  2. To be honest, I have been disappointed with Grumpy's training alliance, the guys that we have been getting seem to know less and less about the game than they should. So could the rest of you do a better job training your members so that when they come to us, they actually have a clue.

  3. In my experience, alliance trade offers aren't used very often. This could be just my alliance but I suspect it is true for most. One of the reasons is that it's on its own page. It's hard for it to reach a critical mass of people posting and accepting offers because people rarely look at it. My suggestion is to show your alliance's trade offers on the global trade offers page. It could be marked as an alliance offer. Even for alliances where the alliance market is used, this would make it more convenient.

  5. Application denied, your city set up is so terrible that you cant even power your first city? Sure you have 42 so I would understand if you didn't notice that city 38 wasn't powered, but its city #1! you see it every single time. Even worse you have 8.5 trillion dollars, and you still don't have power in your first city. Also, why are you holding onto 8.5 trillion dollars? Its a huge waste not to use that cash to reinvest into your cities, or you know... buy another 40-50 cities.

  8. I'm going to descend from on high to grace your existence with some actual knowledge. Based on your performance in this thread, eS did nothing for you except give you an inflated, undeserved sense of accomplishment. Having cities doesn't mean you're better than someone. Having more money or resources doesn't mean you're better than someone. Your behavior hearkens to my point about protectorates, if you coddle new and growing players or alliances to much, you are a prime example of what you're left with. You need to get punched in the mouth. I don't mean a personal attack here, I mean in game, your nation. Everyone has a plan until they're punched in the mouth. Reputation is what matters here. How you carry yourself is what matters. Kastor is known to be untrustworthy with bank access years after what he's done. I turned down an applicant based on his actions in the recent KT/TGH vs TKR sphere war. I'm regularly given shit for leaving the game in the manner I did. True power in these games is your ability to control the political tide. You can do that from on top of the sphere mountain, you can do that with a reputation built on over a decade in these sort of games, you can do that with the proper motivation and skill without needing to invest as much as some of the monolithic political figures in the game. You, Itachi, can do none of this. You come off as a petulant child. Some trust fund kid who had an easy up bringing and was coddled by his betters. Instead of using this advantageous position to actually become a better player, you developed a chip on your shoulder. A chip that isn't deserved. I checked if you were in gov in Syndicate, Itachi. If you were in a position of even remote authority, and Syndicate wanted to work with my alliance, your presence alone would cause me trepidation at such an idea. That's how poor you are in regards to political capital. Your presence in an alliance is a liability. You make your alliance weaker for being apart of it. If you were in a training alliance worth anything, you would know what actually matters in these games. Pixels can be burned, Itachi. Clinging to them makes you weak. Boasting about them makes you weaker. All you've done in arguing for eS's superiority is given the perfect example in their failures, and why the original criticisms towards the alliance are actually valid. You've proven the point you were trying to fight against by your own actions. Take this as an opportunity to learn the appropriate time to shut your fricking mouth. Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversations, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth.

  9. "hurr durr my pee pee is bigger than ur pee pee" The only thing you're vastly superior at is dodging wars and sleeping through the last year and a half of this game. Accumulating a big stockpile for doing nothing for this long doesn't come as a surprise. I wouldn't brag about it if I were you. From the points you raised, you also seem to lack general knowledge of the game, and more specifically war, since you've apparently never been in one. Luckily, you have Partisan back in charge so I'm sure that will soon change at some point. Perhaps then, with more experience under your belt you can raise more valid points, otherwise you're just showing lack of understanding how this game works.

  10. @LeotheGreat @Roquentin @Ripper @Memph @Prefonteen @Dynamic You are fart factory, slug-slimed, sack-of-rat-guts-in-cat-vomit, cheesy, scab-picked, pimple-squeezing finger bandage. A week old maggot burger with everything on it and flies on the side! And your alliances stink.

  11. I won't include TKR/TCW because you already know I'm gonna blow smoke up our own ass. I'll let other people speak for us. I'll focus on internal sides of the alliance, and ignore FA (because everyone already talked about FA and I have nothing new to add). 3. NPO - One of the most consolidated and well ran governments in the game, they have immense discipline as an alliance. 4. Guardian - They have a well ran system of growth, their internals are squeaky clean and they are probably historically the best fighting alliance in the game. 5. Rose - An alliance with an untapped amount of potential. Where they stand right now is not where they want to be, and given time down the line will become a top 5 alliance again. 6. The Syndicate - They are remembered and probably still regarded to as an economic powerhouse. A lot of their other systems leave things to be desired, especially their recruitment alliance, but t$'s econ by itself is godtier. 7. Grumpy - I'd honestly put them as #1, due to the sheer amount of capital they could create by simply existing, but than again they're an elite whale alliance, so they don't have impressive internals because they don't need them. Anybody would love to snatch up Grumpy to their side, and why wouldn't they. 8. Brown Knights - I would've honestly placed them as number 4 if not for the fact that their consistent merges leave their community scattered all over the place, their government constantly having to adapt to each other, and some relatively bad choices for their cabinet. Don't get me wrong, their econ systems are not terrible, their academy is one of the oldest ones existing due to Strum and Yoso, and they are a true competitor when it comes to economical capital. 9. Church of Ripper - Even when you just take a glance at these guys on a sheet, you already realize how beefy they are. They have an immense amount of potential in the future, and if not for older alliances with more experience, they'd be a lot higher on the list. 10. Knights Templar - KT is a good alliance on paper, but is heavily reliant on a few individuals to keep the show rocking. Nevertheless, they are true masterminds when it comes to IA member manipulation, they fight excellently during war, and their community is fanatically loyal. Now that ET is finally gone, they also have an immense amount of potential, and in half a years time will probably creep up on the top 5. 11. BC - A community that is very disciplined, they keep their warchests squeaky clean, their core membership is very impressive for their size. The only thing thing to be desired is better leadership and FA direction/decisions. 12. Acadia - They have the freaking Pigeon, and considering the fact they get rolled every 2 weeks, it's seriously a miracle they're still alive. The fact that they brush it all off and rebuild every time without problems is mind boggling, the amount of effort, discipline and government stability it takes to achieve such a thing is impressive, and they certainly deserve a spot up here. The Pigeon comes back every. single. time. 13. GotG - Seeker's alliance is one I wouldn't have even included here a year ago, but they have come a long way to today. They went from a crappy micro alliance to becoming something relatively good. They keep their tiers squeaky clean, they cause the least drama out of any IQ alliance and their government line up is very consistent. 14. Pantheon - Props to Panth for still being alive. Their bank management is embarrassing, their recent recruitment drive has left them unable to grow their membership and their warchests are terrible. Their raiding policies are a joke considering they raid half the known world and somehow always get away with it without getting rolled. All that aside though, Fist is a great milcom leader, and given another 6 months, Pantheon will most likely become a relatively influential alliance again. As it stands, it's a miracle they're alive, or more so that they're in the top 10, so they deserve to be included. Honorable Mentions (Not top 20): Polaris - An Alliance that shouldn't even be regarded to as a top 20 alliance, but be remembered as IQ's pubic hair. The fact that their old guard leadership wouldn't step down for years is just a testament to how fricked up and annoying it must be to be their government member. What's more important though, is the fact that people like Eva, Krieg and Phoenix stuck around with them for such a long time and are finally getting a grip on their alliance. If they continue and stay in Polaris' cabinet, Polaris might actually be regarded as something decent in the future, so props to them. House Stark - An alliance that also has an immense amount of potential. I have said at least 50 times that I'd love to be able to experiment as their High Gov of IA. Their membership is awesome, their leadership is incredibly friendly and know what they're doing. They're an alliance that has always lacked titans in Econ and IA. It's truly a shame they're not already in the top 10. TGH - I mean their whole inception is something to be clapped at. Buorhann pulled stragglers from all corners of Orbis and formed an alliance that Fought IQ and TKR in it's first opening months. They have Sketchy, the Econ mastermind, Shiho and Alkaline, both incredible gov members. I could fight TGH for 30 years every day and I would still always respect their internal affairs and econ. If TKR buckled up and left the game, they'd be the place I apply to work as High gov of IA.

  12. September 4th, 2018. A day that will sink in my heart, a day that I will remember. Today marks the end of the 3rd Golden Phoenix Coalition. The most successful of its dynasty lasting 7 months before it's death. I would like to thank my great government members who worked hard and impressed me, expect for Pedites Magn, the reason this post has been made. I would like to thank my allies and friends who supported GPC. I would like to thank Dark brotherhood, Lordaeron, Acadia, and The band of the Hawk, for protecting GPC at one point of its lifetime. I would like to thank people who critized me and gave hate towards me, for helping me improve and to give me a reason to never give up. This ending of the Golden Phoenix Coalition isn't me giving up on making a strong alliance, it's a step I must take to improve. I shall settle in my new home, my new alliance. I want to thank you all who were there by my side. Now here lies the Golden Phoenix Coalition for the last time. RIP.

  17. I've been out of the game for a while, so I didn't contribute to this thread about the relevance of alliances. However, I can contribute to the relevance of @Itachi. And what I would say would simply mirror the words that @Prefontaine has already spoken. There is a time for hubris, and there is a time for silence. Learn from this and move on young one.

  19. Jesus you blew up over night so fast that I missed the last 2 pages of your posts lol. Yes, whether your training alliance leaves more to be desired or not is entirely different to each person. It's an opinion. You're free to call TKR's Academy as bad as you want. This is what the thread is all about. Don't come after me with ad hominems because you can't take criticism. @Prefontaine I'm sorry that such a good thread turned into such a pile of steaming dogshit lol. Let's just go back to doing alliance relevance, I believe a lot of other people have things to add to the conversation.

  21. You forgot CoS, cus' according to that paperless treaty web we're allies. Also who has a top tier in IQ? Acadia and NK? I've fought Acadia a few times and they're painfully bad. Is NK going accuse me of starting this sphere war because of my alleged perma grudge against Alpha? FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON DRAGON BALL Z Also, I see we're at the standard "everyone speculate on what's going to happen and some people take it as fact" stage of sphere tensions.

  22. You can respond to criticism without being ridiculously aggressive. Calling the people you're responding to 'mentally inept' and saying that they're 'being an (censored profanity)' is above and beyond what was necessary. To your credit, you actually did a good job being more chill with your response to me. Try to be more chill in the future. It's inevitable that people will throw shade at you or your alliance. If you respond, then it'll do you and those alongside you much better to respond calmly and with some grace. You can be firm and trash talk back, but there's a line between throwing shit back when it's deserved and just sperging out.

  23. There is literally no reason to get this heated over what Radoje said. There are valid criticisms of training alliances, which is why most have failed. I'm sure The Enterprise is fairly successful, as t$ is a very high-quality alliance, but it's kinda embarrassing for an official in The Enterprise to be responding this way to what is - by your own admission - a 'cheap, half-thought-out jab'.

Okay Retard goes on about how T$ Sphere: Hold my beer while I go and punch that big guy right in the face, to hide the fact that we are actually going to punch that other big guy in the face! Everyone reading this shit. ^ And no, for those of you saying I'm a part of this bullshit smokescreen trash, you're dumb. IT doesn't take a genius to actually figure this war shit out.

  31. @Ripper Do you really think anyone in Orbis is this stupid? We can all see that you raided, got countered, and are now pretending that the counters were unprovoked "attacks." Damn, bro. You have 30 cities. Never thought I'd see an alliance with weight to throw around e-lawyering like a desperate micro. I guess it's true that Arrghians can change alliances, but never lose the micro-raider attitude. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

  32. From the Desk of Uncle Traveling Matt Guide to Fraggle Rock Greetings! We in Fraggle Rock respect both sides of this conflict and wish to see a quick end to all hostilities. We are offering to host any necessary talks between the fueding alliances (we'll even waive our typically host fees). Let's please end this, and return to a world in where Fraggle Rock can jump in, talk about random things, and leave. If war does break out, we in Fraggle Rock fully support Uncle Space. For as much as an ass Thrax is at times, he is also the best at showing how being weird can work out. Socially weird, kinda dim witted, and not great to look at. He knows the sweet spot of the world. Also Daddy Critters doesn't like me coming up empty handed with food....so let's all just step back and let it go. We wish both sides will end this soon. Until then.... We'll be over here in the van where nobody took notice that three guys would stake out the neighborhood in a large white van all day. That never made sense. Not like Omar had an endless amount of vans. If they saw the van, they should of known he was plotting. Sure they burnt the van in season 2 but he got another, in the same color. He's known for white rusted out vans, newports, and carrying a shotgun on city streets. How does nobody see that coming. But Fraggle they did and would call out Omar coming. True but they should have known he was around long before that because he had a van....or that taxi. Who parks a taxi and sits in it for hours? You know what would have been better? Omar on a bicycle. Many hugs Uncle Traveling Matt

  33. I mean I know YOU already know this, but for the less Roqtastic individuals, yes. We are in the post-dynamism stage, where everything is so dynamic it seems like nothing is happening except people whining about nothing happening. It's 4d dynamism, and it's the most relevant game in town.
    1 point
  34. Your description is entirely right (so much so that even I can make jokes about it.) Nevertheless, I would argue that under the previously opined definition of PnW relevancy, the ease with which I can be rolled is a function more of convenience than relevancy, thus myself and Acadia are still, blissfully, irrelevant. I won't be given importance that easily. ? Also, and this is a question for the crowd, is Relevance Score the new Dynamism Points? Asking for a friend.

  36. "Hey have I told you guys how TGH has spent the majority of its time since formation fighting wars? That's pretty cool right, I'm sure I haven't mentioned it before. Because you know that most of the alliances just like to sit on their asses and not do anything, not like us who fight many wars against the biggest coalitions in the game. That us being TGH, a very tough war alliance, of course. Hi, by the way. My name is Buorhann, I lead a really cool alliance that fights a lot of wars and does stuff called TGH! You probably haven't heard of us, but we fight a lot of wars, spend a lot of time doing it too, unlike all those other alliances who only like to sit around and not fight long wars like we do. Hey, have I told you guys about the last war we fought it, it was very recently and very long too! We're good war fighters, if I do say so myself, haha" Never change Buor ?

  37. Top 20 without all the inflated score looks more like: As for who is most relevant. 1. NPO or BK (depends on who you consider to be the leader of IQ) 2. TKR 3. The Syndicate 4. Rose (and rapidly falling) 5. KT 6. TEst (Assuming they do anything) And that is it. TCW belongs to TKR Pantheon and Guardian belong to t$ GotG, Polaris and Acadia belong to IQ. Bad Company belongs to Vanguard who belongs to IQ. So like, bottom rung IQ now. GOB can't hit anyone now that SA is all in VM. TFP will just help Guardian (t$) or Rose SK idfk The Enterprise literally is t$ CoS hasn't done anything since formation because Manthrax is a coward. Maybe Ripper will change that but we'll see. Not that relevancy matters much when everyone sits on their hands.

  39. Who bragged about pixels? I didn't brag about myself at all, actually. So you can chalk up your entire wall of text as a waste of time on your part. However, every point that I made stands. You're welcome to find yourself so superior, as you are clearly the one having a superiority complex here, however its a rather disgusting trait to have. If you'd like to have a proper conversation instead of attempting to sound like... whatever it is you sound like, I'd welcome it. I don't believe I ever, not a single time, boasted about my own accomplishments. I don't believe we ever coddled the members of ES either. Everything you just said has literally NO basis grounded in fact, it's all just pointless rhetoric. I never claimed to be a master of the game, never claimed to anything on my part actually. But go ahead, you're clearly not the type to get caught up in those pesky facts, right? Also notice how the adult didn't stoop to the level you did, with the baseless insults. I honestly pity you, you must have had a rather miserable existence to have become so petty and bitter.
