  1. The Commonwealth is Now Proudly Sponsored by The Coca Cola Company. I know this is shocking, but I'll do my best to explain; as we all know, Alex doesn't care about anything but money, knowing this, we at The Commonwealth knew if we wanted to quickly win the war, we had to give Alex a lot of money, but where were we to get a lot of money? This is where the gracious folks at the Coca Cola Company stepped in. The Coca Cola Company, if you didn't know, make and sell a wide variety of very delicious drinks. They agreed to sponsor our admin bribe if we took control of the Lime color bloc at some point and changed it to advertise the amazing taste of their extremely popular beverage: Sprite. We of course immediately accepted and the rest is history. For the record, all it took for Alex to accept our deal was a total of $4.99 and a two liter of Sprite. Because of this, we were able to pocket the rest of the multi-million dollar deal, and we plan to use the money to translate Australian magazines to English in order to use them to recruit the British into our new upcoming, TOTALLY LEGAL AND LEGIT, alliance, "Enjoy the Great Taste of Coca Cola," otherwise known as EtGToCC. Thank you for your time. Signed For The Commonwealth - Malleator : Soon to be Fired Deputy Minister of Machines and Growth For The Coca Cola Company - James Quincey : Chief Executive Officer Please note that Alex did not accept any bribe, The Commonwealth is in no way affiliated with the Coca Cola Company, and this entire thread is a lie/satire that has been disavowed and disallowed by the entire government of The Commonwealth, yes that includes Malleator. Thank you for your patience and please vote Sprite for best color bloc name. Love you. ❤️

  2. Ahoy, Comraid! Even as they slipped into their moorings at port they could hear the commotion. Sounds of laughter and singing threaded together with slightly discordant violin music drifted across the bay towards them. Grand Admiral Zim stood on deck gazing inland toward what sounded like quite the party. “Lads” he said over his shoulder as the crew gathered on deck. “I don’t know about you, but it appears we are late to the party”. Admiral Ripper chuckled to himself behind his mask “Aye! But better late than never, I always say.” As a crew member lowered the gang plank, Zim yelled over his shoulder “Lads, and Ladies! It’s time for a bit of fun!!! We celebrate tonight, for you have earned it, but two days hence we sail!! You bilge rats had better be ready then! If you fall behind.....” “YOU GET LEFT BEHIND” the crew shouted as they jostled their way over the gangplank and down the dock towards town, First Mate Bocephus wagging and barking along side. As the crew approached, the sound of the party grew louder and louder until they arrived at the tavern. The Admiralty pushed their way forward through the crew and opened the door. They were greeted with a blast of sight, sound, and, unfortunately, smell. Pirates were everywhere singing, drinking, and playing dice. A few were dancing and several were in various degrees of undress participating in questionable things with the staff. Someone was swinging from the light hanging above the taproom, and some fool was trying (and fortunately failing) to set fire to the upstairs balcony. When the revelers noticed the Arrgh! Crew filing in, they slowly ceased their fun and stood, staring at the pirates as they entered. The music suddenly stopped and an uneasy silence filled the room. Both sides bristled at each other as hands strayed toward sword hilts. Both sides staring hard across the room. Zim searching through the crowd for threats noticed a familiar face across the room. A slow smile spread across his ugly mug as he put the name to the face “Dryad, it’s been a long time”. As Dryad recognized the speaker he returned the greeting “Ahh Zim, I see those navy jackals haven’t managed to get a noose around your neck yet, you filthy pirate!” “I could say the same about you and the national guard” replied Zim. Both leaders strode to the center of the room and exchanged a firm handshake. As if everyone in the room was holding their breath and could only now exhale, the tension in the room went out and everyone relaxed returning to their activities and the new arrivals shouting for ale and rum. “Let’s you and I get a quiet table and catch up.“ Dryad said, moving to a dark corner of the room. “You know” Dryad said after emptying his tankard. “With all this warfare going on between the two coalitions......there could be......opportunities for the, shall we say, industrious to make some coin”. “And of what industry do you speak?” asked Zim leaning into closer. “But, raiding of course!” said Dryad. “Of course!” Zim replied laughing. Dryad leaned forward, ”I have heard many sea stories of late about the mountains of booty the Arrghcrew has been hauling in”. “Similar stories are heard about Mythic” replied Zim. “Well” said Dryad, eyes beginning to glow with anticipation. “Imagine that instead of working separately, and in some cases against each other, we came to a...sort of.....understanding? “Of mutual benefit?” asked Zim, eyebrow raised. “Of course!” said Dryad laughing. “Well let’s get to the details then” smiled Zim leaning closer to hear more about the arrangement. The party gained momentum, both Mythic and Arrgh! crews began to bond over rum, sea stories, and other sorts of shared debauchery. It was a party of such magnitude, that to this day people still talk about in port. As dawn broke over the bay the party was still in full swing, and the two figures in the dark corner, heads together were still plotting their collective courses.......... ~ From the Chronicles of Cap'n @Critters ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As it has been recognized that both Arrgh and Mythic follow a similar governing philosophy and support communities the members of which... pillage, plunder, rifle, and loot kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot extort, pilfer, filch, and sack maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack kindle and char, inflame and ignite burn up the city, are really a fright are rascals, scoundrels, villains, and knaves are devils and black sheep, really bad eggs are beggars and blighters, ne'er-do-well cads but are all loved by their mommies and dads … Arrgh recognizes Mythic as an Associate and makes a toast to all the future raiding and plundering to come. This does not imply the signing of any kind of a treaty between the two alliances that will remain paperless, but does signify their will to work together in an attempt to terrorize all the seas, lands and skies of Orbis. tl;dr: Arrgh and Mythic have decided to become raiding partners.

  3. The Council is proud to bring you Combating IQ Gaslighting: Guinea Pig Special Edition Part the Third: NPO did nothing wrong There are many more screenshots in Alex's report, including those showing that NPO leadership lied repeatedly when confronted and deleted incriminating evidence, but I believe I've proven my point here. Further, a common attempt at muddying the waters is that all of this refers to a novel and not a scanlation of a manwha (WMMAP is a novel that was adapted into a manwha), which is what Alex referred to in his report. This is an attempt to obfuscate and also not relevant to this incident. While there are further references to the distribution of translations of the manwha in these and other screenshots, this will be saved for the next part. The distinction between whether a translated manwha or novel was distributed is nonexistent. Further, whether any of the accused parties themselves committed copyright infringement is also not at issue here. The fact remains that exclusive access to content was given in exchange for becoming a passive resource farm for GWPC, and through them NPO. This is a clear violation of the rules and therefore Alex is not only justified in, he has an obligation as the administrator of this game to take action. @Chief Wiggum since there's been a lot of vitriol surrounding this topic, I would ask that all discussion be redirected to either the announcement topic or a separate thread.

  4. As the night progressed, Zim and Dryad’s drinking took a turn for the worse when someone put a bottle of tequila on their table..... “hmmm this stuff is okay, but something is missing” said Zim grimacing at the taste of the brew. “I agree” said Dryad searching the room with his eyes. “Aha!!” cried Dryad. “I see that salty assed horse somehow managed to sneak in here. For once, I’m glad to see it”. The two moved to where the horse stood, alone and crying. They rubbed their glass edges in the salty tears and returned to their table. “Ah, that is what was missing. It just needed a little salt” said Zim tasting the brew again. “Here’s to the future” they both toasted, their salt lined tequila glasses clinking.

  5. To echo the other sentiments, few people are happy to see BK dead. I won't be shedding any tears for Leo, I doubt many will. Just as you called BK home, I have called SK home for nearly 10 years. You can understand, then, how alliances on our side reacted to Leo stating his goal was to drive our members to delete, and our communities to disband. But BK itself? BK was probably one of the most beloved alliances in the game. For years, you had the most upvoted posts, highly regarded discords/IRCs, and often won most popular posters. They memed a lot IC but aside from NPO, few considered it toxic. You were just a bunch of folks laughing and having fun, pleasantly free from the sort of OOC grudges found in other groups. The sort of grudges that consumed your later leadership. It's worth noting that many of the people posting here are your former allies, and even some old members and leaders. It's not some circlejerk from longtime BK haters. SK and I have had a funny roller coaster relationship with BK through the years. We started off as allies when BK was first created nearly a decade ago in Project Terra. We started as enemies here on Orbis in the VE war, and flopped back and forth ever since. Allies in Oktoberfest/168, enemies in Silent; allies in Trail of Tiers, enemies in Ayysalmic Crusade; allies (albeit strained) in Knightfall, enemies again in this war. Through it all I always enjoyed the general BK community. Memeing on the forums and Discord. All the BK Stronk posts, Biel's reminders to disband and join BK. Maybe if Leo didn't start taking that last joke seriously, I could have enjoyed BK the government too. So I'm not happy to see BK disband. It's like watching an old friend fall in with a bad crowd and slowly lose themselves and their life. I have only contempt for those that led us to this moment. But as for the old friend, I will remember the good times, and wish they could have lasted.

  9. This isn't the whole log. Here it is, for full transparency and context: It's clear that this log that's been trotted out by NPO over and over again was cropped to make it look better for them. This conversation opened with "I have an interesting question about fairness philosophy, so I'll use an extreme example" And following up with "What would your gut reaction be?" I agree with others in this thread who have stated I should have been more careful with my words. However, given the context, I don't think my answer was inappropriate. Had I known what was going on at the time, I would have implemented a change like I did when I found out, kicking inactive nations to Gray much sooner than 14 days to solve the problem mechanically. Finding out what was going on months later and having to compiling evidence, ban players, and create such a mess was never the solution I had desired. The fact of the matter is that I did not understand what was going on. I just knew that the players weren't bots; they were real accounts run by real people. I didn't know what manhwa was, and I never dreamed that such a scheme could or would be implemented, especially to such a degree. And, as I pointed out in my report, the reason for that is because the GPWC members were actively discouraged from participating in the usual communication channels of the game and were told to keep the manhwa stuff secret. @HeroofTime55's response sums up my opinion on this pretty well: My interpretation and enforcement of the rules is that things that exist for the purpose of the game (game-related Discord bot, alliance flag, nation flag, custom graphics for the game, etc.) are okay to trade for in-game money.

  10. When the majority of the posts here show disdain for one person (Leo), shouldn’t that cause you to take a step back and think hard on that? And no, the blame is set on the leadership of those 2 respective AAs. One of them ‘cheated’, the other called for your disbandment after their friends got banned. No one outside of your community called for you to disband. In fact: https://imgur.com/a/y7uYHrG We attempted to give you room so your community could figure out what to do.

  11. Disclaimer: sadly none of those are official TCW talking- or viewpoints represented in this one at all. Finally our Socialist Overlord/Communist furry Sphinx more familiarly known to some as the Snake from down under, is not confident enough on his iron grip of power to call another few weeks as "democratic elections" for TCW. His clearly rigged em, paid the key officials in IA and these elections are just for show indented to consolidate his image as the one and only glorious leader of TCW to keep his insidious and down right wrong and oppressive economical policies in place, which tax the whales 100% while supporting the plebs who are too young to know anything about real loyalty or effectiveness in combat. While I have always been considered as the Shield of Democracy in the TCW even by previous prime ministers and canadian mad-men like Justin076, current elections being such an obvious ploy that I just had to speak out against em publicly... Also if anyone on is interested in my election platform the DNA has published the whole thing at TKR forums, it´s my most lit platform to date, if I do say so myself... Also DNA endorses only two candidates so far in the elections: Kalev60 and Aesir because the GPA mascot paid well for the endorsement #Legal-coup_or_DIE

More categories will be added as the need arises. This resource has been brought to you by The Council to Restore PURE DECADENCE to Orbis, Dongminion LLC, and Viewers Like You.

  16. This is frankly irrelevant, since @Alex had already established with his prior ruling on @Bjorn Ironside that whether it's your personal wealth or not is irrelevant, as once it's been in the bank it is no longer yours and you have no claim to it. Alex, for the love of Christ, at least keep your moderating consistent if it's going to be bullshit. Edit: link to previous ruling and discussion:

  17. I would urge the community to not remember BK as the combative forum presence of Leo/Mad Titan. Instead remember the glory days of Shifty's ministry of propaganda, photoshopped treaty signatures, Ayy Lmao, Ayyliens, the Obsidian Order, Curbstomping UPN/Rose/Acadia repeatedly even though they always "blitzed" first, Stratton Oakmont, Yosonet, the list could go on... BK has been around longer than most, it's sad to see the alliance officially disband. It was the first place I was a member of when I joined PnW and it was a great time while I was there. Special shout out to the greats who may or may not still be in the alliance as it breathes its last: @Curufinwe you were always genuinely intelligent and though our opinions have differed since you became Emperor/retired from Emp, I will always fondly remember you as one of the great Foreign Affairs minds in PnW. @LordStrum you were perhaps the most inactive Emperor I'd ever experienced under any alliance gov, but you had class and a sexy voice. BK flourished under your benign neglect, and was likely the last "Golden Age" before the descent began. @Yosodog You'll always be the true leader of BK to me. You were a great dude, fun to chat with, and you created some fantastic software for alliance organization. You brought BK from 2000's spreadsheets into 2020 workflow and you deserve all the love. @丂ħ̧i̧₣ɫ̵γ͘ ̶™ I had to copy/paste your forum name into a notepad and back to the forums to actually ping you and I hate you for that. You brought about some of the best and most iconic propaganda/photoshop works in all of PnW. @Psweet Stratton Oakmont and your internal BK bank was one of the first banks in PnW, you set the standard for how private banks should operate and ran it with expertise and professionalism. SO was instrumental in the early days of my nation in growing and flourishing while maintaining BK's MMR. @Tiber @Zoot @Taco and countless others who deserve special mention, you all rock but I'm running out of time to type. One last Ayy Lmao for the road.

This unfortunate incident occurred in a sewer pipe in Embrace It’s capital city. The deceased was reported to have shouted "GOONS! I am undone!" just before expiring. 19. I was one of the people who was brought in to look at the body of evidence regarding the GPWC money and resource farm to provide feedback to Alex. There's been a lot of talk on both sides about how the action taken was too much, while the other side has said that there was not enough action. That's an indicator of a solid compromise, a reasonable middle. When dealing with this whole situation I want to make one thing clear, there is no good solution. The impact of GPWCs funding of fighting on the last several months can not be addressed adequately, there is no magic fix for what has happened, there is no ideal solution. Thus knowing all of the remaining options are poor ones, why act? Because action needed to be taken. The impact of adding nearly a billion dollars in cash and resources to one side daily over several months of warfare cannot be understated, especially when looking at the climate of the war. This war, like many wars before it, became toxic. However the level of toxicity reached new heights in this war with people on both sides talking like this war was the last war. There were comments about driving people out of the game, wanting to make people quit, see alliances disband. Emotions were high on both sides because of these sentiments. Now, take that environment and find out one side had been funding their campaign with illicit sources. There is no way to roll back the emotion, even if you could roll back the damage. It makes sense that some leadership, even those not accused of cheating, would quit after this event. They adopted an all-in mentality on this war. If you lose your all-in, you've nothing left. However leaders whom encourage their players to delete their accounts simply because their gambit failed are an embarrassment to themselves and the communities they claim to represent. While it is true they cannot force people to delete or quit, trying to exert your influence over your members to do so is beyond disappointing. Some of you I've known for years, even a decade. You've disappointed me. To those claiming that Alex knew about this and gave it his blessing -- you're very much wrong. You knew what you were doing was wrong, its why you approached him with vague statements. If you had laid out what you were actually doing, you would have received a very different response and we both know it. Had you asked him: "Can we invite around 1000 people to join the game, but they're not going to play in the traditional sense, instead they're going to sit in an alliance that taxes them 100% to gain additional resources. In return for them logging in often enough to allow their nations to be taxed properly we will provide them with a translated comic they want. Should they fail to log in frequently enough we remove their access to the comic", do you really believe you would have his okay to move ahead? Of course not, it's why you didn't ask him directly for permission for what you were doing. You knew it was wrong. I've been encouraging, both publicly and privately, alliances who remain to move towards a white peace. The faster we can move past this incident, the better. We need to put this behind us as a cautionary tail of what happens when we become too toxic, and what happens when cheating is allowed at the high levels of governance. This game is not dead, as much as those who were in the wrong, and those whom feel the actions taken against their friends were unjust want it to be. We have a moment -- a few of them -- to take a breath, and as the dust settles on this event we can move forward as a community. A moment of silence to the real victims, the farm owners of GPWC who will no longer be receiving their comics.

  20. Your arguments are being addressed, but I can't stand by any longer and watch you use whom so incorrectly. Whom is the object of a sentence (object of a verb or a preposition, most commonly used after a preposition). Who is the subject of a sentence. Ex. For whom are lying? Ex. Who are you lying for? The subject of a sentence is that noun that is "doing" the action. This can be determined by asking who or what is VERBing. Ex. NPO is cheating. WHO is cheating? NPO. NPO is the subject. The object of a sentence is the thing that the verb is being done to. So you can ask what is being VERBed. Ex. NPO is ruining the game. What is being ruined? The game (the object.) Who is ruining the game? NPO (the subject.) The object of a preposition is that which follows a preposition, for a full list of prepositions and a song to learn them, go here. Ex. NPO threw a temper tantrun along with their friend BK. WITH is the preposition, "their friend BK" is the object of the preposition. So we could substitute "their friend BK" here with a variant of whom such as: NPO threw a temper tantrum along with whomever sympathizes with cheaters. Carry on.

  23. Paperless doesn't have to mean neutral or isolationist. You can have friends based on relationships. Those relationships can also dissolve once those friendships go their separate ways. That is, in fact, one of the key tenets of being paperless. You move on from relationships that aren't working, you aren't bound by a silly treaty ad eternum. Too many alliances these days pick a sphere and sign an alliance and forget about them until war rolls around. The little ones do it for protection, the big ones do it to have pawns in their chess match.

  30. Greetings shareholders, business partners, customers, and friends. As many of you may know, we in Silenzio have been strongly considering leaving PW for some time now. Indeed, the only reason we've stayed so long was the existence of Moonlight bank, and our duty to those who had invested their money and trust into us. Sadly, over the 9 months Moonlight has existed, 7 of those were during a catastrophically destructive war. But now peace is coming, and Moonlight Bank has found a new Director. @Gobi will be taking control of the bank henceforth, in possession of all shares that were owned by any Silenzio member; of all powers that Strum, Joel, and I wielded; and of all debts formerly payable to us. Gobi and I have been discussing this move for quite some time, and he has my full confidence in his ability to maintain Moonlight's tradition of transparency and innovation. I hope you all enjoy working with him as much as I have during this period. Speaking personally, it has been my pleasure to serve the community, even for so limited a time as I was given, and I wish you all the best. May your futures be prosperous!

It's his money that we loaned to him. Not our bank's." This was my exact statement. In fact, it is more of a grant than a loan.

  33. So first, he didn't give the go ahead. He said it was an issue that should be fixed by a mechanics update. Second, there was never any mention of real life goods (especially illegal ones) being traded for in-game benefits. This part is laid out incredibly clearly in the rules in the some of the least ambiguous language. Additionally, say their is a law that says don't murder and you go to the President, or even better, the dictator of a country who made the law, and say, "hypothetically speaking, can I murder this dude?" And the answer is some sort of ambiguous, but surely not explicitly forbidding answer, will you kill the dude? And do you expect that when it comes to your judgement for killing the dude that your hypothetical question which flew directly in the face of the law will convince the court of your innocence? It's really not as complicated as people keep making it out to be. The best defense is really the "you can't prove we had scanlations", because yea, we can't, we probably could've if Alex had gone undercover longer, but if you hearing barking in the next room and someone says, "yea my dog in there." You can generally guess there is a dog in that room without necessarily opening the door.

  39. The bans were because NPO lied, obfuscated, and attempted to hide details from Alex, when he confronted them about it. To be absolutely clear, if they fessed up to what they were doing, when the admin of the goddamn game was asking them, then their punishments would have been far less severe. Instead, they attempted to Obstruct Game Staff when those staff were trying to do their duties. They failed in their Obstruction attempt, because Alex already had all the evidence he needed, and that is why NPO gov got banned. They could have just fessed up and taken their licks with GPWC farms and funds being removed. Instead they lied and continue to lie. It's their own damn fault. Even if Alex did OK the full extent of this operation 5 months ago (which he didn't, you just have one screenshot of him shooting from the hip on a hypothetical), he has every right to change his mind, and NPO should have been honest and forthright, which they were not. Honesty would have demonstrated that they believed it was legal. The dishonesty proves that they knew full well it was not.
