A simple solution that I'd implement is to put a "safe trade" option in the account settings. When it's on, making a trade offer that's buys an offer for more than 200% of the average market of the value will result in a box popping up asking ”ARE YOU SURE DUDE????" Same with selling something, except if it's 50% or less of the average price. This way, those who keep making trading mistakes have the option of giving themselves a safety net, those who pay attention can spend 5 seconds turning it off like it's confetti, and most trade mistakes should be prevented. Edit: You could also make the ranges at which the safe trade is set at adjustable for the user

This is a stupid idea. Some "big" alliances in the top 30 are absolutely shit tier or irrelevant/stagnant to FA politics : TCW, UPN, Pantheon, TFP, Acadia, Polaris, SK, Fark, WTF, Typhon Apparently they're a great choice.

As a Horseman (home of the dishonorable slot thieves) I would just like to express my complete appreciation for being allowed to sometimes fight in this war. Sorry about those couple of times we beiged those people we weren't supposed to but without us occasionally pre-beiging an opponent, we would have to wait until Friday (instead of Thursday) to reach 1 trillion in total damages. I agree that a new player should join a good alliance to learn the game but forcing them to do it is wrong, so the best solution is to inform them about this in the tutorial or with some automatic message but that's all

Make the trade available 30 seconds after it's confirmed so you have 30 seconds to remove it after you notice the mistake or put a message that sums up the trade and requires a confirmation before the trade goes online

I disagree with this completely, no micros means consilidation, stagnation, less wars and less raids. This also makes the game less appealing to large preestablished communities looking to transfer over to this game and many others dont want to be part of an alliance were they are just another cog. What we really need Is for Alex to update the tutorial to stop giving bad advice like building farms too soon and to explain why MFGs should not be produced by new players. As well as explain things like production bonuses & crime better so they will stop building sloppily. And change the starting infra of new cities to 100 instead of 10 so that they can follow the advice of building in 100s without having extra Infra (even if that includes the miniscule price of 10 to 100 infra in the new city cost)

Hmm... well, there's a few possible solutions I can think of. We might make it so that trade data doesn't show up on the API for a few seconds. Alternatively, you might try setting your taxes to 100% and be granted what you need to operate by your alliance. Failing that, you could perhaps declare war on TKR and force them to stop using their bot or at least refund your money.

While 100% true, the issue is one of ignorance. Even if people have access to the top alliances or really solid micros with awesome econ/war/wtf guides and their gameplay would be enriched greatly, which they do, if they just join some dead-ass crap micro their gameplay will be ruined and they'll never even know that better alliances even existed. And then they never really had a choice, since they didn't know their options. The only real issue I have with this suggestion is that it precludes the possibility of decent micros that have all the guides and competence, but simply don't have the score at the moment. That could really cause a major unstable equilibrium problem where any alliance that's competent but rolled can't recruit, leaving their numbers dwindled and unable to get ahead since all the new recruits are being taken up my mass-recruitment alliances. For that reason, I withhold my upvote to the OP.

Hi Tiberius, I appreciate you raising your concerns here but, with all due respect, you haven't even reached out to my members before making an assumption that they won't return it. If you don't talk to them, of course they won't return it. Our bot has been previously vetted and determined not to be violating these rules because it doesn't accept trades on anyone's behalf. It's nothing more than a notification system that runs off the API, which is accessible by anyone in this game. Any alliance could make this bot if they want to. Do you want me to reach out to Talus and Blackie for you?

Maybe we can do it for the duration of the biege timer, 14 days? The protection of the biege allows them to make the most of that time and make informed decisions as they are reading through the top alliance's application processes. This also addresses the issues of noobs joining micros and leaving biege to get raided.
