  1. ROSE GOES PUBLIC (SNN) - With the revelation of Rose’s recent SEC filings, several wealthy individuals began to speculate about Rose’s next move. Many insiders began to fear for the private run Rose organization created back in 2014. Seeking to reunite with sister company SYNDICATE Inc., a multinational organization located on the Green sphere, Rose has recently announced its intention to launch an IPO and its listing on the NASDAQ. Rose executive and botany specialist J.A. Goldington commented on this recent development, “And so our roots continue to grow and entangle with those we seek to protect. May The Syndicate keep us watered and cared for, and in return our thorns shall protect them from invaders and our petals shall bloom to enrich t$ in both beauty and in grace. May the air be filled with that enticing, sickly sweet scent that only Rose can provide to those who respect and care for her.” On the other side of the negotiating table, Chief Strategic Officer of SYNDICATE Inc., Partisan, had all positive remarks, “$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.” While we wait for more details regarding this new relationship, filings indicate that an MDoAP agreement was reached. Is this just another treaty? Is this the start of something greater? Investors on both sides have been left with too many unanswered questions. All news aside, we are looking forward to working with our new (or long lost) friends! o/ Rose o/ The Syndicate

  7. Typical Pixel Hugger. Any alliance will get "rekt" when you include raiding them with close to full military in your low tier Internal Policy. TKR is using Arrgh as a training bed for their large amount of noobs. Second, Pirates deserve more respect than most pixel huggers in this game. They have more experience in war mechanics than your typical "top" pixel huggers. At least they aren't waiting for their seniors to decide when they fight and how they earn. I myself have hopped between Pixel hugging and raiding quite a lot, and most pixel huggers have no idea what they are doing with the game. I don't see anything wrong in CoS declaring on an unallied one man alliance. It's free money. It's legit target. Please don't use your "moral" excuses. Alex didn't add Looting in war mechanics just for fancy, it's a part of the game. And people are using it. And that's one of the reasons I really don't get pissed at TKR raiding Arrgh. It's all part of the game.

  9. Church of Spaceology, in defence of two of its members, counters the two UPN government members currently attacking them, but won't escalate the conflict further. However: If we see that other UPN nations are mobilizing, we will recognize hostilites. If we see nations ghosting UPN, we will recognize hostilities with UPN and probably with the original alliance of the ghosts. If we see considerable mobilization from UPN's closest allies, we will recognize hostilites with UPN and may get in the sad position of pre-empting the rest. In case a war does break out, the alliance that will lose will have to leave the purple colour block. I hope UPN doesn't really want to change its name, so let's remain calm and let the current wars end in a most natural way. P.S. Thrax asked me to put something silly in between those lines, but nothing comes to mind. Sorry, Thrax.

  21. From the Desk of Uncle Traveling Matt Guide to Fraggle Rock Greetings! We in Fraggle Rock respect both sides of this conflict and wish to see a quick end to all hostilities. We are offering to host any necessary talks between the fueding alliances (we'll even waive our typically host fees). Let's please end this, and return to a world in where Fraggle Rock can jump in, talk about random things, and leave. If war does break out, we in Fraggle Rock fully support Uncle Space. For as much as an ass Thrax is at times, he is also the best at showing how being weird can work out. Socially weird, kinda dim witted, and not great to look at. He knows the sweet spot of the world. Also Daddy Critters doesn't like me coming up empty handed with food....so let's all just step back and let it go. We wish both sides will end this soon. Until then.... We'll be over here in the van where nobody took notice that three guys would stake out the neighborhood in a large white van all day. That never made sense. Not like Omar had an endless amount of vans. If they saw the van, they should of known he was plotting. Sure they burnt the van in season 2 but he got another, in the same color. He's known for white rusted out vans, newports, and carrying a shotgun on city streets. How does nobody see that coming. But Fraggle they did and would call out Omar coming. True but they should have known he was around long before that because he had a van....or that taxi. Who parks a taxi and sits in it for hours? You know what would have been better? Omar on a bicycle. Many hugs Uncle Traveling Matt

  22. 1. Colors API, basic info about colors, like the current name, and the boost. This is pretty useful and makes sense 2. Wars API, like the nations API, but a giant list of all the wars, though it should probably be capped at the last 500 wars or smth. 3. Add date created to nations API, This should be on it because I feel it's part of the basic info of a nation, and also helps out a lot 4. Transactions API, you can go on a nations page and see their transactions anyways, so it would be nice if it was in API form, just a big list of all the recent transactions across all nations. I'm about to start a project that would really benefit from this, downloading every nation's bank transaction page and sifting through it will make me want to die xD 5. why not, a UID API, to look for alts during the low-load times a large list of every UID with all the nations under it, yes I know public networks, but I'm sure we can figure something out/ Don't think much else is needed, anything else that's more specific should just be web scraped tbh. I don't mind web scraping for colors API, but it just feels like it should be a thing. 1. is just a small utility that just makes sense 2. would be immensely helpful 3. simple enough would be a good alternative to sifting through every player page. 4. Maybe a little too OP? But the information is already public, and I would love to use it, would simplify managing IA and stuff alot 5. why not

  32. You don't have a training alliance, so what objective difference is there between a fully trusted and vetted member of TKR and a 'new player'? I fought a lot of TKR that resorted to tactical deletion, VM, or just fell to inactivity, and that is in spite of you guys "winning". Though, I was fighting the subset of TKR that were actually fighting at all, so they were admittedly the more junior members. It's understandable for the losing side to drop members... so what's your excuse?

  33. Krieg, you are kinda putting words in our mouth. No one talked about CoS trying to prove their "innocense". I consider the raid 100% legitimate. If UPN really wants to build a training alliance, they should start by learning themselves how you build a new alliance. Getting a protector for example or trying to keep bad pirates away. The fact that a protectorate treaty did get signed after the raids is a good sign. After the declaration of the raids and when I got online and under contacted me, supposedly it would be decided from our side whether the raid would continue or not. UPN decided to play the "oh my finger slipped card" before doing that and we just answered in kind and set on stone that the original raid would not end with peace. My announcement was posted so that UPN (and allies) would really understand the situation, since UPN had, as they stated, an internal communication failure issue. Since I couldn't rely on a UPN gov member to let the rest of the gov know how things are, I just decided to make all this public and make things easier for them. Also, getting some drama was the side-goal, which is a semi-success. Our members are free to raid unprotected, one-member alliances. If another alliance attacks us, we counter. Yes, we like loots and action. No, we were not trying to bait UPN. Looking at how they handled it, I would go as far as saying that the opposite is the case. No, we don't mind fighting a full scale war. No, we don't find it necessary to fight one. Supposedly, it's still summer vacation. There is nothing more and nothing less to all that. Ah, as Ogaden would say, you can take a pirate from Arrgh, but not Arrgh from a pirate. Do explain to me one day though what "excuses" I needed or used while in Arrgh. Excuse me, but I don't remember!

  34. Here is everything that happened, so you can judge for yourselves: Malal leaves UPN, and creates a one-man, treatiless alliance without description Half a day later, he is raided by three CoS members that see just this: a one-man, treatiless alliance Malal messages me asking for them to stop and saying that he is still UPN and second in comman. I point out he should really work on the alliance description and the treaty web... I wait for the attackers to come back online and discuss the matter. Although I considered the raid-declaration legitimate, the war per se may not have been so. In the meanwhile, UPN sends a protectorate treaty (AFTER the CoS attacks) and launches three suicide counters. Malal messages me saying that UPN wasn't supposed to attack and told them not to do so, but they ignored him! (the second in command?) At this point, I would either have to accept that there was some really huge communication/leadership failure within UPN or that they just made a passive aggressive "oh my finger slipped, I wasn't meant to shoot" move, so that they would press for peace on the raids that were their mistake from the very beginning. And knowing Malal, I am pretty sure the second was the case. After that, CoS countered the nations attacking our guys and we decided to not accept peace. @Kriegskoenig I am sorry if you felt like I challenge your intelligence. But UPN challenged mine first.

  35. @Ripper Do you really think anyone in Orbis is this stupid? We can all see that you raided, got countered, and are now pretending that the counters were unprovoked "attacks." Damn, bro. You have 30 cities. Never thought I'd see an alliance with weight to throw around e-lawyering like a desperate micro. I guess it's true that Arrghians can change alliances, but never lose the micro-raider attitude. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

  37. I won't include TKR/TCW because you already know I'm gonna blow smoke up our own ass. I'll let other people speak for us. I'll focus on internal sides of the alliance, and ignore FA (because everyone already talked about FA and I have nothing new to add). 3. NPO - One of the most consolidated and well ran governments in the game, they have immense discipline as an alliance. 4. Guardian - They have a well ran system of growth, their internals are squeaky clean and they are probably historically the best fighting alliance in the game. 5. Rose - An alliance with an untapped amount of potential. Where they stand right now is not where they want to be, and given time down the line will become a top 5 alliance again. 6. The Syndicate - They are remembered and probably still regarded to as an economic powerhouse. A lot of their other systems leave things to be desired, especially their recruitment alliance, but t$'s econ by itself is godtier. 7. Grumpy - I'd honestly put them as #1, due to the sheer amount of capital they could create by simply existing, but than again they're an elite whale alliance, so they don't have impressive internals because they don't need them. Anybody would love to snatch up Grumpy to their side, and why wouldn't they. 8. Brown Knights - I would've honestly placed them as number 4 if not for the fact that their consistent merges leave their community scattered all over the place, their government constantly having to adapt to each other, and some relatively bad choices for their cabinet. Don't get me wrong, their econ systems are not terrible, their academy is one of the oldest ones existing due to Strum and Yoso, and they are a true competitor when it comes to economical capital. 9. Church of Ripper - Even when you just take a glance at these guys on a sheet, you already realize how beefy they are. They have an immense amount of potential in the future, and if not for older alliances with more experience, they'd be a lot higher on the list. 10. Knights Templar - KT is a good alliance on paper, but is heavily reliant on a few individuals to keep the show rocking. Nevertheless, they are true masterminds when it comes to IA member manipulation, they fight excellently during war, and their community is fanatically loyal. Now that ET is finally gone, they also have an immense amount of potential, and in half a years time will probably creep up on the top 5. 11. BC - A community that is very disciplined, they keep their warchests squeaky clean, their core membership is very impressive for their size. The only thing thing to be desired is better leadership and FA direction/decisions. 12. Acadia - They have the freaking Pigeon, and considering the fact they get rolled every 2 weeks, it's seriously a miracle they're still alive. The fact that they brush it all off and rebuild every time without problems is mind boggling, the amount of effort, discipline and government stability it takes to achieve such a thing is impressive, and they certainly deserve a spot up here. The Pigeon comes back every. single. time. 13. GotG - Seeker's alliance is one I wouldn't have even included here a year ago, but they have come a long way to today. They went from a crappy micro alliance to becoming something relatively good. They keep their tiers squeaky clean, they cause the least drama out of any IQ alliance and their government line up is very consistent. 14. Pantheon - Props to Panth for still being alive. Their bank management is embarrassing, their recent recruitment drive has left them unable to grow their membership and their warchests are terrible. Their raiding policies are a joke considering they raid half the known world and somehow always get away with it without getting rolled. All that aside though, Fist is a great milcom leader, and given another 6 months, Pantheon will most likely become a relatively influential alliance again. As it stands, it's a miracle they're alive, or more so that they're in the top 10, so they deserve to be included. Honorable Mentions (Not top 20): Polaris - An Alliance that shouldn't even be regarded to as a top 20 alliance, but be remembered as IQ's pubic hair. The fact that their old guard leadership wouldn't step down for years is just a testament to how fricked up and annoying it must be to be their government member. What's more important though, is the fact that people like Eva, Krieg and Phoenix stuck around with them for such a long time and are finally getting a grip on their alliance. If they continue and stay in Polaris' cabinet, Polaris might actually be regarded as something decent in the future, so props to them. House Stark - An alliance that also has an immense amount of potential. I have said at least 50 times that I'd love to be able to experiment as their High Gov of IA. Their membership is awesome, their leadership is incredibly friendly and know what they're doing. They're an alliance that has always lacked titans in Econ and IA. It's truly a shame they're not already in the top 10. TGH - I mean their whole inception is something to be clapped at. Buorhann pulled stragglers from all corners of Orbis and formed an alliance that Fought IQ and TKR in it's first opening months. They have Sketchy, the Econ mastermind, Shiho and Alkaline, both incredible gov members. I could fight TGH for 30 years every day and I would still always respect their internal affairs and econ. If TKR buckled up and left the game, they'd be the place I apply to work as High gov of IA.

  43. Your description is entirely right (so much so that even I can make jokes about it.) Nevertheless, I would argue that under the previously opined definition of PnW relevancy, the ease with which I can be rolled is a function more of convenience than relevancy, thus myself and Acadia are still, blissfully, irrelevant. I won't be given importance that easily. ? Also, and this is a question for the crowd, is Relevance Score the new Dynamism Points? Asking for a friend.
