Popular Post Thalmor
The reaction to @Emperor Jonas spilling his chromosomes all over the place about the war system is pretty overwhelmingly against him. As such, let's mention the things we like about the war system. Consider this thread a celebration of war, if you will. I like the feeling of harming another person's things. Using 2,250 planes against a guy with 2K infra per city and destroying, like, 600-700 infra a pop just feels great. I also like it when myself or others I know get angry/sad PMs from people who get raided or who are massive pixel huggers. Those are always funny. Maybe I'm a sociopath idk. Outside of the mechanics and into the meta, the degree to which the forums come alive during a major war and the memes they spawn is also wonderful. Wartime is really when the game shines. 2 19

Charlie Traveler
War is, plainly, lots of fun. Pitting your alliance's strategies against another's is exciting, win or lose. It's a great opportunity to build relationships and work together with friends. The memes are great, it stimulates all sorts of extra-mechanical activity, and it gives meaning to all of the work people do during peace. Without war, why bother building? Without dark, light loses its value. The same is true with war and peace.
Taysser
Wars leads to make our resources valuable Plus it is competitive Although ur infra destroyed or ur money is wasted that's make u working more to get more money to rebuild Srry bro that's the game @Emperor Jonas
Yzard
I too like the feeling of destroying player's infra and their militaries. If you raid smartly then you can earn a large number of money and resources in a raid, making you a profit. I like taunting my enemies when they rage or complain in PMs. I like how wars end up stimulating the market as the prices for resources rise. But what I REALLY enjoy is the thrill of thoroughly crushing someone

Sir Scarfalot
BLOWING. SHIT. UP. But for reals though, I like the theorycrafting and challenge behind it. The decisions and plans I constantly make between every turn and every attack are always a new and exciting puzzle. Should I go for the ground control, or is it more important to attempt to break the blockade? Should I forego airstrikes entirely and preserve planes for defense? Do I use the missile, or is the added expense of a nuke worth it? The answers are never the same from one situation to the next and when you're really challenging yourself they're rarely clear either. Velium
It makes the game more engaging, it gives you a reason to log into the website daily other than just the bonus. Not to mention the strategy and politics involved in predicting/planning an alliance war.
Popular Post Spaceman Thrax
War is terrible. Without war more people would quit and then we wouldn't be playing. The resulting influx of reintegrated weirdos back into society at large would probably prompt a massive increase in mental health funding, bringing in a new age of people presumably going outside and actually calling their mothers. 1 6 Quote Slaughter the shits of the world. Justin076
The tears, memes and salt on the OWF is the best part. The best of this community comes out during war(also the worst). Good content is created. The blowing others shit up is also kinda fun. Quote Chief Financial Officer of The Syndicate
