Hello all, As a short break from your regularly scheduled forum salt, I'm a here to report on the global trade markets. I'm going to cover a few major topics all in one post so get ready! War Profiteering, Duplication, and Summertime Stagnation: A PnW Summer Economic Expose! War Profiteering has often been an extremely profitable venture, especially when there are multiple uninvolved parties selling to the fighters. This summer we saw PnW's (non-duplicated) total money sums pass half a trillion dollars for the first time on June 2nd. Alex's food-costing project update, combined with mini-sphere wars 'for fun', and finally World War Salt itself has pushed war profiteering global commerce to new heights! Between Alex's new project update and the beginning of Surf's Up, the world collectively made 70 billion sheepcoins from selling now-hyper-valued food. Once Surf's Up was declared, the world's resource hoarders once again minted sheepcoins by the billions to the tune of 85.7 billion between Surf's Up and World War Salt! Since then (June 16th) we've only seen monetary reserves inflate, albeit at a slower rate, by another 44.5 billion sheepcoins. Just to recap: That's 200 billion sheepcoins gained since May 8th - A ~33% increase in the world's monetary supply in 3 months. But while the financial sector is booming, the Dow-Roberts Industrial Index has not fared well during wartime. Summertime Stagnation is upon us. Since roughly July 1st we've seen every single raw resources flatline in terms of production: Coal, oil, bauxite, uranium, iron, lead - all making very little gains and some small losses in global supply. This isn't to mention the obvious - war is eating manufactured resources like hotcakes. Global steel, munitions, gasoline, and aluminum supplies have declined 30-40% across the board. Yet hope still remains deep in the recesses of the world graphs... Food has finally begun to produce net positive again! You heard me right. After months of being eaten like locusts descending on a field, we have finally seen a full week of positive food production again on Orbis. This is only after half the global supply was devoured by the ravenous swarm. Will positive production continue? Probably, says one guy I asked. For those of us waiting for prices to finally drop to buy the damned projects, here's hoping. Thanks for tuning in to another episode of "wow look at those numbers" by Roberts. The Penitus Oculatus are an organization which answers to the Emperor. Our primary task is protecting the Emperor, and as such, we are elite bodyguards. We will use anything necessary to fulfill our task. Our Purpose: Penitus Oculatus Agents serve a number of tasks. They are tasked with discovering spies within the Empire through tact and their mind, but they can also be tasked with stealing, poisoning, stabbing, injuring, or murdering targets to serve a greater cause. Inspectors are involved with investigating crime scenes, such as when someone related to the Imperial family is kidnapped. They are also able to send out scouts to investigate events or places that might threaten the Empire. So I was considering something, and I think I realized something really interesting. All the intended parties(BK, TCW, TGH, KT, TKR, CoS, and NPO) all achieved their war goals with this war, albeit at different times of the war. KT/TGH/TKR wanted to incapacitate BK sphere for targeting them. They are, and you could honestly say that FA-wise, they lost a lot of allies and meatshields, so this war crippled their FA pull. BK/TCW wanted to incapacitate the 2 smaller spheres, they did so, they achieved their goals as KTsphere and Chaos can’t realistically fight them anytime soon. NPO wanted to incapacitate KTsphere and Chaos from being able to roll NSOsphere post war. While their may be smaller things, this is what every sphere wanted. Sooooo why can’t everyone end the war and move on? It’s literally gotten to the point where everyone won what they wanted.

The game is very lame with species, using the Earth-neutral noun "human" that extraterrestrials detest. It might be nice to be able to specify species; i.e, to state that you are an ayy lmao, nematode, crabman, or android from 2142 and force the game to use the relevant nouns.

Singling out specific posts to justify this as a "death match" is pretty blatant spin. Our side was never in a position to make this a "death match" because it is another dogpile perpetuated by your sphere. Also it's not a "gotcha" post when I am asking somebody to clarify their position. We have to do that because you never actually do, instead you rely on secret CBs and secret protectorate agreements that are so confusing that not even your allies understand what you are doing.

Hello, Some of you may know me as a troll and that's fine, I'm proud of that lol. Anyways I have decided that I am going to quit PnW after nearly 4 years of playing. I have officially hit adulthood sadly and I have found a job. I am also starting college and have to maintain my social life with all this. To the people who I've argued with (and that's a lot) don't take it to heart it was only a bit of trolling. I may return soon but until then, goodbye! There were two main people who said anything along these lines of a death match. And there have been more than that, really, who have said they would be willing to come to the table and that it wasn't a death match. So this "rhetoric" isn't really a rhetoric from our side. It's rhetoric from individuals that you either just want to consider our main voice to keep your propaganda/shenanigans going, or you actually take Sketchy at his absolute word as the be all end all voice for the entire side. Which, quite frankly, is really funny to me. Because... ya know. I like Sketchy. But he's a bit of a Troll.

Again: Last war, BK's leader laughed about making people quit the game. That was not a death match of survival for IQ, especially not in your tier. You had a numerical advantage, and that is what you elected to do with it. It clearly did not offend you then, and considering how far out of your way you went in this war to help BK again, well... Maybe that is informing people's decisions on this war more than anything Sketchy said? Since, you know, it was literally first. You're not being forced to be toxic and you're not being forced to try and drive people you don't like out of the game. It's a choice. It's one I think your alliance would be wise to back down from, because I think you'd pretty quickly find that people like Sketchy are being shouted down by the people on our side with sense, anyway (unless, of course, you're merely trying to trump up his comments to attempt to justify your own actions... but you wouldn't do that, Roq, would you?).

See the thing is, we ARE getting tons of engagement from your side, but you are very selective on what you reply to. You certainly have no problem calling Adrienne a liar nonstop for months without providing any proof. Your side also has no problem arguing other topics as seen throughout this and other threads. The only thing you can't seem to address is rebuttals to your CB for yet another dogpile. You say this is because people are calling you are liar so we should not expect “engagement” from you despite your CB and narrative being predicated on us being liars. Even when we provide logs that we think might be what you are referring to, we still can't get a straight answer out of you. What people are asking here is very simple. You started another dogpile with the claim you have logs that shows Adrienne was lying and planning to hit you. So please back up your claims since you apparently dislike baseless accusations of lying.

Sorry to interrupt your regular pixel burning, but I felt like talking about the pig-disgusting habit of pixel huggery. As Orbis is where it should be (with - almost - everyone reking each others' pixels), I thought it was a good time to reflect on this fascinating phenomenon, which directly correlates to war dodging. Over the years I've been playing this game, I've come to observe many people, and a few alliances in particular, repeatedly war dodge. The 2 best examples are Dark Brotherhood and RnR. DB is yet to participate in an alliance war (Yoda did fight a bit in Knightfall which led to some TKRsphere nations hitting DB but it ended quickly), having been around for a considerable amount of time. RnR, which has several nations that originated from the former (and also pixel hugging) RnR, plus a bunch of other nations versed in the ways of war dodging, is also yet to take part in an alliance war. Imo this requires a lot of skill, mainly political. I would have thought for sure that joining NPO's side would inevitably make DB finally fight, but apparently I was wrong. I hope at least they're serving as cash cows for their allies, which would somewhat help justify their pathetic existence. RnR is a slightly different case. Led by one of the biggest pixel huggers in the game (thanks for the embargo on my alliance btw honeybuns :*), you merely have to take a look at their war stats to come to the conclusion that we're talking about pixel hugging / war dodging professionals. Politics aside (I've pretty much stopped caring about them since Knightfall ended), I think this is where we as a community have failed. We used to talk trash about GPA war profiteering. This is much worse. These are neutrals disguised as real alliances. When you see several nations (some of them with incredibly low city count) with ridiculously high amounts of infra in one alliance, and p much the rest of the game is burning, you come to the inevitable conclusion that these folks have been outsmarting the rest of us pretty hard. So I just hope one day someone (I don't care who although I hope I'll participate) will finally roll this pixel hugging trash into the dirt, and make them see they can't always play in peace mode. I for one have been doing my part and will give a forum cookie to anyone who's kind enough to calculate the total damage I've dealt RnR with my solitary roguery.

Honestly, taking advice from under of all people on who not to engage with is a tad silly, considering it's typically wise not to bother engaging with his endless trolling either. It's like if a con-artist master thief is telling you to fear the rogue house burglars the next neighborhood over while he steals your neighbor's life savings.

Instead of saying sucks for them, we could try to make the system more fair and efficient by using verification after suspicion of having multiple nations.

I disagree with you here. What's their experience in this game? They do nothing but log in and buy their pixels. It is fun to grow in cities, land, and infra, but eventually they gets boring. Are they really having fun with the game? I imagine they're also very fragile. What would happen if DB and RnR got hit really hard? Got sat on for a while? How would their community perform? Would they shed a lot of members? They probably would. There's no resilience there. I don't think they've been outsmarting anyone. I do think their government might deserve praise for being able to avoid war for so long. That is rather difficult to pull off. However, I think it's all very brittle and there's no virtue in a house of cards. Sorry if this post reads weird. For some reason my thinking is very fragmented rn lol.

If there is no proof showing Blink's involvement, then I believe this, Blink has always been a good boi and I too think he'd call Pooball out. I prefer if he was unbanned as well.

Jesus why didn't the guy just ask for help... If he really did tax at 100% he could have so easily taken a loan, paid them out and handled the interest. Or even asked TKR, they're rich, and at least for Ad Mech they gave no-interest no-period loans. I was kinda hoping for an evil mastermind confession, because this is just kinda depressing. It could so easily have been handled without all this.

Last night, I received a message from pooball with a request for me to post something on his behalf on the forums. I was on the fence about posting it but I know a lot of you have questions about how and why this happened so I thought it would be worthwhile to share with you all here. He's not expecting forgiveness but wanted the opportunity to apologize and explain why he did what he did. "Hello everyone its Pooball I know you all dislike me right now and im now banned in game and on the forums but I wanted to explain a few things to you all. Please take your time to read this. Firstly I would like to apologise to everyone and come clean with this this cheat. I did know it was going on and even asked others to help me with it. Everyone who was taking part in this cheat has rightly been banned now. I first noticed that this could happen back during knightfall and at the time I did report this bug to Alex so that it could be fixed at the time Alex doubted me so I done it again and sent him the details but then never had a reply. Not trying to start a big argument now but I had seen others doing the same thing during knightfall. Now anyway a few months before knightfall I started doing a lot of trading I had a lot of people sending me money so that I could trade with more money meaning I could make more money buying bigger bulks. All my trading at the time was 100% not cheating and things was working out very well I had billions invested from many different people over Orbis. Anyway I started to hear a lot of people talking about this big nap ending so I thought great ill buy loads of rss and then sell them during the war. At the time rss was a lot higher in price so for example I bought roughly 500k alum at 2700 ppu. I had many trades like this and then the war hit Nova and I had to send everything away to be safe. Prices started to drop like crazy and I was making a huge loss when it was time to sell everything. Some safekeeping was never returned along with some money but it was my problem so I had to fix it. What money I did get back I ended up buying more rss with to lower the avg price that I had paid but this still didn’t work as nothing was selling on the market. I started to get a lot of angry people demanding for their investments back and managed to avoid paying anyone for along time. This really stressed me out as I was by that time doing so well with Nova and I didn’t want members to lose out due to my mistakes with non alliance issues. I was getting 50+ dms in discord from angry people asking for their money back I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t want to just delete and reroll leaving people losing so much so I wondered what the glitch would do with trades. At this point I didn’t care if I was cheating I didn’t want to let anyone down North 14 knew I owed so much and was stressed about it all so he helped me. No other gov or member or any other players knew this until now so please do not punish them any more please accept them into your alliances and treat them like you would anyone else. I made a lot of good friends and again im sorry to you all. I would also Like to thank everyone who helped me and I wish you all well. I would also like to add that Blink did not know about this even if we are brothers, He 100% would have made me not do it or even reported me. I dont expect any favours from anyone but he really should not be banned. I will stick around on Discord for a few days if anyone wants to talk to me."

Nova in the last month or so has... - Declared on Pantheon (very impressive) - Claimed victory over Panth despite Pantheon not agreeing to any peace terms and still declaring on them (Clearly, the new meta strat to win wars) - Been exposed for cheating, and earned a cb with all alliances, to get their arses handed to them. Hopefully, the next step is to disband

You've evaded bans on the discord as well as in-game over 10 times now and you've made an unknown amount of multis that seems to grow by the day. If you didn't continuously try to circumvent the rules I would consider a ban appeal, but considering how you just don't care and threaten violence on other people when things don't go your way, I think it is best if you remain banned as we do not want people like you in the Politics and War community. I will now close this thread.

Day 21 The sun is hot and my water is all gone, i never should of let Joe run off with half of the supplies. I dont think i can last much longer tell my xbox i love her
