The United Group of Oranges (not to be confused with The Group of Oranges) is an alliance led by CitrusK. The UGO is a peaceful group of (three) nations that farm silently and happily reap their pixels. Unfortunately, that all changed when the fire nation the mob found out about our peaceful lifestyle. They brought guns, ignored the existence of two of our members (my two multis), and tried (and failed) to force meth-laced chicken down my throat. It was despicable and is why I’m leaving a 1 star review on Yelp. As you can see, they engaged in a rather offensive and entirely unprovoked attack against our farming nations. We were happily farming the hardest resource that we could mine… Uranium until they interrupted us. They called me out for multis and tried to hit all of my multis. Very sad. They failed. Fortunately, they brought forth a meal better than any of the absolutely abysmal chicken they could offer… Military. The mob bosses Tugger and Dusty each provided a hearty meal for us to eat, but unfortunately they ran out. Their managers, Danny, Leo, and Chris also couldn’t keep up with our pixel hugging and farming. TL;DR Their chicken sucked. 1 star. But at least they’re not the Purple nation freaks. The followers of the Almighty Serpen, the all-powerful God, the ever-shining constellation. From the fangs of the cosmic God came the Primal Venom to light, which gave almost infinite power and was gifted to the tribe of VooDoo to help Serpen expand its power. Vice, the tribe leader who uses this power to slowly misguide explorer after explorer to the Serpen constellation, turning them into undead cursed astronauts forced to serve the great Serpen and expand its influence and reach. One after another, VooDoo casted spells forcing open cracks and guiding lost explorers to the constellation. First ToxicPepper, then Yzard, then SlyWolf. The new cursed undead were then sent out to return the leader of Aurora himself to the constellation. Using Vice’s VooDoo powers and the newly cursed explorers, the mind of the first explorer was filled with confusion. Kan had been cursed with cosmic knowledge, the explorer saw Maia, Sirius and Rand - the previous leaders of Aurora, faintly calling him in "Kan, Kan, Kan". The first explorer feels a great power leading him to the constellation. The spell cast by Vice working to its full effect. Upon arrival the first explorer faces the almighty Serpen who curses the first explorer to be leader of the undead cursed spacemen, to lead the followers of Serpen alongside Vice who was granted leadership for helping the almighty god and guiding Kan. Together, one by one, they guide all Aurorians worthy of the almighty Serpen to its constellation. There they become the undead, the endless, the followers of Serpen. Beware treading close to Serpens lair, for the unworthy only enrage the Almighty God. "Wiol du Almighty Serpen, Eka Conquer" (For the Almighty Serpen, I conquer) will be the last thing Serpens enemies hear. Hey everyone, Sorry about my absence recently. I have been going through some real life stuff that has kept me away. This is far from an 'official position' on this whole thing, but I figured I'd toss out my initial impression. The screenshot in the OP reads very clearly like a joke to me. It's also not exactly clear to me at this point what the actual 'exploit' allegation against Borg is? With the NPO / GPWC situation, NPO was basically recruiting ~1,000 people to sign up and play P&W, do 100/100% taxes, and just farm stuff for NPO in exchange for access to a Discord server that had English translations of Korean comics (manhwa) that you couldn't really get anywhere else. NPO (& allies) benefitted heavily from this, and ultimately I took action against them because I interpreted what they were doing as trading real-life "goods" for in-game "goods" (and obviously it was just unfair.) But as far as I can recall, there was no 'exploit' due to any technical issues or anything. They didn't make bots, they were recruiting real people, and making them play the game and farm money/rss in exchange to retain access to their manhwa Discord server. So, again, I'm not really sure how Borg would have been involved in that, or where the exploit allegations are coming from. But I am also just getting back into the swing of things and haven't had a chance to even get on Discord yet to chat with other people and learn more about the situation. Lastly, I'll just add that Borg has been really helpful since he started playing P&W behind the scenes. There have probably been between 10-30 XSS/SQL injection vulnerabilities in the game that Borg was able to expose and always immediately reported to me to fix. Including at least 2 that I recall from 10-14 days ago regarding the new alliance positions update that is in testing on the test server which I still need to get to and fix. This is certainly not an acquittal, but I imagine most people would not know that Borg has been extremely helpful in keeping the game's code secure, and I have even consulted with him before on new stuff to help ensure there are no vulnerabilities. So, anyway, I will continue to learn more about this whole situation and get back to you all with a more official answer. But at least after an initial read of just this thread, my impression is that Borg was just making a joke and it got taken out of context and blown up into a whole silly thing.

I can't be bothered to read the whole thread but I'll give my opinion on it. BK Net was launched in early 2015, before the API was even a thing. It managed city grants, loans, entrance grants, and an member to alliance market. It has since been expanded to do... pretty much everything. We had a recruitment bot years before anyone else even thought of it. In BK, all of our tech is proprietary and built in-house by myself and a few other talented developers. We have a development group (which is underutilized) and encourage our members to learn programming to continue to build tools. We make an attempt to foster skill growth within our programming community. However, we do not automate certain things. We do not give automated recommended builds or automated recommended war paths (we have sims though). I personally feel like relying on a bot too much does not allow your individual members to be competent on their own. But that is the choice your alliance has to make. That being said, the barrier to entry to create automation tools is extremely low. Back in 2015, it was next to impossible to create tools that do what they do today because there was no API. With the improvements to v1 API, the limited scope of v2 API, and especially with v3 API, it is super easy to watch a few videos on YouTube and build yourself a bot and learn a valuable skill in real life. Shit, I basically learned web programming due to BK Net. Additionally, as mentioned above, there are plenty of open source or free-to-use bots and tools out there. You don't even have to learn how to code. Pull Loctutus in your sever and have at it. Personally, I don't like using foreign bots but that's a decision your alliance has to make. Bottom line, banning bots is stupid. I think the rules surrounding automation is sufficient. Additionally, the barrier to entry to pull bots into your sever or consume the API is pretty low and will only get easier as they improve the v3 API. The skill gap has changed. Adapt or lose.

Just saw this now - your information is almost completely wrong, so I won't fault you for viewing us as the bad guys here. Let me summarize it. -Llojsa has a hissy fit and leaves the alliance, poaches about a dozen people, and makes his own alliance. -After two or so months, we make amends and he merges The Future back into us. As part of the agreement, our banks were combined, which is pretty standard during a merge. The fact that the merge went through during a global was a coincidence and didn't actually affect anything related to the logistics/terms of the merge, other than me not wanting to pay for damages Future sustained while they were on the other side of a global. I was overruled on that, by the way. -Llojsa's friend Lovin Boi becomes a chronic problem within the alliance, inciting instability and generally pissing people off. Eventually, he was kicked from the alliance after a freakout in our general member chat over a grant being delayed for a few hours. He was sent his holdings. -After Lovin is kicked, Llojsa has a meltdown and leaves. He was also sent his holdings. -After leaving, Llojsa declared war on our econ department, apparently not realizing that he would be countered. He formed his own alliance and began poaching members again. He was unable to secure a protectorate, and we've cycled him since that point because of his refusal to peace. After leaving for the second time, he demanded 3b, a figure that he obviously was not getting for a couple reasons. 1) He claimed that 3b was the value of Future's bank - in reality much less than this was transferred to WH's bank. 2) Much of that money was comprised of the personal holdings of Llojsa and Kuchi. He was requesting 3b ON TOP of holdings that had already been sent, evidently not realizing that the money he had offshored with Borg included his personal holdings. 3) When The Future merged into Waffle House, it was agreed that our banks were merged - therefore, he had no claim to any non-holdings money from Future's bank. 4) He literally left and declared war on us...why the hell would we fund his war effort? I wrote way more than I wanted to there for a week old post, but oh well. This should clear things up.

As a new AA leader and someone who has merged a couple of times, I will stand up for Waffle House here lol... Not that they seem to need it. An alliance is responsible for the actions of its members. If some of your members hit Waffle House, Waffle House is in the right to retaliate against your alliance. Alliances have no obligations to their enemies. If you gave them your bank, that's on you. Waffle House has no imperative to fund your... war effort against them? Am I misunderstanding that you're attacking WH and expecting them to return your deposits... but shocked they want reps from the money they already have? An alliance's bank doesn't belong to you just because you merged. That tax money didn't come from your nations. If your bank couldn't cover the rebuild then that should've been addressed before merging, and if that was a deal-breaker then say so.

i think this at least warrants some attention from the game admin and some assurances for the community that this is at least unfounded or demonstrably false. the last major exploits in this game carried on for months with no action from @Alex, despite being informed about them by multiple people. the person to bring this information forward is a known long time borg associate and has his alliances discord server, the one he is leader of, being held hostage as we speak. theres more screenshots floating around, some hinting at some 'extra' functionalities the bot has. Feel free to post them in here. so, discuss

Hello! As a bot developer, i just want to answer this topic. About the raid finder, this is also depends on the AA for example in IoM we also teach how find a target in the old fashionable way, rely only on the bot is not a smart thing from my view. For the warfare, it's the same thing i don't rely on my bot or other bot for manage a war only my little brain. Econ : I find my self pretty good with the "automation" of this part, i'm lazy too. Recruitment : I personally answer all in-game messages i receive from new players, but i have to agree about receving around 50 messages in the first 60 seconds. The definition of automation (based on my conversation with alex) is where the bot automate a function (don't you say) and all bot i encountered until now (mine too) don't automate a function, it's just make your life easier but you still need to make a lot of thing on your own for use that function. A possibile solution for keep track what a bot from alex, is to create a category-channel in the official discord server with all the bot developer, where he can ask clarification or something.

Why has he been sitting on this since November? It's clear Spanky believes Borg. The only conclusion is that Spanky was willing to turn a blind eye to massive (alleged) cheating until it benefitted him not to. Pretty poor play. Probably all a load of lies but on the chance it isn't, Spanky and whoever is in that group chat should be punished for not reporting it & using the screenshots to further their own agenda when it suited them.

Maybe my memory fails me but. Whaling Corp + some NPO higherups were banned becuase of weird mangha distribution and tax farming bots. NPO was dealt aniother blot after they managed to set their tax rates to like over 100% by avoiding the front end of the tax menu. The first thing would not spawn in 150B, nor frame anyone. The second thing could spawn in 150B but the glitch had to happen trough someone with NPO tax manage perms, which borg did not have if i recall correctly. Unless he hacked into the PNW servers after a months long war to change NPO's tax rate after NPO was virtually dead already; to really kill them off one last time. But I have serious doubts about that. It feels very implausible. All the other accusations are dishonorable at worst (if they are true which i dont know) and don't warrant moderator action. About the morality of bots: That certainly is a discussion to have but that should happen in a diffrent thread.

This is totally unfair and untrue. Automation has made the game more accessible and easier. If anything, it has leveled the playing field since now basically any alliance can access basic tools. And I think we’re at a point for the first time ever that competence refers to more than like the top 10 alliances. It’s also super disrespectful to the dozens of other coders who have given hours to their alliances to create native tech. Creating this stuff isn’t always easy nor is it quick. Shame on you tbh.

I have spoken it like 100 times. Only Lovin Boi Was KICKED because of causing internal disasters. His buddies left because they felt alone so in conclusion, We only and only kicked Lovin . Llojsa and other members left themselves . Many things have been violated from the agreement by TF side .
