and since that decision, which is understandable. There's no reason to go into it further than that though. I don't have anything bad to say about Swamp and certainly wouldn't do so publicly. There's a lot of good people there and from my end, I'm happy to have worked with them and appreciate what we'd done together.

Hrmm, here's a completely off the wall / radical suggestion: how about ground control restricts opponent to using 2/3rds planes. Ya know, instead of tanks killing planes... 🤔

The protection on missiles/nukes should be much much shorter. Like one turn instead of one day.

It's really not that inconsistent if you know how damage is calculated. Dogfights have always favored the attacker, even when outnumbered. Only thing that's inconsistence is the victory type, but that's intentional rng. Anyways, I agree with what other people are saying. Airstrikes/dogfights are a joke. Look at what ground battles can do in comparison: Destroy more tanks. Destroy more planes. Costs less maps. Costs less munitions/gas. Loot from ground battles. More cost effective infra damage. Also, contrary to popular opinion, soldiers are the best unit in the game (not tanks). I don't agree with the change that made them take less damage in ground battles. They're immortal.

It's a bad idea not just for that reason but also - more importantly - because it has the potential to completely disrupt an alliance's entire econ system. If bank officers can't access the bank screen while blockaded, they can't get aid to their members. Members shouldn't suffer because of an officer being blockaded.

I participated in Isjaki's fictional experiment on how to end the Global War and I thought it was a good one. I stopped participating after the part of Swamp that I was in was no longer in Swamp, but was certainly interesting while it lasted. In the spirit of that Discord server discussion, I invite others to contribute ideas here for how to end this global war. I will start off with my own theory as to what may help. During the Discord server discussion, I brought up my belief that what may help end the war are some investigations as to people deeply involved in the initiation and continuation of this war: 1- The Quack side could question Boyce as to what evidence he had that TCW/HM/Swamp was going to attack Quack in December/January. 2- The anti Quack side could try to find out one or more of the following: a- Who Ronnie's HM leader source was. b- Find out exactly what Ronnie's HM leader's source meant when he made this statement to Ronnie and possibly others: ** Time for a chat my friends. Swamp reached out to me and told me they are talking with TCW about joining together to counter Quack's growth. They are extremely uncomfortable with the idea that allowing Quack to grow and waiting for them to magically break up is a good idea. ** c- Find out if Ronnie's HM leader source actually spoke to someone in Swamp and if they did, who, as well as their own take on what they were trying to convey.

I never said I knew what it was. I might still not. Someone I trust saw something posted on the RON server. I saw something too, but apparently by the time I looked, the actual admission had been deleted. I still got an idea as to what it was based on what may have been responses to the original post and my source confirmed my suspicion, but it's too banal to mention.

Hey Tyrion, nice to talk to you again, been a while :-p. Anyway, you are the one who said that you'd be fine with it- I didn't know that it came with the caveat that you'd advise against it. You are right that I would like to get peace going. The main issue is that while I generally agree with you on a lot of things, we may not always agree on how best to go about achieving it. Now, you have of course played this game longer than I have, but experience in this particular game is not the only metric to go by. Someone has told me that this item may have actually already been leaked, but by the time I got to responding to them, they'd logged off. Perhaps I will more from them today, we'll see. If they do tell me more, I'll make a judgement call on how to proceed. As to why I am why I am, that's a very good question. However, I'm not sure this forum would be the best place to get into that. If you like, I could tell you more about my life story in DMs, without you needing to share anything in return. On a side note, I actually had a pretty interesting conversation with Adrienne, Cooper and a few others in the Thalmorite Hangout VM in the wee hours of the morning. Was pretty interesting- if there's ever an encore, would be nice if you could be there :-). Updated: I've now spoken to my source, who says the leaked material has been deleted. However, he gave me the gist of it. If that's the item at hand, it's plain banal. Not worth talking about here.
