  2. @Ripper Do you really think anyone in Orbis is this stupid? We can all see that you raided, got countered, and are now pretending that the counters were unprovoked "attacks." Damn, bro. You have 30 cities. Never thought I'd see an alliance with weight to throw around e-lawyering like a desperate micro. I guess it's true that Arrghians can change alliances, but never lose the micro-raider attitude. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.

  4. "Hey have I told you guys how TGH has spent the majority of its time since formation fighting wars? That's pretty cool right, I'm sure I haven't mentioned it before. Because you know that most of the alliances just like to sit on their asses and not do anything, not like us who fight many wars against the biggest coalitions in the game. That us being TGH, a very tough war alliance, of course. Hi, by the way. My name is Buorhann, I lead a really cool alliance that fights a lot of wars and does stuff called TGH! You probably haven't heard of us, but we fight a lot of wars, spend a lot of time doing it too, unlike all those other alliances who only like to sit around and not fight long wars like we do. Hey, have I told you guys about the last war we fought it, it was very recently and very long too! We're good war fighters, if I do say so myself, haha" Never change Buor ?

  7. As an old pirate that's still in the top 10 for loot I have a vast understanding on the intelligence of whales. A large chunk of my loot came from whales that couldn't handle a smaller nation in 8 wars and with zero military. I did apply critical thinking, it said free money.?

  8. Well there is, because you missed it as well. Do you guys just not read posts people make? I mean, hope quite literally addressed the point i responded to, and yet it was repeated, just saying. Yeah i don't think it's such a clear cut in your favor either. A high tier nation doesn't join a one-man alliance with no teaties for anything but to die, and funnily enough, those people don't message you when they start getting stabbed, gee i wonder why. It's basic logic, Ripper, nothing more, nothing less. Nothing to miss except basic critical thinking skills. You therefore either lack them or spin a tale of supposed innocence for some sort of utility not yet revealed. So i repeat, make a DOW, and expose the utility or just buzz off with the innocence nonsense so i can go back to being bored. You're both guilty, i, Judge Komiko, sentence you to kill each other for my entertainment.

  13. Your description is entirely right (so much so that even I can make jokes about it.) Nevertheless, I would argue that under the previously opined definition of PnW relevancy, the ease with which I can be rolled is a function more of convenience than relevancy, thus myself and Acadia are still, blissfully, irrelevant. I won't be given importance that easily. ? Also, and this is a question for the crowd, is Relevance Score the new Dynamism Points? Asking for a friend.

  14. I won't include TKR/TCW because you already know I'm gonna blow smoke up our own ass. I'll let other people speak for us. I'll focus on internal sides of the alliance, and ignore FA (because everyone already talked about FA and I have nothing new to add). 3. NPO - One of the most consolidated and well ran governments in the game, they have immense discipline as an alliance. 4. Guardian - They have a well ran system of growth, their internals are squeaky clean and they are probably historically the best fighting alliance in the game. 5. Rose - An alliance with an untapped amount of potential. Where they stand right now is not where they want to be, and given time down the line will become a top 5 alliance again. 6. The Syndicate - They are remembered and probably still regarded to as an economic powerhouse. A lot of their other systems leave things to be desired, especially their recruitment alliance, but t$'s econ by itself is godtier. 7. Grumpy - I'd honestly put them as #1, due to the sheer amount of capital they could create by simply existing, but than again they're an elite whale alliance, so they don't have impressive internals because they don't need them. Anybody would love to snatch up Grumpy to their side, and why wouldn't they. 8. Brown Knights - I would've honestly placed them as number 4 if not for the fact that their consistent merges leave their community scattered all over the place, their government constantly having to adapt to each other, and some relatively bad choices for their cabinet. Don't get me wrong, their econ systems are not terrible, their academy is one of the oldest ones existing due to Strum and Yoso, and they are a true competitor when it comes to economical capital. 9. Church of Ripper - Even when you just take a glance at these guys on a sheet, you already realize how beefy they are. They have an immense amount of potential in the future, and if not for older alliances with more experience, they'd be a lot higher on the list. 10. Knights Templar - KT is a good alliance on paper, but is heavily reliant on a few individuals to keep the show rocking. Nevertheless, they are true masterminds when it comes to IA member manipulation, they fight excellently during war, and their community is fanatically loyal. Now that ET is finally gone, they also have an immense amount of potential, and in half a years time will probably creep up on the top 5. 11. BC - A community that is very disciplined, they keep their warchests squeaky clean, their core membership is very impressive for their size. The only thing thing to be desired is better leadership and FA direction/decisions. 12. Acadia - They have the freaking Pigeon, and considering the fact they get rolled every 2 weeks, it's seriously a miracle they're still alive. The fact that they brush it all off and rebuild every time without problems is mind boggling, the amount of effort, discipline and government stability it takes to achieve such a thing is impressive, and they certainly deserve a spot up here. The Pigeon comes back every. single. time. 13. GotG - Seeker's alliance is one I wouldn't have even included here a year ago, but they have come a long way to today. They went from a crappy micro alliance to becoming something relatively good. They keep their tiers squeaky clean, they cause the least drama out of any IQ alliance and their government line up is very consistent. 14. Pantheon - Props to Panth for still being alive. Their bank management is embarrassing, their recent recruitment drive has left them unable to grow their membership and their warchests are terrible. Their raiding policies are a joke considering they raid half the known world and somehow always get away with it without getting rolled. All that aside though, Fist is a great milcom leader, and given another 6 months, Pantheon will most likely become a relatively influential alliance again. As it stands, it's a miracle they're alive, or more so that they're in the top 10, so they deserve to be included. Honorable Mentions (Not top 20): Polaris - An Alliance that shouldn't even be regarded to as a top 20 alliance, but be remembered as IQ's pubic hair. The fact that their old guard leadership wouldn't step down for years is just a testament to how fricked up and annoying it must be to be their government member. What's more important though, is the fact that people like Eva, Krieg and Phoenix stuck around with them for such a long time and are finally getting a grip on their alliance. If they continue and stay in Polaris' cabinet, Polaris might actually be regarded as something decent in the future, so props to them. House Stark - An alliance that also has an immense amount of potential. I have said at least 50 times that I'd love to be able to experiment as their High Gov of IA. Their membership is awesome, their leadership is incredibly friendly and know what they're doing. They're an alliance that has always lacked titans in Econ and IA. It's truly a shame they're not already in the top 10. TGH - I mean their whole inception is something to be clapped at. Buorhann pulled stragglers from all corners of Orbis and formed an alliance that Fought IQ and TKR in it's first opening months. They have Sketchy, the Econ mastermind, Shiho and Alkaline, both incredible gov members. I could fight TGH for 30 years every day and I would still always respect their internal affairs and econ. If TKR buckled up and left the game, they'd be the place I apply to work as High gov of IA.

  15. Actually, I'll humor this. The only alliances in the current Top 20 that's relevant are TKR, BK/NPO duo, KT, and possibly Syndicate and/or CoS. Given the moves they've made. If the alliance didn't make the list, they're either hanging on the coattails of other alliances or they simply don't do anything relevant at this moment. TKR - They've contributed to disbanding Nuke Bloc and shortly declared another war afterwards. They've got the largest core group of nations than any other alliance in the game at the moment, and as recently pointed out, have the largest group of high tier nations. Probably the most active community as well. KT - For the LONGEST time they've dealt with trolls taunting them to war, and when they finally did, they showed a lot of promise. Within a timespan of 4-5 months, they've managed to deal with dogpiles from NPO/BK and TKR/TCW/TRF. The fact they've managed to put up good numbers during that and still come out relatively ok (They rebuild pretty quickly) shows how much promise this alliance has. Participated in the longest conflict and fought against the two largest groups in a short timespan. Also part of a group of alliances that's not tied to the treaty web clusterfrick, so they could be considered a wildcard in the balance of major powers. BK/NPO - BK consolidated members and alliances into their growing hivemind. If they don't suffer a lot from attrition and maintain high organization throughout their alliance, they'll easily be the next powerhouse if they're not already (They'll get to #1 score soon). Recently started to raise their average city count, which was always a problem to deal with if you were on the opposing side. NPO initiated a war alongside with BK and raised their city count as well, but other than that... I put them together since they're pretty much besties and show good cohesion with one another. This treaty between them pretty much reshaped the game and continues to do so. Syndicate - Since the snek took command, he went out to repair what Syndicate had lost and made clear statements of Syndicate's position given the previous obliteration of treaty ties (While maintaining them as "hidden" ties). Him and his leadership core looks to be taking Syndicate back to it's roots with helping fledgling or demoralized alliances with their Protectorate care strategy that saw them successful early on. We also simply cannot ignore that Partisan is arguably one of the most influential members in the community. CoS - With the consolidation of DS into their ranks and Ripper as their lead (I still think Manthrax leads, but that's my own opinion), they have a lot of potential of making moves. It's just a matter of not making a frickup and whether the DS people are willing to deal with the boredom of their high tier status. CoS is still relatively low on my relevant scale, but I can say more about them than most other alliances not on this list.

  20. And THERE it is, finally...a tiny crack in the facade of "we're so innocent." You're a pirate. Ripper is a pirate. You saw a chance for free money. You figured you could take it without getting hurt, and if you keep your raids semi-transparently-faux-excusable, you won't get rekt by TKR like Arrgh did. Basically, once a pirate always a pirate, and your logic and excuses haven't improved since you left Arrgh. You've just found a place to grow safely while pretending to be respectable citizens. Just own it, guys, it's ballsier.

  35. From the Desk of Uncle Traveling Matt Guide to Fraggle Rock Greetings! We in Fraggle Rock respect both sides of this conflict and wish to see a quick end to all hostilities. We are offering to host any necessary talks between the fueding alliances (we'll even waive our typically host fees). Let's please end this, and return to a world in where Fraggle Rock can jump in, talk about random things, and leave. If war does break out, we in Fraggle Rock fully support Uncle Space. For as much as an ass Thrax is at times, he is also the best at showing how being weird can work out. Socially weird, kinda dim witted, and not great to look at. He knows the sweet spot of the world. Also Daddy Critters doesn't like me coming up empty handed with food....so let's all just step back and let it go. We wish both sides will end this soon. Until then.... We'll be over here in the van where nobody took notice that three guys would stake out the neighborhood in a large white van all day. That never made sense. Not like Omar had an endless amount of vans. If they saw the van, they should of known he was plotting. Sure they burnt the van in season 2 but he got another, in the same color. He's known for white rusted out vans, newports, and carrying a shotgun on city streets. How does nobody see that coming. But Fraggle they did and would call out Omar coming. True but they should have known he was around long before that because he had a van....or that taxi. Who parks a taxi and sits in it for hours? You know what would have been better? Omar on a bicycle. Many hugs Uncle Traveling Matt

  44. Both sides went into this war with fresh members that they knew they were going to lose. TKR usually keeps around 20-40 members in it's academy and builds/recruits members at a similar pace to where that number usually stays very similar or almost the same. We started the war with around 181 members if you include VMers, which is our record number by a large margin, or more realistically about 170-175 if you don't include VMers. In that pile, we had maybe 20 nations that were completely fresh off the ship, because the militarization happened as a quick reaction, and no growth on them could realistically happen in the week or two leading up to the war. ET had the exact same problem, they could anticipate the attack but couldn't do anything with their heaps of micros, they just had to roll the dice on whether they'll perform well or jump ship. War is also a great way to shave fat, and we went into this war expecting to shave a lot of it (both sides). You can agree with me that KT shaved off a lot of unnecessary fat in ET through the war and came out with a lot of fighters they found potential in, some nations in ET did outstanding, I was generally impressed throughout. All in all, TKR came out with similar/more cities out of the war than we had at the beginning, also while shaving off 30 members that deserted, quit or didn't follow orders, meaning that we're a lot leaner than we were before. (The sometimes frequent jumps/drops are applicant shuffling)
    1 point
  45. Remove ET, it is literally a training alliance with an almost open door policy. We don't care if people leave, we care about the ones who stay and do well. If you want to look at it another way, we lost a lot of applicants.
    1 point
  46. You were trained well! You ignore everything around you, everything I say and the only replies you can come up with are "ur salty lolol" All I say is thanks for the stats fam. It is funny to me how your side thought we'd give in early on, while we resisted hard. We had nothing to lose but a lot to destroy and all your attacks would not pay out as you'd just continue taking more damage than dealing when airstriking cheap infra or soldiers which are also cheap. What has happened? A coalition that had many advantages over the enemy. The first strike and more nations, a coalition that didn't just come from a war against an another coalition called IQ like the enemy did, a faction just rebuilt was attacked by your side. And let me remind you, all I hear is bragging about the first victories when you pulled the blitz, when our forces were smashed and with a lot of stash on the nation. But when it came to a battle of organized vicious guerrilla warfare, you bragged, about the start of the war. Many people say that we claim TKR's coalition lost the war, but it is the drama people make up from the topic of "TKR won a pyrrhic victory" with bad strategy that lead to unnecessary losses. I've heard TKR Gov saying that those resource losses were covered up. It doesn't matter if you covered it up or not, you still lost a large ammount of resources. And you did replace them, but you used money in doing so which could be used on something else. What will happen if wars like this continue on? Expenditures on other massive resource losses, what would it take, how many wars like this is needed until you realize that the argument of "we replaced it gg ez lmao" is a bad one to constantly use, that TKR and their allies took a large hit from an inferior force compared to the enemy when it comes to numbers. That even though you had the advantages you couldn't just roll the enemy but to just continue on saying that it is us that prolonged the war for nothing? We just fought when we had the superiority of being able to damage you but you just wanting to have the moral highground by just peforming attacks on targets that would just put you in a minus to say "oh wew so large soldier causalities and wars lost" which means that ammo and gas was wasted on cheap military units, and 'winning a war' which in most cases resulted in many tank/ship losses, and when you obtained that one number on the Wars Won stat you just give us the time to rebuild our force to hit you back again, and again while you do the same mistakes.
