After decades of civil war, corruption and government in-ability the nation is finally reborn under a new flag, a united people. The History is long and bloodied and it will be saved for a time but as of now the important things to know are this: Three years ago a new authority within the military began to split from the central authority. This was during a time of turmoil and chaos so while the military and government where fighting each other as much as the population several prominent factions within the armed forces declared themselves the hearlds of a revolution. They helped to awake the people to the true nightmare they live in and the failure of our nation. Under their guidance the Armed forces once again reunited into one faction and crushed the political opposition in the senate and Office of the president. With Political Opposition destroyed the military began making moves to bring order to the chaos that was the Armed Republic. The streets where swell with violence as the people cried out desperate and the government coward behind walls. The government was removed from power, swiftly and quietly as if the lokairan way. The armed forces arrested the president and removed him to an unknown holding area alongside several government ministers. Several more ministers where moved by the military to replace those that they arrested and quickly began the systematic assassinations, kidnappings and sabotages of anyone loyal to the old regime. Many military officers where also quietly dissipated and charged with High Treason to the nation. The president himself was publicly executed within 52 hours of the takeover as the military announced the new Interim Reconstructive Authority. The Authority was brutal, but necessary as the streets where still swelled with violence, the nation was to be rebuilt but at a cost never seen before by the people. Three years later and on this day The Lokairan Reconstructive Authority is to finally be replaced. The time has come and the new government is ready to lead. The Republic of New Lokaira Stands once more. The Council now rules our nation as a strict militarized society based around military service and importance to the nation. In order to be considered for the council or other ministry positions you must first be a member of the armed forces and have served the nation. The council consists of 3 groups. The Low council which handles all matters of minor state affairs and acts as a supreme court to the civil population It also directly represents matters of Civil Affairs. The General Council acts as a parliament, drafting and passing legislation and laws while also eleceting members to the High council, which consists of 12 members and act as one entity. Ruling on finial decisions, Important matters of state and the future of our nation. With the Initial Elections finished and the Government in place all matters of state will be officially transferred and the Lokairan Reconstructive Authority will be formally merged back into the Armed Forces as of midnight. But is this truly to be different from our past? The New Government promises war and victory, they showcase order and loyalty, yet these are the very traits that the previous rules also fell too. This is indeed a historic moment for our people, what will the future bring? who knows but what we do know is that the past is gone and the ashes will finally settle but as they do, the war machines begins once more.

We are taking this to punitive levels never before seen: Leo and Roq are going to have to be my friends IRL. Honestly though I'm not sure punitive terms are the norm. IQ side lost in ToT and none of us received any punitive terms. Some of the knightfall terms might be described as such, but I don't consider those particularly punitive either, on the whole. Even if one wanted punitive terms, there remains the calculus of if it is worth paying the price to get them, and if you can even afford to pay that price yourself in member apathy if the enemy chooses to just drag things on forever. There have been reps and harsher terms in the past (I think BKs reps against Rose might be the largest?), but even before that there were some examples of people avoiding them, albeit at the cost of prolonged damage/income loss in the interim.

This is not Nation States. Feel free to play on that website though.

I am not even going to pretend that this suggestion is anything but blatantly self serving. I suggest that Navy should have the option to target hangers, barracks, factories and dry docks, rather than targeting just infrastructure. Similar to the airstrike, but instead of killing units you kill the improvement. So basically what I am saying is that when you have a naval strike, like with airforce, you can target hangers/barracks/factories/drydocks or infra and if immense triumphs occur and you choose one of the 4 improvements it guarantees that you destroy one of the improvements you targeted and it does half or a third of the infra damage as normal. If you target infra, its basically like running a normal naval attack right now. There really needs to be some sort of better counter to running an all plane attack plan. Also you should either lower the updeclare range, or increase the downdeclare range, its kinda shitty that i can be hit by a ton of people that I have no chance of hitting. Possibly changing the declare range from 25% down to 75% up to 33% down and 66% up (I did say it was going to be self serving)
