We start at the Royal Dragons alliance, who merged with the Mercenary of Small Nations (all of this is according to the forums) to form Solidarity of Dragons. Soon, this alliance reforms into Dragonstone. Then, they merge with United Nations of America into Atlas. Then, they merge into Bad Company. See where I'm going with this? Bad Company is a merger of the Bad Company bloc, which was comprised of Vox Populi, R&R and Rise of the Undead Mob. Frontier Records is a merger between Bad Company and Rough Riders.
