  1. Black Knights has disbanded. Congratulations to our former members who are departing PW and best of luck to those who choose to remain.

  2. You made multiple statements regarding "destroying the game" right around the same time that a group of players posted malicious and libelous reviews. You've also stated you're leaving the game anyway. Why would you want to be unbanned?

  4. It speaks so much to your character that you couldn't just once in your time here suck it up and not be a bitter frickhead. BK deserved a thread where we could look past you and your tantrums as an individual. One line and two sentences for one of the most storied alliances of this game. They deserved better than you. 7. 1 person. Literally 1 person had posted anything close to a recruitment message by the time you posted this. Come on epi. That's confirmation bias. Can we not? Yes and no. I'm definitely bummed to see the rank and file in bk duped by this., and to see them leave. I hold no sympathies for Leo however, nor for any gov which was in the know of the "upper level" ongoings of the war. They tacidly approved of cheating, rejoiced about our members deleting and sought to destroy our communities. They pushed a war on orbis over their petty grudges and then made a concerted effort to make it as toxic and crappy as possible. Sad to see you go bk. Sod off bk gov.

  8. And to think that your most significant accomplishment will be how efficiently you gutted your own alliance after failing to destroy all of our communities. Good riddance, Leo, and my best wishes to the remnants of BK.

  9. If you want to read this comic you have to set your nation in a very special way, buy one land in your first city and then delete one land in the same city, if you do this I will tell you the secret way to open the picture in another tab and zoom so you can read it

  10. Yeah real heartless, almost as bad as negotiating to end an endless war in bad faith, planning to force your enemies to disband, and breaking international copyright law as well as game rules in order to try to accomplish these goals. Good thing they won’t ever reach that level though.

  11. Request denied. The people you are deciding to go out with have, among other things: - Ran a massive cheating "human bot" farm to sustain their war effort unfairly - Generated a toxic atmosphere where they sought to disband alliances and force people from the game - Intentionally persecuted a lengthy war and dragged out negotiations more or less indefinitely, causing many to quit the game - When finally called to task for cheating, threatened to destroy the entire game on their way out - Had their leadership call on rank-and-file members to delete their nations in mass numbers - Attacked the game apps on Apple and Google Play with false accusations of pedophilia in order to get these apps taken down - Doxed Alex and his family And the list goes on, and will go on. Even though I only actually replied to you and ODN once, let me make this clear, you have no moral standing by your mere association with these parties. Any who stand by the long list of actions being engaged in here, is, by this point, a morally bankrupt individual, and so, no, I will not spare you from my vitriol. You are supporting people who are openly attempting to destroy the game and who are now personally targeting the game administrator and his family. I get it, losing this way is bitter. It's sudden, it's bitter, it isn't fun. I don't like winning this way, either. But you will need to very strongly consider these circumstances from a rational viewpoint. But we're probably past that point, if you read Alex's entire 29 page report and still think that what NPO did was okay from any perspective beyond "I was personally benefiting from it."

  13. This is a message from the hospital known as aNiMaLz. I am Leonard J. Crabs Esq., AKA KrisWolfe, AKA the best Wolfe in Orbis, AKA The Wolfe of Orbis Street. If anyone is not in the know, I am the Lard Commandante of Green Protection Agency, AKA the Economic Director, AKA the Overlord of the Breadline, AKA the Communist Dictator of who gets their needs filled. I am here to speak on behalf of the Green Protection Agency today. This is a declaration of bankruptcy. While a lawyer and a CPA in real life, I unfortunately forgot to carry some 1’s in my calculations. These things happen, I am only human, don’t sue me (HAHA). I should’ve used Excel spreadsheet, I apologize, but I had a bunch of napkins that I never use and apparently napkin math is used for extremely important decisions around these parts. I first discovered the problem after I had taken out massive loans and somehow the money went DOWN the next week. It was very troubling. I asked my friend Blutarch to take a look but he, “finger quotes” said that capitalism is the death of the poor. Even though we had received a bunch of funds, somehow we were in the red, after all our ill-gotten gains, our raid gains, our passive income, all the baseball gains, and our gym gains. With a heavy heart, I, personally, and corporately, and communistically, speak for aNiMaLz and for Green Protection Agency, when I declare bankruptcy and default on the following loans: tCW / Sphinx: $7,000,000,000 Rose: $5,000,000,000 Syndicate: $3,000,000,000 Afrika Korps: $600,000,000 Some dude named Parrish: $125,000,000 We also realized that, unfortunately, the receiving of BK’s and GoG’s bank and debt forced upon us by opposing force (everyone), we believe this is in violation of white peace since we had received reps and not nothing, and therefore they are in violation of white peace. *Puts up feet on worn wood desk in front of him, pulls out a $5 cigar from 7-Eleven and lights it* Now I know you have a bunch of questions, so I will answer a few before I kick you all out of my apartment office. You, from the back, the hot lady in the red dress. “Uh, yes. So, let me get this straight. You took out a bunch of loans and then declared bankruptcy. Isn’t that called stealing?” -Oh, no, no, no. This is called Capitalism and the Free Market. Next question. The doofus with the glasses. “You can’t just say you’re filing bankruptcy” -I didn’t say it, I declared it. Aight, short stubby bald dude in the back. “Wait, how does this violate the white peace again?” -Doesn’t matter, I never recognized any of you as having the brain capacity to be diplomats anyways. CBs are stupid. Last question, tall scruffy fella in the front. Aren’t you afraid of getting cease and desist letters from these banks you’ve scammed? -HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *wheeze* *Waves off all new questions, pours gasoline on the desk and floor as gasps erupt from the journalists. Lights desk on fire with cigar* Let’s get this party started. We stand with NPO and all of our allies. /Signed/ KrisWolfe, Lard Commandante of Green Protection Agency Dancemasterlee, fartman and prophet of neutrality Archibald, Newbie Wrangler, Fire Starter, Fire Extinguisher, and Sleepy Boy Penultimo, Second in Command to the mighty and magnificent El Presidente! 14. I guess I should be the one to bring up how features of this game have been nerfed more than once in direct response to t$ mastering certain aspects of game play (though always well within the rules). The best example of this being Treasure Island And TI/treasure bonuses should have been nerfed, even though it being nerfed was hugely damaging to t$'s profit potential (we would have reached a level of such immense wealth that it would have been preposterous). Sometimes you just gotta accept when something is good for the game, even if it isn't good personally for you or your alliance. The same thought was in mind when t$ went paperless and left the 'hegemony' that centered around us, because we thought if we continued, the game's politics would become stale and stifled. And that would be boring. And games aren't meant to be boring.

  16. I would urge the community to not remember BK as the combative forum presence of Leo/Mad Titan. Instead remember the glory days of Shifty's ministry of propaganda, photoshopped treaty signatures, Ayy Lmao, Ayyliens, the Obsidian Order, Curbstomping UPN/Rose/Acadia repeatedly even though they always "blitzed" first, Stratton Oakmont, Yosonet, the list could go on... BK has been around longer than most, it's sad to see the alliance officially disband. It was the first place I was a member of when I joined PnW and it was a great time while I was there. Special shout out to the greats who may or may not still be in the alliance as it breathes its last: @Curufinwe you were always genuinely intelligent and though our opinions have differed since you became Emperor/retired from Emp, I will always fondly remember you as one of the great Foreign Affairs minds in PnW. @LordStrum you were perhaps the most inactive Emperor I'd ever experienced under any alliance gov, but you had class and a sexy voice. BK flourished under your benign neglect, and was likely the last "Golden Age" before the descent began. @Yosodog You'll always be the true leader of BK to me. You were a great dude, fun to chat with, and you created some fantastic software for alliance organization. You brought BK from 2000's spreadsheets into 2020 workflow and you deserve all the love. @丂ħ̧i̧₣ɫ̵γ͘ ̶™ I had to copy/paste your forum name into a notepad and back to the forums to actually ping you and I hate you for that. You brought about some of the best and most iconic propaganda/photoshop works in all of PnW. @Psweet Stratton Oakmont and your internal BK bank was one of the first banks in PnW, you set the standard for how private banks should operate and ran it with expertise and professionalism. SO was instrumental in the early days of my nation in growing and flourishing while maintaining BK's MMR. @Tiber @Zoot @Taco and countless others who deserve special mention, you all rock but I'm running out of time to type. One last Ayy Lmao for the road.

  18. Actually, it is black and white. You guys were trading real world goods for in-game goods. That is against the rules and always has been. So you were cheating and got caught and are now trying to do damage control but no one is buying it so you might stop wasting everyone's time and just give it up.

  23. Before it was even being officially investigated there’s logs of the ones in charge talking about not letting it get out about what they’re doing. There were forum posts about how GPWC was going to be isolated from the community because it was toxic, but also because they were just predominantly farmers there for a comic, which that needed to be kept secret. They also inform their farmers not to talk about what they were doing. This was all prior to the admin investigation, after which evidence was attempted to be hidden/destroyed. You can attempt to make the case that there were were additional reasons besides knowing it was wrong, but knowing it was wrong was still a reason.

Spend time with parents, call some friends and catch up. but just stop being here for a couple days. Go do something productive in your free time for a few days. if anyone is in NA and wants to play LoL, hmu. Let’s duo or something.

  27. It's rather disappointing to see just how many of the posts here are little more than spitefully-worded jibes written to get just one last word in. A significant portion of the people in this game who you've fought against, or disagreed with our just simply disliked is now gone. You did it. You've won. There's nothing to be lost by being the least bit gracious about it. I'm not Noctis' biggest fan but I can see that he gets it better than a lot of you here. I haven't really found myself caring that much about the inter-alliance politics here and had almost zero personal interaction with BK, but I wish them well and I hope that even if I'd been on the other side I'd be saying the same. There are plenty of examples of less-than-pleasant behavior in this game from people on all sides, so if you'd rather default to "Yes but what about... then you may do so to your heart's content, but I have little interest. I'm only interested in the individual, and my request to each individual is that if you're going to be the predominant face of the community from here on, spare a thought for how you appear to others. I won't trouble you any longer. Best of luck to everyone in BK.

  28. For the record before I continue. In my time knowing you, I have not ever liked you Leo, and I doubt that would have changed if you stayed. But I do hope, may BK's name rest peacefully as you all move on to a new game. Good luck and have fun to all the ayyliens moving on. Y'all were a good group for the most part.

  29. Well Leo, I told Curu that you guys had sold your soul to the devil and I guess now it's time to pay the butchers bill. It's just too bad you had to take a proud and active alliance with you. While I wish you well in RL, I won't miss your massive douchebagery in the game.

  30. Maelstrom, I must say, you are the closest thing to a voice of reason from within NPO. Please take that as a compliment, I am bad at giving those. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the mostly trolling and threatening to destroy the game I've seen from your comrades. I would like to put forth, that the rules were absolutely clear. The rules did NOT specify that the transaction had to be for something of monetary value for it to be illegal. Please allow me to quote the relevant rules section as it appears this very moment (slimmed down to only the parts that are relevant): ...it is against the rules for players to make exchanges of real-life money or goods for in-game materials, including but not limited to: in-game money, and in-game resources. Examples of this type of behavior would include: sending someone real-life money for in-game money or in-game resources, purchasing someone a Steam game for in-game money or in-game resources, sending someone a gift-card for in-game money or in-game resources, and any other sort of real-world trade for in-game goods. Bold for emphasis. The translated comics, while not of financial value, were nonetheless a "real life good" in the sense that it was not within the confines of the game. GPWC existed primarily to get people, who were interested in gaining access to this "real life good" but were NOT actually interested in playing PnW, to sign up for PnW to become resource farms for the benefit of NPO. This was outlined clear as day in the evidence packet, with access to the comic restricted for "farmers" who fell out of compliance in PnW. I fully understand if this is not the easiest thing to swallow, as your comrades, people you have close personal relationships with over the course of many years, are guilty of this. I expect that it will be hard to accept. But this is the truth, and it is an unequivocal truth. The rules were crystal clear on this. For Alex's part, I do struggle to accept the argument that "nobody came to me for 5 months..." I struggle with that, but that doesn't make it his fault that NPO broke the rules, which were clear, but rather that he failed to enforce them for such a long period of time (and I do think he apologized for this, adequately enough for my needs at least). But that doesn't shift blame for the actual rule breaking, or mean that a rule wasn't broken just because it hadn't been enforced (after Alex was lied to about what was going on, btw), and I have to say, he gave NPO a very generous opportunity to fess up and walk away with less consequences, but their response was to try to hide and deny the operation. As if they were aware it wasn't actually in-line with the rules. You come off as reasonable here, Mael, and I am sorry, truly, that you have had to see all your friends reap these consequences. And I don't think that is an easy thing to deal with. It can't be. But the rules absolutely were clear.

  32. Imagine being so innocent that in order to prove your innocence, instead of providing proof, you slander a game and it’s creator with false accusations of pedophilia and share the private information of people against their will. Man, that type of behavior SCREAMS innocence.

  40. He didn't "give the go ahead," he was shooting from the hip and was tossed a hypothetical that was very far from fleshed out. While I hope Alex has learned that, in his role, he cannot shoot from the hip like that, NPO took that tiny snippet as law and ran with it. More importantly, when confronted to tell the full story 5 months later, NPO tried to obfuscate and hide. I'm sorry, but the facts are the facts. I am about three quarters through that log so far and it's clear NPO gov is just lying and spinning in it. I think you are mixing up intentional obfuscation and lies with "they were just talking past each other." It is extremely clear that people not interested in PnW were farming resources in exchange for external goods (the translated "novel"/"comic") and that this was ongoing to the date that the hammer was dropped. NPO gov were banned for their efforts to obfuscate and lie about the situation more than the mere situation itself. NPO flew too close to the sun this time, and Alex STILL gave them a chance to just goddamn admit it. I'm sorry, but the rules are crystal clear, and they should have been forthright when asked. We would have won this war with a couple months of attrition, we didn't need nor want this, but it is NPO who decided to cheat, who left Alex with no choice. Our "victory" is pretty damn hollow right now when we were well on our way to winning this thing legitimately. Alex shouldn't have spoken loosely to a hypothetical. Alex should have dealt with this 5 months ago. But NPO cheated and lied to Alex about it.

  42. We didn't cheat. Alex elected to change the interpretation of the rules because he didn't realize the scale by which non-monetary transactions may propagate. He could have more clearly defined the rules, been more precise on flat out banning all transactions that didn't go to his wallet, but he didn't. I've seen all the evidence. I consider myself to be relatively unbiased because though I belong to NPO, I also care for a fair battlefield, and I can tell you right now. Alex is at Fault. So is the NPO. Problem is only one side bears any form of punishment. This is my view on the matter and all I will say any further on it. This was handled poorly all around. Rarely is the truth black and white. When egos prevail, no one wins. How a professional would have handled this: 1. Updated and clarified the rules in a manner that could not be mistaken or otherwise interpreted. 2. Acknowledgement of fault by both parties. A mature conversation about how to re-balance the game in light of the correction. 3. No bans, but definitely modifications to assets to reflect consensus. 4. Elimination of non-active actors over time by their own inactivity. New standards of activity. 5. Proceed on revised rules. I say this in light that I have assisted with developing and moderating a game of a similar design. I have seen these same occurrences as a completely third party in other gaming worlds. Those worlds died for the same reasons that I am seeing starting to come to light here and which Alex, CAN.. avoid. But that world died due to the administrator of it failing to care for it or sustaining it any longer. Issues like this one, which required difficult choices, were allowed to go unresolved or with improper solutions. P&W was/is a little fun.. so I hope for those who enjoy it he can come up with a fix that's more suitable. One thing I must say, is you have to give credit to those whom the rest of you who opposed in the NPO perceived as being cheaters. I had no direct involvement in the mechanisms by which the game interaction for art assets come to light, but there was a lot of work by those individuals to fabricate/translate that art, create that server, organize it in such a manner that the Order and its friends may thrive here. You could say that group was playing the game on a whole-other-level. And it believed itself okay to do so. Believed it benefited the game by drawing in new people as well. If the damage is deemed to enormous by all involved there's always Order 66. 66. Reset it all and start from scratch, renew the madness with a new round under the newly clarified rules. Problem with order 66, people have invested in assets in this game that would be lost, so likely not an option, which makes for a much stickier situation.

Intentionally drag out war in a effort to eliminate opponents from the game. Step 3: Threaten allies with destruction after they complain about how insane the war is Step 4: Allies actually start turning on you and switching sides Step 5: Lure in weeaboos with manga to farm them in-game in a desperate attempt to sustain the war effort ????
