  2. The Outlaw Fox Returns to Become King From the ashes of Nova’s Cheat day many of former members of Nova Riata sailed off to new lands, scattering themselves across Orbis. Some formed their own fragments and remained independent, others find new homes in the many alliances of Orbis, either fighting in the wars that plague the land, or prospering under peace and neutrality. Some, unfortunately, are gone forever from the world of Orbis, to never return . Nova Riata became effectively a cautionary tale in the hearts of all the former sea barons. Today I stand before you all pledging to build a new Kingdom, remembering the community Nova created and vowing to bring that back to Orbis. Many things will be different though, chief among these are that we’ve learned from our past mistakes, we learned to question things that are too good to be true, we will not be bringing back the lies and exploits of my predecessor. There’s a true value of building through hard work and skill rather than through cheap exploits. So, from the ashes of Nova, a small group of sneaky foxes, Pokemon training beans, bovine slavs, angry red bearded men, and bagel boilers all unite in a new land to call their home, determined to rebuild all that was taken away Ríocht Sasana Rises Our Discord (Click Here) MDoAP with Manhattan Project Tl;Dr? 3. Now, I am a member of Empyrea. To those of you who know me, yes, I too am surprised that I'm still in Empyrea. But I've been doing the deed. I've gotten more information than anyone could have ever expected from a small little orange like me. I've been in many alliances, and I know lots of people. So, let's talk about some of the juicy information that I have... Let's firstly talk about my conversation with Leo (from BK). I had a nice conversation with Leo, we talked about Mcdonalds, how I order the number three (double quarter pounder, large fries, and a large coca-cola) and he orders, well, not that. And, that conversation spiraled until we were talking about unimportant things. Like, we talked about his fear that the Commonwealth would still be existing after this war. He told me about he wanted Camelot to merge into them already (cause they were taking forever.) I would drop logs, but you know, apparently it's not good etiquette to do that. I'll have to ask Aragorn if I can. Following on suite, I had a fun conversation with Gorge of BK. We started talking about the next server we should raid (for fun and stuff) and then we slowly ended up talking about the boring. Like how Black Knights was barely edging out the competition in raws produced. I still have no clue how much raws they produce, but as Gorge said "There's nothing like raw meat in the morning. I like to beat it too." Oddly enough, the next conversation topic was Keshav. No clue if there's a correlation there, but I think it was just a coincidence. After that, I went to talk to Kevanovia from Soup Kitchen. We talked about how the rap industry was evolving before dialing back up to the war. He said that after the war, that not only would Soup Kitchen be merging into the Knights Radiant, but so would Solar Knights, and Seven Kingdoms. Apparently, the three different incarnations of "SK" have chosen to become KR. I think that they may have gone to KT, but they didn't like the reputation that it bad. It wasn't racist enough (or something like that.) Either way though, we ended our conversation on a high note, we talked about his radio place, forget what it's called, but he has one. Next up, I talked to the Lord of Soup himself, Souparmon. When I say lord of Soup, I mean, like a joke about his name... I don't mean like, the lord of Soup Kitchen... Got it? Good. He told me that after this war, Fark and their minisphere, would start protecting Camelot. He also told me that Brotherhood of the Clouds will be protecting them. Don't ask me how that works. But, we started talking about more important things after that. We learned that I have a strict adoration for spaghetti, and he has an addiction to soup. I also, with or without his consent, agreed for the both of us that spaghetti was better. Something else to mention, which is possibly more important than the other two, is that he said that Fark would get involved in the war... if the war lasted until 2021. I hold out hope that we will eventually see Fark join the war. However, we're going to have to set our timers in the mean time. Next conversation I had was with Keshav. I would like to talk more about my conversation with Keshav, but we were supposed to talk more at 8, and it's now 10. I think he missed our scheduled programming, so he'll most likely show up later. I will keep you updated. For now, let's have Mrbooty's segment now. I started a conversation with MrBooty, and he told me all about how Rose was great and stuff. And then we talked more about....sorry, that's all the time we have for Mrbooty. Either way, I had an enlightening conversation with Frawley. He told me that he was, in fact, not going to care about the money I owe him, nor vice versa. It's baseball money. He also, strangely enough, embargoed me. I don't know what I did this time, but I now live in continual fear of having wronged Mr. Frawley. Please send help, in any way, shape, or form. Onto a different matter, after messaging several of my favorite alliance leaders (the ones I don't talk to much) I noticed that Adrienne is the main one not to respond to me. Aragorn responded, SRD responded, Roquentin responded, I mean, no one ignored me... the last time you responded to one of my dms was October of last year... did I wrong you? WAIT! We have a transmission... We did it boys. Adrienne finally responded to me, mwahahha! It's been... it's been a year in wait, but we did it. It's a time for celebration. How will we celebrate? Let's do the normal way of celebrating. Let's message... get this, Smith and Gorge, and say it's time to make my forum alliance happen.. For well over a year, I have had the forum alliance of "TKR's love child with IQ" I've waited with baited breaths, waiting for the moment to occur. Anyway, welcome to Empyrea. We are the protectorate of BK and TKR. We proudly protect TGH. And we acknowledge the existence of KT, but we still want to war them... PS. End this war so Empyrea can stomp out KT for one round. Vive la révolution

  5. On this day at 10:36 pm Orbis time, The Boys resigned from further conflict against the GOONS, with a ceasefire agreed upon following the compliance of several terms which were agreed upon and executed by TB. We at TB look forward to peace and the possibility of further relations between us and the GOONS in the future. Thanks everyone! Sorry for wasting your time with micro affairs lol.

  8. Years ago t$ created Treasure Island, an alliance that accepted members from various alliances of the $indisphere, I think it was around 300 players and back then we had like half of the nations we have now, in that way they had a lot of treasures (over 10 for sure) in the same alliance and everyone got a huge bonus from treasures (back then the treasure bonus was higher if you had many treasures in the same alliance) I remember t$, Mensa, Guardian, Chola and Cornerstone who are now merged into BK, t$ protectorates + some other alliance and random players TKR didn't joined because was a sort of abuse of the game mechanics and we had like 6-7 treasures for ourselves so is not like we had problems After complains Alex changed the rules and lowered the treasure bonus, the alliance was then disbanded and players returned to their original alliances -This post was sponsored by Casimir

  9. And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack. And you may find yourself in another part of the world. And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile. And you may find yourself in a beautiful house with a beautiful wife. And you may ask yourself, "Well, how did I get here?" Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down. Letting the days go by, water flowing underground. Into the blue again after the money's gone. Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground. And you may ask yourself, "How do I work this?" And you may ask yourself, "Where is that large automobile?" And you may tell yourself, "This is not my beautiful house" And you may tell yourself, "This is not my beautiful wife." Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down. Letting the days go by, water flowing underground. Into the blue again after the money's gone. Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground. 10. frick yea, welcome back Ogaden. Let's do more piratey stuff this time around. Oh and for those imbeciles here, this isnt meant to be a TI post. It is a post which signifies the (founder?) of Arrgh, the guy with the most DoW posts and the one to fight the most alliance wars in Orbis is back in-game and shall be poached to ET.

  11. I've said it before, I'll say it again, PnW needs a finite resource to fight over. Zero sum games are way funnier than infinite boring resource games.

  12. Well here it is, the moment no one was waiting for besides us: The Regiment, lead by Simmons and myself, is publicly announcing its existence for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with shamelessly advertising our alliance in all of the news servers that have the RSS bot. And yeah, we know the reputation of our group ain't exactly the greatest, but this time round we're gonna learn from our mistakes and do the best we can to put the past behind us. This is starting to sound like TDU's DoE, but this time we are running things quite differently such as having a strong professional econ policy, or not letting our neighbors hold the alliance while its leaders go build. This time our goal it to be that alliance that leaders would leave their alliance to a "trusted" person to go build in. To anyone out there who might by some remote chance want to join us, if you can't follow orders don't bother applying, but of you can you'll go a long way. Also, we got a couple more related things on the way. Here's some links if anyone needs them: Page: https://politicsandwar.com//alliance/id=6081 Discord: https://discord.gg/5D4QM9M Ill build us a wiki page here soon.

  14. Part 1 can be found here Problem: Improvements rarely get destroyed in cities. Nations whom operate at a low infra level while fielding large armies are able to fight for long periods of time without much monetary risk of nation damage while still operating at higher improvement levels. These improvements can be used to mine or refine resources that the city's infra levels should not be able to support. Solution: Damage Roll-over. The current damage formula for infrastructure damage caps at 1/2 of your total infra plus 50. What that means is if you have 1,000 infra in a city, and that city is attacked, the most infra you could lose in that city is 550. However it is very easy to kill more than 550 infra in a single attack, be it through a nuke, navy, or bombing. Lets say I was planning to attack that city with 400 ships, and my max damage was around 1200 infra. I spend a large amount of gas/ammo to launch the attack and I get a decent roll and do 1100 infra damage, but the cap system reduces it to 550, effectively losing me 550 possible infra damage. This is where the damage roll-over come into play. For this extra damage I destroy improvements. If we go by 50-1, that would mean I would destroy 11 improvements in that city. If we go 75-1 that would destroy 7 improvements. 100-1 I would destroy 5 improvements. Whichever ratio you'd want to go with works. In a long conflict eventually almost all cities in a nation fighting back at low infra would be forced to operate around the infra levels they are currently sustaining. Notes: These damage ratios can be tweaked for different units. Since nukes are devastating to buildings perhaps they have the most favorable output on damage overflow to improvements lost. It would give purpose to nuking a city with 700 infra. As air is an overpowered unit already (the only unit which can attack other units that cannot attack it back) the output on the damage overflow should be the worst by far. Damage overflow from ground attacks could gain you infra perhaps.

  18. Only for now. There are 5 days to go through without beiging. I never claimed I "won" all of my wars. Sometimes you have to ignore a couple of battles for more profitable ones. However, in regards to those NPO battles, I may just ignore those. Still debating on that. It's not like you can keep me pinned down while I go on the offensive elsewhere.

  33. The Hidden cost of winning! Thank you for acknowledging that we are wining Sir and of course it will cost us... its a war! the only good coming out of this similar posts about "oooh Collation B members are doing as bad as we are doing" is just a hit list i make from nations who are bragging about the amount of money they make or the loots they are taking, and then I just attack them and kill their soldiers (8 million soldiers so far) and take their money (2 billion loot and counting). I wish this war never ends because as an average 18th city player in peace time i was making like 3m a day (damn Gorge with his taxes) but now i just deposit all kinds of resources i take from you guys to my alliance bank on weekly bases (just deposited 150k food from last week). My revenue is positive despite military upkeep because i don't have to be at max planes and i just do ground attacks with only soldiers without ammunition. this can't get any better why should we peace out?! And for those of you who think its just him not the whole collation i quote a post @alyster made: KERCHTOG total loot so far 170.773B, Coaliton B 78.615B. Today is 26th of August. Lets see how it changes. Well today is 13th of September and we made 5B loot more than you guys so no worries. But I'm just a average Roq sheep and BK slave so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.

  34. Just addressing the TCW/MC mentions: I supported Mend because they needed help after NPO attacked them and I had Banking deals with them, so I requested NPO (And Coal b) leave them alone. Regarding FARK, I or my gov have no problems with them. The break up of Fark/MC was simply an unfortunate situation which was caused by personalities clashing and things said in the heat of the moment.

  35. what kind of reasoning is this "Annoying"? if you're pinned and 5 days are up then wait for login bonus tear down the city to what infra can support and go declare really low and inactives which will give you money, rinse and repeat. As for this new player/alliance problem, this is an unintended benefit. We'll have less alliance which is poorly run and hopefully treaty web mess is reduced. The one who can still run an alliance by then would have fairly good experience and has connections so they won't get bothered even if the global is ongoing.
