A Public Apology To GPC From TDU There has been some bad relations between Golden Phoenix Coalition and The Dixie Union recently, and it is undeniably our (TDU's) fault. We attempted to poach one of their members bank in July, and our FA was annoying to them. Mostly due to the lack of communication, GPC was asked for a treaty an unacceptable number of times. Our issues were nearly escalated to war once again due to our FA. The agreement was we (TDU) would pay GPC a total of 300mil, remove the FA member, and post this apology letter. For obvious reasons I will not be naming names so don't ask.

No. No it does not. All wars being the same bland "lol we wanted war" is what makes the community and war more toxic. Because in every instance of war where there is nothing to talk about or argue over, the dialogue on the forums degrades to a combination of stats-related chest thumping, and manufactured semi-OOC drama and/or dumb bullshit that has nothing to do with the game. Why? Because people in these games want drama and entertainment, and they want to be a part of it. When you omit politics from the forums, they'll go looking for their own shit, and it's usually far less polished shit than what you'd have had otherwise. Let roq justify himself. Take down his justification. Go justify your own actions. Find in-game reasons to frick someone up. Do something. Stop being boring.

Don't you have to sell your improvements to sell down? Having them get blown up saves your improvements, especially when it's exclusively from air. This is a very real reason for keeping the infra. From what I can see the only reason you all would want us to sell our infra is to lessen the damage stat padding going on from it. To which is the point of my post in the stats thread about Yarr not being listed on the stats. We're in neither coalition A or B, and shouldn't be accounted for as such. I suppose you could be hoping we'd sell down and more quickly help engage a lower tier front -- but Yarr is not part of your coalition. Our goal is not to slug it out. We are truly retired. Please note I don't speak for Swagrr. They are their own alliance and I wish them the best in however they carry on during this conflict. Yarr's goal is a swift end to our conflict and a return to our retirement beach hammocks.

I'm in town for a day before leaving again. I've noticed Yarr has been added to the coalition stats. This needs to be corrected. Yarr is not apart of this war. You may create a new war stat page for a separate conflict if you wish or at the very least a separate third front, but we are in no way tied to the current war. Your inclusion of our alliance, against our will, is a clear demonstration of this tool being used in a biased manner. The alliances in charge of this stat tracking do not get to control other alliances sovereignty. Yarr is not part of Coalition A, or B. You do not get to force us into a side or a war we are not a part of. Please edit this error.

Furthermore should it be permissible for players to threaten another with reports to moderation for not complying with their wishes. ie: "you'll have to airstrike if you don't want to be slotfilling, which I'll report" <---- a paraphrase of what Roq did actually say to TFP.

Oh, you're probably somewhat correct that just telling people to screw off would be more efficient, but it also fits into what they're saying about a hegemony. Of course the only hegemonic stuff I've seen has been them trying to muscle people into cancellations and other stuff. It's pretty clear they don't care. The soup example would be used to say soup was smaller than them. If just arguing the point makes the community toxic and there is no opportunity for dialogue or exchange of ideas, then it's just going to be war without politics. I meant to respond to this earlier, but I've been busy preparing to move into my college dorm. No one is asking you to give up being the top bloc or even the top alliance nor give us an advantage. As you've seen, minispheres has only resulted in us getting rolled twice. I don't care in which way the balance of power swings just as long as it continues swinging. The problem I have with NPO entering as I've previous explained is that it risks jamming that see saw to one side. The thing we are asking for is a good faith effort to protect the future of the game. The continued slog of bipolarity and extremely long wars just fuels member attrition and the death of alliances, which objectively is unhealthy for the game. As an aside, when ya'll brought in 270 members, that is great for the game. I do hope that they aren't used to further consolidation, but a genuine congratulations on introducing a new community and adding for more potential future dynamics. And this is good motivation for others to follow in bringing in new communities. If you want to attack TKR for doing the same shtick, fine call us out where we err. That's exactly what we're here to discuss. And I know you think we have not changed, but I mean just look at FA department. None of us, @Menhera, @Benfro and myself were here in FA even 3 months ago, and before then only @GoldyHammer and @Nizam Adrienne were responsible for all of our FA. All of us have come with new ideas and we are actively working to change our direction. As for our entrance into this war, well that was clear as day in terms of CB and it was two smaller blocs attacking a much larger bloc. From a meta perspective (which I admit yes wasn't our biggest concern), it was the largest bloc being taken down a notch by two smaller ones which again isn't the worst thing. But it was still fundamental to our political calculus, nonetheless, that we weren't doing something to destabilize the minisphere dynamic. Perhaps, even accelerate it by demonstrating the risk to fledgling blocs like citadel and cov the risks of being in such a large bloc. Again, I'm open to discuss this in good faith, and I admit that TKR is no perfect AA maybe in some ways less so or more so than NPO. I'm willing to admit my/TKR's mistakes, are you? My goal here is to promote these ideals. I'm not asking for blind faith just some willingness for discussion about how we can achieve mutual progress on these goals (whether it benefits you, me or whoever). As for the realpolitik thread of the argument, I do believe that consolidation was large part a cause of CN's death (but you're right that this is mostly from second-hand conversations I've had from the people who were there, so you might know better). But again, consolidation isn't good for the game. One of the best reasons for consolidation is the pragmatic argument. Essentially, why leave the largest blocs if they're going to offer the most protection against being rolled since everyone else isn't enough to take you down. Now, I'm not decrying all instances of pragmatism nor realpolitik, but the times when it devolves into a zero-sum perspective where an actor only views his benefit as someone else's or the community's loss. The rhetoric you use, as in I don't do X because that gives TKR an advantage or Y because that benefits KT, should not be the be-all and end-all. This is what specifically causes frustration to many because it can often fuel decisions that will detriment the game health. The minisphere dynamic helps NPO too. If you're worried about the elites, well your allies in T$ and HS are known for having a few as well besides your own member base. NPO had and has an equal opportunity to leverage its connections. We were all ready to give you a chance despite previous misgivings (which I do believe was a step towards game health). And besides this, in small groupings, you are literally the largest alliance giving you unique operability. I'm just stating this because you guys focus on your weaknesses from this dynamic but never really state your strengths which might be just as strong. Now, the final portion of your statement is what really disconcerts me and I'm sure many others. While I won't place the responsibility fully on NPO, ya'll like everyone else are part of this game, so you have a responsibility to the continuity of it. And your flippant response to many players leaving the game is something I find distressing. The permutations of dynamics and political intrigue is completely dependent on the number of players and alliances. The reason I point out NPO here is because your process of decision-making seems to neglect the impact on the game always in favor or your own priorities even if they're aren't necessarily exclusive. And if you could take back one event during this war that would be most helpful to the game dynamic it would likely be NPO's entry. Then you'd have a growing N$O who likely becomes the top bloc after BK's fall. Citadel and/or cov become independent. Fark is also prospering with its own bloc. Now, the game has 6 or 7, at least, independent blocs. NPO likely still has the advantage perhaps an even greater one unless under some illusion, you seriously think Chaos wants long-term ties with KETOG (no offense to those alliances). Maybe it's not too late, and maybe we can still provide some sort of solution to Orbis. I for one don't want to let enmity between the major alliances result in our failure of saving something that provides us all with an immense amount of fun and enjoyment. I do believe, though, that there is a path forward. Hopefully we find it .

How do NPO conduct transfers then? Honestly I'm not trying to get into an argument with you but there are two opinions on every subject. If you wanted to declare and attack BK nations for loot it would not be against the game rules as they are written, as you are not allies and IQ doesn't exist any longer. The rules need a good re-write involving global wars and interference within that war. As for calling me a moron, that was just uncalled for and frankly childish.

TKR is the cool place to hang out. You can find most of the cool people there. In TKR, you can just chill and do whatever and totally relax. “Take it easy” is the TKR motto, for example, that's how laid back it is there.

I'm not sure if it's just for PR points "ebil NPO" bullshit, but it sounds like a pretty clear cut case here. Those logs that came out would've been plenty enough of a CB. Extremely poor idea for TFP to flex like that. That's not even getting to the warslot issue. When we fought Oblivion and people were jumping our slots, every single war was a potential problem and dealt with.

It's not necessarily a bad thing to bring in hundreds of new players like that, but I question it's benefit to the games health when they all go to not even the same sphere but the same alliance. Which is why as I said on the PW discord, I sincerely hope most of them diaspora either u to their own alliances or across the game to explore the world as it were. Especially if there are more 'waves'.

If you're gonna do that though at least make a sphere of nothing but NPO that still numbers however many at that point.

Among these were NPO’s protectorates such as InfoWars, Goon Squad, and the Black Knights. BK in particular was concerned as they had just finished a massive dogpile against TKR and were caught immediately planning another massive dogpile against TKR. “My lord you must help us contain Chaos”, Leo the Brave and Beautiful leader of BK begged. “They are arguably the 4th, maybe even the 3rd largest sphere in the game and a massive threat to us.” “and why are they fighting you?” Roquentin asked. “Because they found a plan where we said we would fight Chaos and you would hit Keto. Hidden towards the back was Ameyuri the Fox selling her usual illicit goods. As they prepared Queen Adrienne spoke. “Our enemies have reunited.
