My guy most alliances in-game are capitalist lmao.

I started this game as a fun thing to keep myself and my friends occupied at work/home. Hours turned into Days, Days turned into months and months turned into a year. Now I find my nation at roughly 620 days old. I've been in many alliances. Avengers, Camelot, The Blitzers, and Error 404. I've made many friends and enemies. Don't know what else to say. Im not going to jump into the ooc politics that this thread has devolved into quickly, as I dont think this is the place, but I have to agree with you completely. Not in the regard that there is too many alliances with communist policies/ideologies, I dont really have an issue with alliances being communist per se, but the ones whos names are just different combinations of the words "United, soviet, socialist, commune, nations, republics" are just bleh, They lack any form of creativity or originality. I dont have an issue with communist alliances like ASM, atleast not on their theme, but there are too many alliances where the extent of their theme is "I'm communist, my name is USN#83, I will not merge with the 82 other USNs"

I agree, not only is communism extremely dangerous but also the word 'Soviet' most commonly refers to a nation who's most famous ruler was a genocidal psychopath who killed specifically those who were Jewish, Polish, basically anyone who wasn't Russian, that person in question was obviously Stalin, I personally believe that glorifying these people and their legacies is sick and should he against the game rules, but that's for sheepy to decide

Well, the time has come, I haven't really spoken to this about anyone, however my time in Orbis has come to an end, If you dont really know who I am / or havent really met me you don't really need to read beyond this. (not exactly a major figure) So for those of you who know me, I won't go into details on my departure here, but feel free to dm me on discord if you want. For a Nation over 1120 days old, I've had much less of an impact then many others, but like to believe I have also left my mark, Starting out in Pantheon, I wasn't really involved in much, and was happy to rule my nation and essentially be a pawn of war, However as panth's gov collapsed and split in two, I left to forge a new Path, this is where my farewells begin, General Farewells First, to all current members of Brotherhood Family I would like to apologise for my sudden departure, you took me in after a long period of absence from the game, and gave me a home once more, I am extremely grateful for this and I wish you all the best for the future. To all former members of Dual Suns, I guess this is also an apology. First sorry for leaving as suddenly as I did, as I am about to do to Brofam i guess, During my time of absence before returning and Joining brofam, despite still being in the discord server, i did not notice its governmental struggles and collapse following the departures of high-gov members that shortly followed mine. Unfortunately we shall never know what would have happened if i had returned before such struggles, and for that i am sorry and to round it off, to all former members of the Felgrand Order, I thank you for joining my little alliance in the first place, allowing it to grow from 1900 score to over 62000 by the time of the alliance's merge. But also allowed it to grow into a great community aswell. You could couple it with pollution maybe. Polluting above a certain threshold means some land becomes unusable, similar to how actual pollution irl works. But i'm all for providing fleshed out ideas and having people vote on those first instead of just "land changes yes or no" without actual proposals on how it'd look like. The community has endured a lot of sudden, messed up changes that upended the meta overnight so buying a cat in a bag like this isn't really appealing to many.

I dislike this idea greatly. With the coding that has existed for 6 or 7 years, it has been so land was a safe investment that couldn't be destroyed or stolen. For this reason, some people, I included, have spent tens of billions over half a decade in something that you could keep and not lose. Making land destroyable/lootable is equal to being able to steal cities. If a change like this was to be implemented, you might aswell make a new game instead. I am glad so many think like I and the voting is heavily balanced towards no.
