You should attack some of the nations that beiged a nation called Movania, allowing him to fight back against his remaining opponents. One of the nations that beiged him is called Sphinx, and the other is Goosinator from an alliance called New Pacific Order.

Both TFP and t$ bought treasures from our coalition, filled a slot on a nation on our side, and navaled the entire time. The only differences I see are that you didn't manage to get to Woodstockia before t$ did and that TFP refused to be bullied by your threats of reporting them for slotfilling. They had no obligation to listen to you and chose instead to stick to the typical treasure transfer deal they had agreed upon. That doesn't make it slotfilling, especially since the literal intent of a treasure transfer is to win the war. You calling it that is just you being upset you couldn't force them to coordinate alongside you but if you want to be upset enough over being delayed by a round or two on a single target to declare on the full alliance for it, go for it. Regardless, it's been three and a half weeks and five expansions later, so I'm still not inclined to believe that your reason for the expansion was this and not just looking at TFP's shiny new infra and lack of ties and thinking "oh, hey, this'll be fun."

It was one slot of one TKR member - the other two slots were filled by your coalition - and that they were going for the treasure was cited in the in-game DoW. This was the only instance of this happening, so between that and them only taking up one slot, your claim that they were trying to aid us is a little odd. It also happened nearly a month ago so if you really felt that strongly about it, it sure took you an awful long time to act on it - after all, your coalition has hit what, five? alliances between this incident and declaring on TFP. So quit being disingenuous - you hit them because you wanted to, not because of a single war from three and a half weeks ago.

Except Sphinx hadn't attacked three of his five targets (if memory serves me right), alongside two of his five targets being in a protectorate of an ally. You're trying to draw an equivalence in an apple to oranges situation. It doesn't hold up as you'd like it to. But that's besides the point. If you (this is a general "you") thought that he was breaking the rules, you should've reported him outright. Rules are meant to be enforced, not used as leverage for IC gains.

If there was anything to actually interfere, it sure as hell would have been a hell of a lot more obvious than a single war against a single nation but countless people couldn't even figure out what you guys were talking about. When Quichwe talked about it being an "independent action", he meant independent of your war, which it was. While I'll give you that TFP probably should have been more direct that's what was going on, it still shouldn't have been difficult to realize what was going on with the in-game DoW, the fact Dalinar had a treasure on his nation, and Quichwe implying it throughout the chat. They weren't flexing on you, they wanted to be left alone to complete their treasure deal, and two days beige should have been manageable by your coalition. You could have held just fine in your wars and gotten the slot covered when it expired. Instead, you continued to threaten reporting them to Alex for something that was an established part of the meta. Again though, if you really felt this strongly about it, why didn't you escalate it then? Why wait so long and only after you've escalated against five other alliances? If this was such an offense, surely they ranked higher on your "alliances to drag in" list than House Arryn or Silenzio.

@Shadowthrone, I'm assuming your downvote on my last post means you disagree with what I'm saying. If you feel I'm wrong here, that treasure buying is slotfilling/a valid CB and your coalition is justified in hitting TFP, I trust you've talked to The Syndicate about them doing it too? If you guys are really sticking to this being the reason, I guess someone should warn @Sisyphus, seeing as they've "aided" our coalition as well by buying a treasure from "slotfilling" TGH and therefore should be next on your coalition's list of alliances to expand to.

Your opening statement to them was literally "do what I say or you're getting reported". Not a request, not a discussion, a demand and yet they're the ones flexing? As far as I'm aware, Quichwe's reaction didn't have anything to do with a belief that we'd come to their rescue, more frustration over your actions. I imagine he responded the way he did because you literally threatened to attempt mod action because of a treasure transfer, a single war with a clear reason that would have had no long-term impact on the war effort. There have been no subsequent wars in the three and a half weeks since it happened so it's pretty obvious the treasure transfer was a one-off thing. As I've already stated, you're welcome to see that single war as a threat and retaliate. One war makes for a pretty weak CB though so you really shouldn't be surprised when folks call BS on it, especially when your declaration comes after you were "adequately prepared" enough to expand on five other alliances. Seems a little less than straightforward to me but what do I know? As you say, I was only milcom before. What will most likely happen is that it'd add another dead subforum to the boards. People who clamor for the addition of it will soon turn around and ask for it's removal because it's simply adding another space that isn't used very often. Why? People want to be noticed. They'll use the big boy section, this space. Plus I'm not quite sure why people are concerned about spam nowadays. This section is pretty much inactive in comparison to the General boards. Just look at the most recent topics here, and browse through the replies. You separate it and you'll just have 2 dead boards pretty much.

Has anyone stopped to think about all of the news coming out of Coalition B recently? BK forces all the protectorates into war. NPO attacks OFA from their own coalition. Commerce Union disbanded because of their "buddies" in Coalition B. - I mean how thick do you have to be to forcefully disband a coalition buddy? The Originals were forced to cancel their MDP with House of Arryn, so that Coalition B could attack AH. Micros from Coalition B have peaced out and found new protectorates. As a result Coalition B has attacked them. NPO having to defend BK, because apparently IQ never disbanded. TFP (Coalition B ) peaces out after extensive losses. BK lets them rebuild infra and attacks with no casus belli. Lets just all remind few simple things here about who Coalition B is fighting: An enemy half their size Made up of alliances who quite literally a week before this global war were at war among themselves. What are you guys doing there? Suffering under reign of terror? Seeking couples counseling? How can anyone get away with that much and still keep half a coalition together?

Hey everyone, Originally I wasn't planning on making a forum post about this, but a combination of MrBooty's excellent post (You legend on beating your depression btw,) in this sub-forum where he spoke candidly about some of his own personal troubles and through the suggestions of several including @Yuiand @MonkeyDLegend has convinced me to do so. Firstly let me preface this I'm not looking for sympathy I simply wish to express my gratitude at the support this community has shown and to reflect on some the recent drama that's made the OWF a very interesting place as of late. At 11am I received a call from the nursing home where my father is a resident of. He was diagnosed with dementia some time ago and has been in care ever since 15/1/18. He had finished his breakfast and went to have a nap, the nurses checked each hour on him (9am and 10am) and he was fine, until they went to wake him up for lunch at 10:50am, where we had unfortunately passed away in his sleep, he was aged 76. A couple hours later after the resident doctor at the nursing home had examined him they informed us they believe he had suffered a heart attack. The first few hours after the event were probably the worst time of my life as my mum and I contacted family and friends and informed them of the news. I was broken from having to tell his sister, friends, cousins etc and having an escape from that and coming onto Discord and this community was that break. Whilst support from my family and friends has been invaluable it has also been immensely draining. So being able to vent to both friends who I don't know IRL in this community and my own Discord servers I run as well people I've barely talked to just hitting me up out of the blue was something that honestly eased the pain more than anything else could. There's been a lot of drama recently many of which my is own doing, some of which in hindsight my actions I do regret and if I could've done differently I would've done so. But as MrBooty expressed in his post towards BK/NPO, I wish to say the same towards KETOG/Chaos/Rose and especially the wider community in general you guys despite our differences and arguments all provide a unique aspect of this community that has made the last few weeks one of the most engaging and enjoyable times in my 1,211 days in this game, it is this community that keeps my interest in the game and I suspect this is the reason most of us stay. I hope I get the honour and the privilege of having the chance to fight alongside you one day or maybe even as a member in the future. For now if I decide to take a break and enter VM, Yui will run tCW in my absence. However If do decide against VM'ing for a bit please don't go easy on me just because of my loss. (Don't take my fun, ;;p) To all the people from all different spheres and blocs that have expressed their condolences thank you for your support to me in this painful time, it means a lot to me. This event has given me pause to reflect on recent events and much like MrBooty said, we are a community and I'll try to make sure going forward I can contribute as best I can to making this game fun for not just my alliance members and allies but the entirely of Orbis. Plus a bit of shitposting and drama is always fun to engage in. Good luck to everyone in the war, its been great fun so far and I'm looking forward to some great next rounds. Terms are as follows European States accepts the following terms: 1: European States, admits defeat and pledges not to re-enter the war against the memesphere. 2: European States shall not provide any aid to KERCHTOG for duration of the war and will not sign treaties with KERCHTOG for the duration of the war. 3: European States will send peace to all ongoing wars, or allow them to expire or run their course, furthermore no new wars will be declared by either party. We wish both KERCHTOG and Memesphere the best of luck going forward and thank everyone involved for a fun few weeks.

Wasn't really trying to get into a debate on the validity of given CBs. I mean, it'd be a tangent, but if it helps you understand my angle any better, my general philosophy on CBs is "while you don't need a specific reason to declare wars, you shouldn't be surprised if someone later turns your own logic back on you". Sort of a "do unto others", fundamentally. So from that angle, in my response to Shadowthrone I was drawing on the tone of his own posts to say "it's amusing you think that is a valid CB, since if everyone else ascribed to that you would be screwed".

Roq: Slotfilling is anything that keeps NPO from airstriking what NPO wants to airstrike Actual slotfilling rules: Declaring wars with no intention to win By a strict interpretation of the rules, holding off beiging and letting the war expire is against the rules as well, but it's fine because NPO is doing it and they're "doing damage". Winning the war by game definition has nothing to do with the game definition of winning the war as long as it's convenient for NPO.

It was for helping our enemy by doing non-damaging attacks. Dalinar had attacked multiple nations who had been fighting and Alfred bailed him out from losing more air, which allowed to him to beat the ones he declared on. OFA on the other hand received more damage by losing its air and units then just getting challenged to beige by your side. It was also only select offenders who were targeted and when some got the message and agreed not to beige were peaced out with no dangling truce. It was an unfortunate situation where we had to hold nations nominally on our side accountable doing things that aided the enemy. If anyone on your side wants to zero CoS's air like I said before, I would be happy if you did it.

I mean, at the end of the day, I have far more friends in, and quite enjoy speaking to the people on the other side of the front. My issues with them is with their governance, not the people themselves, much like they have issues with our side's governance, and thus conflict exists. But @Dio Brando for all we argue and shit on eachother, is an extremely good friend of mine, and even as he's commanded attacks on me, and vice-versa it's a game with the objective of having fun. You don't sincerely hate the people at the end of your barrel in CoDExcept when you die, they're just your enemy in that moment. That said, Frawley is a monster, who rudely destroys the game by making stats available to everyone. He must meet punishment.

Instead of checking the Kill/Loss ratio for our war you should probably check my overall for this war compared to yours. Stop pretending to be smart or good, you are neither, and anyone can see it. I didn't insult them at all. They're very much the opposite of whats expected from people in micros. On the other hand, you're very much the opposite expected of top 10 alliances, so there's that. The guy who couped me did so because he didn't like that i had higher standards for people in my high gov than his previous alliance did, and so when he got pissy about it, he decided he would quit the game and threw a pathetic tantrum as he did so. They did such a piss poor job of it, within 3 hours of me waking up, i already knew who his accomplice was and how he did it. When he deleted and rerolled, i also knew his reroll nation mere hours after he did it, which i notified him of, causing him to delete and never return. Whatta know, shitters hit the quit button. And we, fight a war we weren't ready for. And do well enough of it while outnumbered 5:1 in our tier that all but maybe 2 or 3 of the 41 alliances who've been on your side, would appear below us on a ranking of fighting ability, including TCW. Below a 20 man micro which currently has sub 1k score. Better luck next time.

I'm going to have to disagree with quite a bit of what you said, Tiberius. Insofar as the concept of minispheres is concerned, both size and isolation are relevant. It was intentioned to be ancillary support for multi-polarity, as opposed to bipolarity, which is where your confusion stems from. A world where there are more than two sides, we call multipolar. That has nothing to do with size or military/economic might - the concept of minispheres propagates a world wherein there are more than just two concentrations of power and that they do not maintain an overwhelming advantage over another. No, they do not all have to be equal, and frankly the risk of expansion from any one sphere in terms of power consolidation was always a risk, which every leader was aware of. Isolation mattered because it allowed minispheres the agency to do so as they pleased - the good and bad came along with that free agency. Isolation does not imply a complete lack of willingness to cooperate and work with other minispheres. It expects that there be no long term relationship between any two groupings that would be acted upon regardless of the circumstances. The most problematic failing of this concept was that it demanded a rapid shift in interpersonal dynamics between leaders, and more specifically, a willingness to set aside the past. Cypher is most correct when he says that this war was horrible for this concept. I would not go so far as to say our alliance's intervention led to bipolarity, as I am led to believe both are war time political constructs and not long standing ones, but it did not do good, and the longer this war continues, the stronger the chances of this world coming down to bipolarity become. As for Chaos and KETOG teaming up, that was the single most reasonable course of action they could have taken, and I'm not going to fault them for it. I expect that you will not, either. You would have a point regarding Rose's involvement, but that seems to have been largely overlooked, so I won't bother with that for now. As an aside, I know I'm going to be ripped to hell and back for this. You're most welcome to poke me on Discord if you wish to.

A bit of context, you realise NPO, tS and HS all came together to form a mini sphere, yes? We wanted to break the bipolarity of Orbis and encourage more smaller, localised wars. BK in itself is not a mini sphere. It’s size and bloated corpse of dead alliances goes against what the rest of the game is preaching. It’s a sphere that could rival EMC in its prime due to sheer numbers, so what hope would a fragmented potion of it have? It would have taken the combined alliances of Chaos, KERTOG and N$O to actually compete with BK on a one to one level and stand a good chance of winning. Now do you see how your alliance’s intervention has led the world back into bipolarity? It wouldn’t surprise me if Chaos and KERTOG, along with a few newfound allies, are forced to work with each other in the next couple global wars if you keep going through with your hypocritical Kayser doctrine that you’d intervene in any dogpiles, but of course only you’re allowed to do that.
