I love how Queen M can be racist and say things to me and others that would spark outrage from other people, but when Arkiri makes an obvious offhanded joke, everyone wants to get pitch forks. Queen M just literally said I was in chains and made an equivalent to me being a slave and having a “massa”. Along with countless other things she has said, yet no one cares. This isn't really a post worth dumping on. We all claim to want dynamism but when an alliance actually does do something outside of the norm, from a position of weakness no less, they get shit on.

The Zodiac merger happened before the war so any of those people that didn't come over can't be counted because we never had them in the first place. Rarely do entire alliances move over in a merger unless they are small alliances. Some of the people in Zodiac and Cornerstone didn't want to merge. That is their choice. We welcomed those that did. Some more will probably leave as they decide that we aren't a good fit. This is normal as well. Any members of Zodiac that didn't join BK in the merger ceased to be members of IQ when the merger happened so to count them as lost is disingenuous at best and an outright lie at worst. We are used to these kinds of things from the IQ haters out there. Saying that we are "missing" all the people that chose to go a different direction instead of merging into BK is complete bullshit. We can;t be missing people we never had. Please continue tossing the bullshit against the wall though, some of it might stick eventually.

Orange Defense Network To all, I've been getting a lot of questions regarding ODN's war status, so I felt some clarification was needed. On the 24th of March, the Golden Horde hit ODN. From our perspective for no reason, from theirs for a variety of reasons. They claimed we were part of this "IQ" coalition. C'est la vie though, that's life. We were attacked by the Horde. They called the attack a 'mass raid,' but as far as ODN was concerned, this was and remained a war. Multiple waves of attacks sending us to beige and then happening again and again are not a 'raid' in our book. We don't mind dealing with raids, we have lots of respect for raiders. This was not a raid as far as we were concerned (they are welcome to call it what they want). They told us the only way the attacks would end, would be if we cancelled our treaties with NPO. Well no thank you. The day anyone but ODN dictates who ODN can and cannot call friend will be a cold day in hell. In all honesty, besides from apparently our friends in NPO we couldn't even tell you who is in IQ. Certainly we dont consider ourselves in it. I'm sure they are fine folks, and we've got the utmost respect for NPO, but we had no interest in joining the global war and anyone who talked to us could have figured that out. As such, just because the global war has ended, *OUR* war with the Golden Horde has NOT ended. Just as we never intended to go to war with IQ, nor do we intend to declare peace with the Golden Horde simply because a bunch of random other alliances declared peace. Especially not considering how this whole thing started. We are under no delusions. The Golden Horde is bigger than us. They are more experienced then us. They outnumber us. We were attacked when we weren't expecting it and that hit us hard. We have limited resources. I suspect that for every 1 million of damage we do to the Horde, they will do 10 million to us. That's fine. We'll make that trade gladly, week after week. But we will deal damage. And we will not give in. They can smash us into a bloody pulp, crack our skulls, break every bone in our body. Our teeth will still be lodged firmly in their flesh at the end of it. ::Grins:: if nothing else, this will be a nice lesson on ODN's character for the rest of the world. I'm sure there are plenty out there who are better nation builders. Better with war mechanics. More experienced. But we're an ornery stubborn bunch of asses when you rile us up. I suspect TGH will get to see that first hand. There's nothing personal with this. I am looking forward to a long and good war with TGH. Most of them have been fine opponents so far. If I need to be reduced to a smoking pile of rubble, I am glad they will be the ones doing it! But in ODN we have a code of honor we live by. And the real test of such a code is not in easy times, but when facing overwhelming odds. So for everyone asking.... yes ODN considers itself at war with TGH. No we are not peaceing out because IQ did. Yes we intend to have a lot of fun with them on the battlefield. No this war won't be ending anytime soon, no matter how hopeless it is, not until *we* are satisfied that we've gotten what we need.

If someone really wants that information, they can make a spreadsheet with formulas without too much trouble. Unfortunately, with tho per city numbers in the same cell as the total amount, it makes it more difficult to copy/paste the numbers into a spreadsheet and do anything with it.

I never referenced IQ as a whole. I am a simple foot soldier and gave my personal perspective. What I am seeing is a bunch of whining about the terms. I stated in an earlier post my AA was hit with no CB and I believe we should have held Rose for reps. That isn't really feasible in this type of conflict. What is being seen is a bunch of posturing and chest thumping by mostly non-IQ that they were merciful and how bad they were winning and how terrible the terms were. Simply put if you don't like them don't take them. I believe the last part of your post is the most honest thing ive seen posted yet and is probably the closest to the truth that will be posted on these forums.

Well again. We dont consider ourselves part of IQ. We keep saying that, and it doesn't seem to sink in. Maybe this will help. Hell you said 'help your allies in the future, including NPO' but we dont HAVE any allies besides NPO. We're out here on our own on this one ::grins::. That means we have no support to help us, but it also means we are beholden to no one else. Hell, after NPO the alliance we admire the most would probably be Arrgh and we have no ties to them. And why do this? It has to do with why we exist as an alliance. To us its not about global politics or nation building. Again, it may not be the 'right' way to play compared to most alliances... but we aren't most alliances. We care far more for what we view as right and wrong, our code of honor, being able to look ourselves in the mirror.... all that far more for that than we do our stats. Everyone SAYS that. Everyone SAYS "if you mess with us we will war for months." We intend to LIVE it. Words are cheap. Actions show your character. If we let you just hit us for the reasons you did and then rolled over, it wouldn't say anything bad about TGH's character. But it sure as hell would about ODNs. Speaking purely personally, what do *I* want from this war? 1) You all will never admit it publicly. But when I look in your eyes, I want into your heart-of-hearts to know you are going "Yeah, it was probably stupid of us to hit ODN when they were sitting this war out." 2) More importantly, right now I don't sense or feel any particular respect from you all to us. That's fine. Respect has to be earned. By the time this is done, I suspect that (again, even if you won't admit it) your eyes will tell me a different story. ::Grins:: I want you to be going "damn those ODNers may not be xyz.... but they are some crazy ******" You don't have to like us. Think us brilliant fighters. Or savy players. But I *WILL* see that you respect our commitment, integrity, and resilience. And if you don't we will keep fighting till you do. 3) Most importantly. This is more than anything else about *ourselves*. We arent fighting to make you surrender (though you are welcome to surrender to us!) We are fighting for *ourselves*. We don't like how this war happened.... and we wouldn't like what it said about us if we rolled over on it. We see this as an internal test of our character. Can we go the distance. Most importantly at all, this war will end when we can look at ourselves and say "we satisfied our honor. We handled ourselves well. We put EVERYTHING on the battlefield. There wasn't an ounce more effort we could give. Not a dollar more damage we could squeeze out, not a day more we could struggle on. This is our best." I don't care what that is in total damage. Just that we know there isn't an OUNCE left to wring from ourselves. We want to go to that final limit. And we want to see what that limit is. And we want to surpass our expectations of ourselves. Literally my point. I'm centering it on him in my discussion with you, because he's in your alliance and the last time he did it, you said some version of "well, people make mistakes, awww shucks!" That doesn't work twice.

This is the same conclusion that should have been reached like 3 weeks ago. Wars in PW CAN and SHOULD be quick. The outcomes are decided typically within the first 12 days, like it or not. Sheepy even added attrition war to make them faster. If you enjoy war, have shorter wars instead of cold-wars for months on end and then actual wars for month+ long duration. You'll enjoy it more. For those of us who were too big to hit anyone even after getting rid of nearly half my military, it's extremely boring when you drag out wars needlessly among only low-tiers. That's my 2-cents. 'Grats on the "peace" I suppose.

No one within their right mind was after an "easy victory". Maybe some people who are still 'green' in major conflict did, but the vets knew very well this wouldn't be "easy" and I stated this a few times in the coalition chat on our side. As for "tier supremacy", it entirely depends on how you look at it. IQ side had much better tier cohesion in the lower tiers, but our side did have whales that IQ couldn't touch.

It has been many years since our empire was at it's height... Many years since it stretched from the Americas to the Holy Land. In recent years, it has become increasingly hard to maintain an empire stretching across North Africa, the Americas, and the Iberian Peninsula. Due to this, it became necessary to allow for certain regions to have their independence or join in an economic union led by Occitania. As of the year 2010, we were forced back to the Straits of Gibraltar, loosing the majority of Northern Africa and all of our North American holdings as well as Portugal for whatever reason. It is now 2027, and Emperor Jehan VII has declared an end to the state of decline our empire has faced over the passed decades and has given an ultimatum to the former colonies: Submit or die... Only Northern Morocco joined, forcing the Empire to prepare for war. It seems that the years of decline are finally at an end, and with it, a new power shall rise from the ashes of the old world.

1) Hitting you guys was actually one of the smartest things we did this war. The amount of money we took from you guys quite literally funded our wars against the other people we were fighting. I saw one war arcknox looted over 40m from a single war on you guys. 2) You're right, we don't respect you. We don't respect that when we hit you your response was "well have fun, I won't fight back, nothing I can do." Yet now, you get up on your soapbox and preach about how you are fighting until the bitter end and with dignity. There is no "commitment, integrity, and resilience" in rolling over at our blitz. You catch us now, licking our wounds and we still will be able to best you in war, just not to the same degree as before. You couldn't COMMIT to not fighting or fighting, you are jumping between the two now. Your integrity is ever more in question considering you refused to help the only alliance you are tied to when they were declared on - then gasp at the idea that you were hit for being tied to them. Your resilience is maybe the one thing you got going for you, because you had an out just now with the global war being ended, then you opt into staying in a war you know you can't win. Anyone who put their names to this is pathetic. And anyone balking about the duration after signing the last global NAP probably ought to reflect on the precedent they set.

Just as an off hand remark, but recruitment times need to change from base 3/5/6/5 to 3/4/4/4 with the accompanying tweaks in unit numbers and prices. And an across the board damage nerf with a matching drop in attack cost. Basically, make zeroing someone take more actions. Can't fix the playerbase though. That shit's fricked beyond hope.

Hello everyone, let me first apologize for any misspellings or auto corrects. I'm using my phone to write this. I'm going to explain what's going on with P&W and when you can expect things back. So most important is that we've brought ss23 on board to help administrate the game, and he's helped me immensely by working with me to set up a new, more secure sever and transfer things over to that server. You'll notice some things, like the forums, don't look quite right, but they do work! And that's what's most important right now. Ss23 is a lot better than I am with security and technical protocol, and I trust that between him, myself, and Malone we'll be able to prevent any further mischief caused by malicious players in P&W. Next, I'd like to explain my absence these past few days. I'm currently in the middle of moving and temporarily living on a boat with no real internet connection (aside from my phone). Tonight I happened to have a wifi connection at the marina and had enough time to work with ss23 to get the game and forums moved to a new server. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fix all of the issues and get the game live before my laptop died, so you'll have to wait before the game is quite ready to play. I'm estimating about 16 hours before I'll have real good computer access to get things going, but it could potentially be before or after then. It's also important to understand the rollback and why it happened. These past few days a lot of crazy things happened, including a huge leap forward in turns that unfairly disadvantaged one side of a major alliance war. We also had some mischief in the VE alliance more recently. In any case, the rollback is important so that everyone gets a second chance and we do things the right way. I don't want to make the game unfair to anyone, and while things are obviously going to play out differently now than before, everyone will have some time to make plans and prepare and have a fairer shot. Why is it rolled back all the way to 8/27? It's a little farther than I would've liked, but due to some issues I had with the backups it was the most recent available backup that we could use to move the server. I'm sure ss23 knows a lot more about backing up the server than I do, and I trust this will never be an issue in the future. Everyone that purchased credits during this period of time after 8/27 I've already added them to your in-game accounts for you. Anyone who purchased a custom flag or anything of that sort, I apologize but you're going to have to do so again. Anyone new players will unfortunately have to register again, and I've put a notice up on the main page of the website. To sum it all up, we've really doubled down on security and our counter measures against hackers, going so far as to even change servers. I'm actually very excited to see how much we can improve P&W with the help of ss23, and I hope you guys will have the same sentiment. We can really only go upward from here. The game has been rolled back to 8/27, and is currently down for the next approximately 16 hours. I will have it up and ready to go as soon as I am able. Thank you everyone who has understood my difficulties in trying to resolve this matter, and I'm quite pleased with the outcome given the shitty situation that was thrown at me (and the game) and I hope everyone else will be too.
