  1. Esteemed individuals of Orbis, It has been a very eventful month, even more so the past couple weeks. I wish to make a few announcements with regards to The Federation, its members and our involvement in past and current affairs. Firstly, WE ARE BACK. We wanted to fight alongside Nova Riata and therefore decided to merge with them. While the merger was still being completed, it became clear that Pooballs had decided to cheat diamonds into Politics and War. That has resulted in us reversing the merger and going back to our old alliance. The Federation has paid a high price for the failed merger: our entire Alliance Bank ($1.2+ billion in cash, along with resources) had already been transferred to Nova Riata and subsequently deleted along with Animal Pharm. Despite this, we are all back together and that is all that matters. Futhermore, I wish to put to record that The Federation, its government and all of its members had zero involvement in the cheating scandal and were completely unaware of what was taking place in our former allies alliance. We certainly do not condone cheating Thirdly, The Great Sock War (though Nova is ded) has still been going on. We acknowledge that Pantheon annoyingly and with great courage fought on. Thus, The Federation hereby surrenders according to the following terms: We grant rawr three ice-creams of any flavour that she may so wish. Thanks for the enjoyable and professional war AND ALSO FOR RUINING THE HOURS I SPENT MAKING PANTH SHITPOSTS, but thanks anyway. Moreover, The Federation has New Protectors! Frontier Records and The Fighting Pacifists both have, in a swift manner, accepted our plea for help. Cheers guys! We look forward to building up relations and working constructively with your governments. Consequently, as a result of the Great Sock War it has been decided by the leaders of Pantheon and The Federation that the pursuit of stronger relations and even a treaty has been deemed appropriate. The Federation and Pantheon hereby agree to the following terms: Mutual Defence The Federation and Pantheon hereby agree to a military-oriented treaty that assures parties that they will defend each other from foreign conflicts as well as having a non-mandatory option to support each other in wars of aggression. Sovereignty The Federation and Pantheon recognise each other's sovereignty as independent alliances that are stronk. Intelligence The Federation and Pantheon pledge in the interest of optimal defence for both alliances to share pertinent intelligence when it would benefit mutual defence aims and to not share intelligence detrimental to the other. Don’t dibby dob. Trade The Federation shall hereby export sufficient quantities of ice cream for the utilisation of rawr whilst Pantheon shall hereby export memes in memeful quantities. Matching Socks The Federation and Pantheon mutually agree to not steal each others socks. NEVER! Cancellation The Federation and Pantheon pledge that if either wishes to cancel, 168 hour notice shall be given to the other party. Additionally, because of the actions of the Nova Riata government it has become apparent that KETOG acknowledges The Federation as a belligerent against them. Despite being halfway through merging, this was something that the TF side of government had zero say in. I wish to formally declare, according to the terms presented to me by Buorhann, that The Federation hereby surrenders to KETOG. We agree: To allow all existing wars to be finished. To seize any further declarations by members. To allow no ghosting by our members. To not accommodate any war dodgers. I wish to thank all TF members and gov for sticking through. A bright future lays ahead. Have a good day everyone. Tl;dr The Federation is back!!!

  2. You’ve got to be kidding me. Pantheon has to be the luckiest AA that has ever been or ever will be. First escaping death due to someone cheating the system. Then being thrown a lifeline by a micro who not only has little idea on what they’re doing but was also just at war with them. This situation indirectly gives them (Pantheon) protection through the derpiest bloc of alliances in the game. Wow. Just wow.

  3. That's the thing though, you can't end Pantheon. They're part of the fabric of game reality at this point, the PnW cockroach. Just have to recognize that, we all work for Pantheon now.

  4. Firstly, I’d like to say we are looking forward to working with our new friends in The Federation. And Kev, to which derpy bloc are you referring? The only thing I’ve seen this morning that is derpy, is them war stats. You silly guy.

  5. The Federation are nice people. Kosta’s an extremely pleasant fella. However, the biggest takeaway in this thread isn’t TF getting protection - they chose the appropriate protector for their situation. The biggest takeaway is TC essentially protecting Pantheon.

  7. Over time there has been several occasions the idea of adding space based projects or improvements and so on to the game. Sheepy stated he wanted to add somewhere around a dozen projects to the game so this is an attempt to add what others have pitched to the game to what Sheepy is currently looking to add. Mind you This project is more of a gateway project to the other projects. There are 3 projects that may be rolled out with this project, with more possible down the road which is why this project does little by itself and is a gateway project. Space Program Cost: Cash: $40,000,000 Uranium: 20,000 Oil: 20,000 Iron: 10,000 Gasoline: 5,000 Steel: 1,000 Aluminum: 1,000 Effect: Grants access to space based projects Additional Effect: Increases income per turn by $100,000 (1.2M per day)

  15. Spy Satellite Requirements: Space Program, Intelligence Agency Cost: Cash: $20,000,000 Uranium: 20,000 Oil: 20,000 Munitions: 10,000 Lead: 10,000 Iron: 10,000 Bauxite: 10,000 Gasoline: 5,000 Effect: Allows the purchase of an addition spy each day. Increases spy attack effectiveness by 50% (if you would kill 100 planes, you kill 150). Spy attacks against you are 15% more likely be detected (not thwarted) [Stacks with Arcane war policy if that war policy impacts this]. Reduces costs of spy operations by 20% Additional Effect: Gives an addition spy attack each day that can be used for only gathering intel.

  16. So, if I interpret this correctly, if a New Pacific Order anarchist assassinates a member of the Austro-Hungarian Royal Family, then Frontier Records is required to declare war on the Ottoman Empire?
    2 points
  17. That would be an idea of something to build off of the military satellite sort of thing. Requires that project to build a satellite to tweak control percentages or something.

  18. Might wanna let BK know this for next time you're afraid to deal with your own problems.

  19. So, Pantheon and The Federation now have a Mutual Defense Pact apparently. The Federation is a Protectorate of Frontier Records now. Frontier Records has a Mutual Defense )ptional Aggression Pact with The Commonwealth, meaning Pantheon is now distantly linked to their old buddies, The Commonwealth, via the chain of treaties between alliances. But wait, there's more! The Commonwealth has a Mutual Defense Pact with The Black Knights, meaning Pantheon is distantly linked to The Black Knights. But wait! It gets even better! As I said, Pantheon is distantly linked with The Commonwealth, and do you all know who The Commonwealth is linked to? The Commonwealth has a PIAT (Peace, Intelligence, and Aid Treaty) with Dark Brotherhood, who happens to be a Protectorate of a certain New Pacific Order, meaning Pantheon is distantly linked with New Pacific Order, who just so happens to have a Mutual Defense Optional Aggression Pact with the old friends of Pantheon, The Syndicate. Pantheon having a Mutual Defense Pact with The Federation links Pantheon into a chain of treaties that contains New Pacific Order (The #1 Alliance), Black Knights (The #2 Alliance), The Commonwealth (The #3 Alliance), Frontier Records (The #12 Alliance), Dark Brotherhood (The #15 Alliance)! Does any of this matter? Absolutely not! You posted that, and literally seconds later, I mention it. Lmao

  22. These are ridiculous, let me enlighten you on the SRD mode of alliance leadership. 1. Play this game and others like it for years. 2. Start an alliance of only active older players that have also been playing for years. 3. Make sure they all know what they are doing. 4. Make allies with other active alliances. 4. Sit back and relax you are done. Your alliance will now run itself.

  26. Actually, it was Nova Riata that made TF disband, when NR wanted to stuff TF into Chaos's nominal war stats. They demerged when NR died, and about 76% of the pre-war members remain.

  29. I think the real takeaway from those stats should be that Soup fights wars, and FR signs treaties. But hey, welcome back to the treaty web, Pantheon. May its bosom keep you warm.

  30. Congrats, you just summarized how Arrgh plays the game Hegemony implies continued control. It wasn't that long ago that TKR was called the hegemony because of their inflated score. Para-Cov was called a hegemony at one point because of their nation count. Syndisphere was called the hegemony because of their collective wins and activity. IQ was the hegemony because of their collective score. A hegemony is something that an alliance or group imposes upon the world that seems like it'll never be broken. Not whoever is currently the highest score or most treaties.

  32. 1. Get a handful of people who have similar styles of gameplay/goals in the game who are also active. Start a group and have realistic expectations of growth. If the core groups activity fades, or interest drops too low, merge into another alliance and try to get yourself some sort of gov position in that established alliance you merged into. After that work your way up to a major leadership figure in the alliance, once that start to shape the alliance into what you wanted your original alliance to be and turn this new alliance into the one you actually wanted. You might lose some members when this happens, but you'll be better off than your original failing alliance was. You can also then merge again and repeat this process til you're at a size/place you like. After that don't rest upon your laurels, else some other upcoming leader might undermine your authority like you did to the previous leaders. 2. Or just do what makes you happy, and if people follow you for it great. All that matters is you're having fun doing what you're doing.

  40. The project is optional. If food is really expensive, people aren't going to buy food to build the project anyway. I concur that the increase in prices is due to radiation effects. This is a great point as well; the city age bonus change increased city population considerably for most players. This in turn is an increase in demand for food as it takes more to feed the increased population.

  42. It has come to my attention that an NPO protectorate has thrown in their lot with KETO(G^2). Classic, heavy-handed third-party interventionist policies from the Pacificans or a treaty partner that they can't control? When can we expect the rest of Goon Squad to hop on the bandwagon? Is NPO coming to play as well? Does KETO(G^2) condone this practice of camping out in a third-party alliance while building military? Did they request help from NPO against the valiant forces of Chaos? Orbis demands answers!

  43. there is 713m food in circulation, already far too much, the prices are dictated by the users being willing to release their stock piles. There is also a war going on that has stopped production on some continents. If you want the new wonders, and don't have a stockpile, you'll pay a premium until the early adopters are done.
