So in general this nationsim lacks any competitive feature. This has been a blessing and curse in many ways. I think now that we're a few years into things, we need something to introduce competition. The problem has been, as with treasures, that any strategic resource worth having would confer too large of a bonus on the winners of wars. So the question was how to make this work without creating a stupidly powerful hegemony as a result. My pitch: Resource X. Resource X randomly spawns in various nations across the globe - much as treasures do. Each nation can possess up to 100 units of resource X. Losing a war loses half of your stockpile of X, rounded up to the nearest whole number to the winning nation. How Spawning Works: X will respawn like a treasure every 6 months. No nation will receive more than 1 unit of X upon reset and it's randomly distributed amongst all active non-VM nations. Benefits of possessing X: Your monetary income and production increase by 0.25% for each unit of X you possess. (maxes out at a 25% bonus.) Downsides of possessing X: Your military takes 2% more casualties per attack for each unit of X you possess. (maxing out at 200% more casualties per attack). Possessing any amount of X on your nation increases the score range other nations can declare on you by 25%. Can you trade for it?: No. Wars only, big boy. Alliance-wide effects of X: For every unit of X within an alliance, the monetary income of their top 15 members increases by 0.025% per unit of X in the alliance (maxes out at 25% bonus, cannot stack with the national bonus from X.) So even small alliances can benefit from collection of X, but large alliances can't go crazy with it. Those same top 15 members will experience the same military debuffs that the possessing nation(s) do. Limited Supply: There will only ever be 10,000 units of X in the game. So either ten alliances can possess the entirety of this effect, 100 individual nations, or many others. I think this creates enough of a supply to be worth pursuing without creating such a shortage than having X on your nation is an immediate cause for war. Emergency stop-gap Measures: In the event of some crazy treasure island workaround forming, or a hegemony somehow forming from this, a nation can only receive 6 months of this effect before it gains an immunity debuff - basically this negates the effects of X for the next 90 days on your nation once you've received a cumulative of 180 days worth of bonuses from the X. The military debuffs will still apply regardless, but the main positive of keeping the X in your alliance/nation for more than 6 months would be to deny its effects to others at that point rather than endlessly profiting from it. So why will this encourage war? Alliances will be able to significantly increase their economic output in exchange for creating a significant vulnerability in their top tier as well as whoever possesses the resource. So hopefully this will encourage wars, raids, etc. to snipe the resource from each other while limiting the effect to the top 15 of any given alliance will prevent a treasure island scenario from occurring. Maybe this is a bad idea or overly complex, but I thought this up last night and figured I'd share.

No, let me break it down for you. I have not the time, nor care to take you serious enough to read more than a sentence from you until you're asking us for peace. You started an unprotected micro, which also got caught poaching before it even started, so no one wants to touch you because you've shown you're not capable of decency, then you were so shocked when it started getting raided due to lack of aforementioned protector. Then in a fit you recognized hostility, and as even that's now backfiring on you, you're reaching the denial phase, which is still before the sue for peace phase, so your text walls will be ignored. But, since I'm here, I'll give you some advice. Sue for peace, disband, go actually learn how to run an alliance, make some friends, and try again with a protector. Maybe you won't make the mistake of RoH'ing with a 2 man alliance, for a raid.

Approval Rating has been a long neglected data point, most people have 0 (-a large number). The issue is it's too easy to lose approval and too hard to gain approval, even if you are interested in the RP aspect of your nation it is likely impossible if you've been involved in a global to have positive approval rating. I suggest the current factors that increase approval rating needs to be more rewarding and negative factors need to do less damage (unless war related. E.G. Building a city or project becomes +15 Winning a war becomes +15. Successful espionage operations against you whether you exposed the nation or not means -1 approval. Somebody else fails an espionage operation, +3. Failed espionage operation, -1. Successful if spies not captured, +4 If spies captured, +3 Having war declared and declaring war becomes neutral. Turn based factors should become more rewarding and new misc factors should be added, e.g. Landing on the moon, +50 (more incentive to actually do the project). I believe this would help increase immersion and not leave a consistently poor result on nation pages. If this update were implemented approval ratings in the negative should be reset to 50%.

A small, easy, and useful quality of life improvement: Allow for bounties to be filtered by type (attrition, raid, or nuclear) and by amount ($1,000,000, $1,000,000+ $10,000,0000+, and $100,000,000+). A lot of bounties are $1,000,000 and just take up space. Being able to filter those would be useful.

We RoH'd cuz y'all: 1. Spied us multiple times the days before. 2. Declared more than Raid wars. 3. Are salty, spicy, and sour in interactions The fact The Order got involved, one of your guys treated allies, only ensures our RoH. It's also not our issue when you guys in Quack or Hedge nowadays, got to prove your dominance with (new) micro's, especially consisting people that you guys have grudges against. I don't understand why you guys can't just find ways to cope with your past and work things out with people instead. People like me and Duelie only hold grudges (which I know us people usually don't due to knowing how to cope) against people like y'all because you guys hold stuff against us from the past we have already moved over yonder. Then y'all ask yourselves "why do some people hate & make fun of us?" Well, people do so to you guys cuz y'all are so double standard. Not every joke has to be light and fluffy, or a 1+1=🔍(Window)/2+2=22 humor. Then again, you guys can do dark humor amongst yourselves while saying some pretty twisted stuff to people outside of your groups, which you guys label as a joke and don't get in trouble for, even when people get offended. But the moment someone outside y'all's groups says something that is within that same context, it's heresy against to your kind. Next, is the fact you guys must assume actions to people you guys barely even know. Furthermore, judging based on those assumptions as well ones own knowledge. Then coming to a quick conclusion only to spread what is false information/rumors. Which a good example is when you guys don't agree with someone, you guys are quite harsh when someone doesn't agree. You guys go to the point of shunning and pushing away when it comes to something you guys take seriously. That's a toxic relationship if you ask me. When you're pushing the blame/issue off of you guys so it looks like you can almost never do wrong as well don't have many problems. Unfortunately, that only causes more issues by showing how truly sensitive and insecure one is by doing what I have already narrated. To avoid bad confrontation, one must embrace they're wrongs, only to be willing to work them out with knowledge coming in. Plus, building depth of understanding, so one can spread intel. Keep the cycle of knowledge and understanding expansion going. I can tell you guys try to be very hospitalic also reasonable, but you got to find different ways to cope with your problems in healthier ways. If you actually don't want us poking at you guys either, actually work with us. We're working against you guys cuz you guys worked against us in the first place based on what was explained above. If you want to work on your issues you got to be able to take take deep breaths, try to stay calm, try to be collective on what you're taking in. One's also gotta be willing to take that intel into depth, even express about ones interpretation. You can't let your thoughts and feelings cloud reasoning. The conversation can either go towards agreeing to disagree or finding middle ground, just got to do both in a healthy way. I also never said you can't express yourself. One should always be able to express what they're thinking and feeling, but you need healthy boundaries so ones not either overreacting or underreacting. I say what I say not to be a loud mouth smartace, I do it cuz I want to see more people willing to be listening, reasoning, and feeling towards change for the better. I don't really want to do harm, I want to always be learning, understanding, coping, teaching, repeat. I only address issues do they can be worked out in positive direction, as well build my own knowledge & understanding further.

Stuff on unofficial discords are free game. People can be slanderers, nazis, transphobic and racist. The community here and some of the moderators themselves don't want to take evidence like this and handle it appropriately unless it comes from a direct source (in-game messages or the official P&W discord. Take a look at some of the reasonings here as to why people don't want it. People want the free speech to be transphobic and racist and toxic and to be free of any wrongdoings and any implications that could have to their game account. Free speech can be battled with free speech. I can provide you a list of servers in which you can exercise that in speaking with Deulos. Banning people from discord servers that show this behavior is also a good start. Push all the hate filled people into the corners of the P&W community that remain toxic and abusive. We'll be looking a few key alliances as they increase in membership when people have nowhere else to go.

The King in the North Falls into The Abyss As the King in the North was getting some fresh air riding aimlessly around his kingdom (to get away from the pressure of the constant daily coup attempts) he noticed a small glowing spot on a large stone he had never seen before. He slowly approached it and reached his hand out towards it to touch it. He was immediately pulled through the hole and into a place of endless darkness. Feeling disoriented and confused he stumbled around the darkness for what felt like an eternity. Finally out of nowhere Starfuze walked up behind him and startled him asking who dares enter The Abyss. The King asked a lot of questions about where he was and what happened. Starfuze and the King quickly became friends and Starfuze showed him how to get back home to Winterfell. Upon the king’s return he shared with his small council that House Stark will now be protecting his new friends he had made in The Abyss. TLDR; House Stark signs The Abyss as a Protectorate.
