  13. It pleases me that a follower of the Sand has destroyed the most planes. The fact that a missile got to his nation, only for his VDS to thwart a nuke half an hour later makes this even better.

  16. Now, I don't know if anyone has noticed, but other than gathering information, killing spies, and spying away nukes, spies are just about useless. Another thing you may have noticed, is that we have a lot of resources. An idea that does both of these? Spies can target resources. For example, if I had 60 spies, which I don't, and @Elijah Mikaelsonhad zero (which he doesn't), I would be able to spy away, at max, 10% of a certain resource (aluminum, Bauxite, whatever). But for a good example, since Elijah has 60 spies, and I have like 20, and he did this on me. He may be able to spy away like 6% of my Gasoline or something (6% of zero is zero, haha), given I had 10k Gasoline, that could be like 600 Gasoline (don't @ me if that math is wrong) out of the game at the cost of like 1 million, which just so happens to be around the money the latest Gasoline price, 1621, multipled by the 600 Gasoline, would cost. Amazing, right? Now, this could be a good war strat. Someone spies them, someone blockades them, and then you start ridding them of their resources. Easy. Please comment your opinions, and tell me off if this effects you in a bad way. Don't @ me. Lmao. (If you can find the original post about this, link me it so I can put it in the next edit. Thank you for being kind. I know that it exists somewhere, I haven't read it, but I know it's there.)

  22. We intentionally left them out of the initial blitz, as well as Blackfyre and The Federation because we didn't have the manpower to cover all of them and wanted to focus the larger alliances and wait for them to counter. If fighting at a numbers disadvantage is "opportunistic" I think you need to whip out a dictionary and brush up on some things. Also the idea we'd hire some random commie alliance to hit you is laughable and its sad you couldn't be bothered to do your due diligence and verify pretty obvious bullshit before you marched your 3 nations into battle. If that is the actual reason you entered, rather than the one we all assumed, that you were protecting your protector, then lmfao u got played by a micro. Anyway carry on being the only salty person on your side I was getting bored of all the nice people anyway.

  28. As the leader of the micro Golden Phoenix Coaliton, we have felt that it should be necessary to create a Micro Affairs subforum. Therefor we can post our poems and drawings from special ed, separate from the top 50 bullies. In all seriousness, we would like one as the micro world and macro world have different politics and would allow those to stop complaining about micros posting unnecessary posts in alliance affairs section when instead we can do it in our section. Micros tend to do crazy things, trust me I've run many (especially to the ground).

  30. What does that matter? We chose not to include your alliances in the main blitz. Why we did it is irrelevant to your claim that we hired some micro to hit you. But if you must know, we did it because it gave us time wear down the main alliances. Which worked if you couldn't tell. As for Ayyslamic Crusade, that war would not have taken place at all had we not signed up. We asked for resources from Abbas because we were a newly formed alliance and had none. We literally would not have been able to participate otherwise. I was intimately involved in the planning and execution of it. Yes exactly, you made no effort to confirm it and took them at their word. That is all well and good, but then you decided to come on here and spout it out as fact. So you opened the door for me to criticise you about it, like you tried to criticise us. Now you are just arguing semantics. I was being sarcastic wit hthe 3 nations comment, and no, you attacked first, and Empyrea countered. Literally noone has contested your right to enter the war. You are arguing a strawman I never made. We EXPECTED you to enter the war. The reason we are argung is because you decided to spout some bullshit about hiring a micro as the REASON you entered rather than just saying you did it because your SK. I'm aware you are a training alliance, I was simplifying. It really makes no difference to my argument if you are a protectorate or a training alliance or an extension or w/e you want to call it. You are the one who came on here and starting spouting bullshit you just admitted you never bothered to verify as fact. That is about as disingenuous as it gets. You need to look in the mirror buddy. I've barely posted since this war started, you decided to drop a bomb and now your crying about it because it blew up in your face. You seem to be living in an alternate reality where everyone is out to get you or some shit. We responded directly to your points but your whining about propaganda and misinformed statements.

  32. Ok, so you're being stupid now. Got it. >10 other alliances >opportunistic You may want to go back and do your research on Ayyslamic Crusade before I edumacate you. And uh... where's your proof that we hired an outside alliance? Why the frick would I hire some random ass micro that I give no !@#$ about to hit you guys? If I wanted to hit Blackfyre, I'd have done so at the get go. I don't need some shitty unknown micro to do it for me.

  36. Two things. 1. a. Who is Deulos? b. Who is The Golden Pheonix? c. Can we get the micro alliance announcements, I thought this was gonna be important? d. Who is the Center of Offbeat alliances? 2. a. This is not, in any definition, a Declaration of Existence. b. Unless! It's the declaration of Existence for the fact that there's a war, so instead of it being (DoE) it should be (DoEFTFTTW). c. How come this isn't Gold (Of Rose) couping Rose? I had my hopes up. d. for all intents and purposes, I have to say that c was a joke, so Zevfer doesn't get mad at me.

  38. Just what I expected, claiming victory on their own because Pantheon won't bow to no one. I stand with Pantheon in peace time, and war time.(Don't declare if you ain't got poo balls to fight - for NR) Now that I realize AA's in The Orbis has been fighting the wrong way, and we didn't know we could just declare a war and claim a victory when most of the enemy targets are in Beige it makes me sad we could have just done that and not lose anything ~Olympian of Military ~Nomi

  42. Hello everyone, Even after doubling our server size recently, we are still struggling with excessive load times due to excessive load on the server. I believe that the source of this excessive load currently is due to heavy usage of the API endpoints. If you are unfamiliar with the game's API, then you can pretty much ignore the rest of this post as it's aimed at API users and will not impact you. First, I understand that the API is poorly designed, poorly optimized, and all around needs to be completely re-done and expanded upon. It's near the top of my to-do list, I am finishing my undergraduate degree this semester and post-graduation I will be spending my time working on the game and will start getting big projects like re-factoring the API done. However, in the meantime, the excessive load on the server is unacceptable. As a result, I am taking a blunt force action to curb the strain on the server until I can set up a proper API system. Beginning at 12:00 AM server time 3/18/2019 all API endpoints will require your API key to work. This should give everyone a few days to get their ducks in a row before the change occurs. There may be bugs as it hasn't been thoroughly tested on all of the pages; if there are report them in the Tech Support subforum and I will have them quickly resolved. API endpoints that already require your API key are not being changed by this update. I am also reducing the number of API requests per user per day. The standard number of calls has been reduced from 10,000 to 2,000 and the number of calls for VIP users has been reduced from 999,999 to 5,000. When the API is refactored this will be changed to a rate limit instead of a daily limit, however I am simply working with the existing interface because I do not have time to rewrite the entire system currently. I understand this is a significant decrease in the number of calls allowed. However, there are 15 API endpoint pages, if you call each of them every 5 minutes every hour per day, that's only 4,320 calls per day, which easily falls within the VIP limit. Realistically, you shouldn't need to call each page every 5 minutes anyway. As-is, the two highest request users are just barely reaching over 2,000 calls per day, with an average of the top 10 users being 764.7 calls, a median of 507, and a range of 1962. I understand not all calls are being recorded here, but the point is that for the average API user this should not be a significant limitation. The point of this update is to curb usage of the API, and by creating a scarcity I am hoping to discourage people from making too many calls and causing ridiculous load times for regular users. Yes, it's a poor fix, but as I've stated it is a temporary solution until I have the time to properly refactor the API. I did not want to have to do this, but it seems to me a necessary sacrifice given the conditions the game is currently operating under. If you have any questions, please ask below.
