  1. No, you're not. AK is relying on other's protections just to exist. You're not strong at all. You're pretty much Vanguard tier at this moment.

  4. While on a Afrikan Safari, a traveling Ayylien came across a local villager from the village of Afrika Korps. After befriending many of the other villagers, it was hard for the Ayylien to return to his home planet of the Black Knights, so he bestowed the gift of paper upon them before continuing his journey home. Article 1: Poachers are not okayy In the event that poachers cross into Afrika Korps land, the Black Knight’s Ayylien will return with many friends to destroy the poachers, unless the villagers accidentally invited the evil poachers. The Ayyliens have their own anti-poaching defenses so the villagers are not obligated to assist the Black Knights if poachers cross into their lands. Article 2: The Ayyliens always know Afrika Korps agrees to send any intel pertaining to the security of the Black Knights and/or its allies to the Black Knights immediately. Additionally, the Black Knights will not withhold any information that will directly impact the security of Afrika Korps. Article 3: Payyper is not always good Afrika Korps understand the importance of the gift of paper; therefore, they agree to make sure the Ayyliens are ok with creating more paper if they so choose to do so. Article 4: The Princess Afrika Korps hereby agrees to always recognize Gorge as the only and true princess of “The Golden Horde” and “Bad Company” and will always call him by his title “Princess Gorge” Article 5: Lost Contact If either party wishes to burn the gift of paper in order to start a fire, they may do so by notifying the other with a 71.87 hour notice. For BK: Thanos - Emperor Tiber and Taco - Viceroys Amaryllis - Archduchess of Foreign Affairs Starlight Glimmer - Archduke of Internal Affairs Curufinwe - Archduke of Defense Gorge - Archduke of Economics xStrykax - Archduke of Communications DVDCCHN - Archduke of EDO For AK: Kriegsherr ? Don Generaloberst ? Skae Oberst of FA ? Velium Oberst of IA ? ☭ Comrade Deus Vult ✠ Oberst of MA ? Black Knight of Ages Oberst of Propaganda ? Duceless Siberia Any and all questions and concerns should be directed in the comments section. Those who say Ayy Lmao in their comments will have top priority.

  9. You realise you're actually harming your alliances FA reputation when you make low-brow insults against sphere leaders. Plenty of people who've made a fool out of themselves on the OWF have never been able to recover from the damage to their rep from that. You'll find the majority of people who voice their opinions aren't this "on-dimensional hive mind" that you and others seem to think is out to get people. I've had times when my posts have been upvoted by IQ, EMC, Vanguard, t$, Arrgh, KT/TGH etc, and times when people have down-voted them. People of course have different views but if you actually post something that's funny, gives people some insight into the wider politics or just helps the discussion advance people will take notice of your impact on the forum. If you post ill thought out rubbish that doesn't contribute to the discussion, is completely off-topic or on the odd-rare occasion do so out of spite then you will get downvotes. Yes the forums can be a volatile places from time to time but that's what makes the politics of the game the most enjoyable, with the clash of agendas, goals, conflicts personalities etc. You're correct that not everyone uses the forums, but the vast majority of the player-base don't dictate or direct the flow of foreign policy between alliances. You'll find around 100 or so influential people (With an even smaller amount of very influential people) on this community who are the real cogs behind the politicking between the power blocs, the OWF is just one place where this takes place. Just because someone doesn't post doesn't mean they don't stay engaged, I read the forums regularly without posting for over a year, and I know many many others who read OWF announcements, treaty signings etc but just refrain from posting. Despite being in TKR's sphere for over 2 1/2 years I quite like KT/TGH, our war we fought made me respect the hell out of them and I have built up many friends from both KT/TGH. TGH deserve mad props for creating a top tier alliance in less than one month that never gave up in the lop-sided war they fought against us. They actually put a lot more thought into their up/down votes than you think and influence wise they certainly punch well above their weight in global politics in this game.

  10. I've already elaborated why openly declaring war on pirates is a stupid thing to do, and something that people roll their eyes over in the DoW thread. If you are unable to properly understand that, in spite of the extensive explanation provided by several people who're more knowledgeable than you in the subject in particular, and the game in general, then that's on you, not me or anyone else. You're also the only person who's foolish enough to think that hitting by-large ZM'd nations that can be countered with half-decent activity and standing military, is more important than joining a global, which was both more interesting and challenging than hitting pirates. ''We did something dumb which annoyed our original protector, so let's go sign the one alliance that they nearly ended up warring over some protectorate drama.'' By the nature of the treaty itself, protectorates relinquish most if not all of their FA capabilities and let their protectors cover those in their stead. What this means is, if they do something dumb FA wise, it's the protector that has to sort it out for them. There's also the fact that rather than trying to stand on their own two feet, they just ran to someone else to cover them up, which should be a dead giveaway that they aren't worth signing to begin with because they aren't dependable, choosing to let others deal with the consequences of their actions, rather than man up themselves. Oh, and congrats on disregarding most of my post outright, rather than trying to formulate a response, even if it took some research to do so.

  12. 3 paths: 1. AK really does want BK and will eventually choose them as they cannot serve 2 masters. Makes sense considering tS has been reigning them in as seen recently against Arrgh. 2. AK is there as a deepseated mole/will be a piece to play in the upcoming IQ vs tS powerstruggle. 3. AK is really just looking for help since they've managed to piss people off. Shifty banking on the 1st, maybe 2nd. 3rd is just the easiest to imagine.

  13. Relax BK is getting more and more prots so they can finally hold the great Burger King Hunger Games. Rules are: 1) All prots of BK will fight each other. 2) Losers will need to merge into the winning prot. 3) Winner gets to merge into BK. 4) Biel gets new city.

  14. Having two protectors is pathetic. Having two from different spheres sounds like crafting a VG style copout of a conflict we know is coming. I'd agree with Buor here, but i don't. He doesn't go far enough. You're just pixel-hugging cowards, honestly. Hope you actually get rolled for it too.

  16. I’m a bit confused by this - as if this is for me or The Island, you didn’t mention anything like this during our talks and path to “fun” peace terms. It would seem as though you’re looking to continue to stir the pot after we agreed to peace, followed through with the terms....minus the butter-knife because that hold up is on your part, there is still no P.O. Box information & we were told there wouldn’t be delay. As far as deleted threads, I’ve never personally asked for threads to be deleted nor have I deleted threads through moderation - id go on to assume that that is false on your part. If you want me to say that I’ve said GoG is trash and that you’re shit - sure, I’ve said it and you’ve heard it. That was my opinion of GoG led by You, seeker. To go on to say that our denouncement of you and your alliance led to profit in our side... haha well, not sure what we profited from that. Maybe you know better than me. Verbage is verbage and opinions are opinions. I’m quite sure every single person in this game has opinions on the alliances around them, they’ve been a part of, or come into the lime light. Choosing to hit an alliance because you don’t like them is fine and dandy. Your declaration of war from a non-gov member and the subsequent alliance representation within that thread PLUS the duty you bestowed upon that member to write up these mediocre peace terms, which were intended to be fun, funny, and joyful as a mark on our history to put shit behind us - which we discussed on discord - is what causes me and other people to formulate the previously stated opinions. Like I said before - I look forward to the future. I was genuine about putting things in the past. Obviously, that only works if everyone agrees on that. I did enjoy our conversations, but being that they don’t seem to be genuine nor do they feel now that you were serious about moving forward, I’d say we just go separate ways. Merry Christmas seeker. Edit: Seeker said he was drunk last night.

  18. TGH launched on February, without allies or protectors, and joined a global war where both sides were fairly even roughly three weeks after. Then we signed KT and both of us fought off TKR and friends, month and a half after said global ( and in spite of obvious disadvantages for us), for two months and some extra days in change. Empi and Obv came afterwards. AK launched on June, and so far, unless I'm missing something, all it has done is join a global which is heavily on their favor four months after their inception, declare war on pirates, and when they found themselves in mildly hot water, ran off to another AA to protect them (likely annoying their original protectors in the process). Your counter argument falls flat because you failed to acknowledge (either due to ignorance or indifference) the track record of both alliances, and their actions in easy and (relatively or otherwise) hard times. You failing to read up on some basic FA story is why people end up downvoting your posts. It isn't because of a circlejerk; it is simply because you're speaking out of your ass and posing as if you were knowledgeable enough to provide any meaningful insight on the subjects you're trying to opine on. Thank you for basically confirming what I said on my 3rd paragraph.

  23. A short invitation would be sent to every national government that existed, with funds set aside for future nations to receive a similar welcoming gift. A small 5 story office building in Palma on the island of Mallorca, the largest of the three off the coast of Spain within the Mediterranean, would serve as a temporary headquarters for the hypothetical organization.

  40. Did we reach the longest global war record yet? 54 days, I keep on going through records on Wiki but we seem to have passed the Trial of Tiers in length. DDR (68 days, counting full days) has yet to be reached. Steve's War is still 11 days to go. So we should have exceeded all other global wars in length, with just two side wars (needs to reach December 27th) in front of us.

  41. I don't need anything too crazy here, just looking for suggestions for a potential events system. These would be random happenings that could affect your nation, a region (continent), or the world. Some possibilities are: Earthquake Volcanic Eruption Sinkhole Tsunami Wildfire Drought Alien Invasion Zombie Apocalypse Celebrity Kidnapping These are just a few ideas off the top of my head. Obviously any/all natural disasters are a go-to, and you're free to post those, just try not to get too repetitive with what others have posted. Lastly, they don't have to be "real" (as in my Zombie Apocalypse idea) but don't get too silly with these things. A Zombie Apocalypse event would probably be a Halloween type thing, as a sort of holiday themed joke/fun event, etc. Eventually I'd like to create the engine for events to operate on, and browse through this topic and pick through all of your ideas to make as events! The effects (good or bad) will be decided later, so just try to come up with event ideas. Have at it!
