Flame of the Flawed Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 Problem is that its easly forgotten, like with "The Great VE war" im like 75% sure we agreed on a name that dint gloss over the fact that UPN and tS did almost all the heavy lifting in that war I'm not sure what name was agreed on but 'Great VE War' always sounded a bit generic to me. I always thought a name like 'Green Rising' was better since it better states the geostrategic significance of the war, which pretty much saw both VE and t$ (both newer AA's at that point) rise and solidify as global powers in the game (at a time when color politics was more important, and both were heavily identified with the Green Sphere). It pretty much ended one era, and started the current political era of the game. But yeah, I'm talking about the wrong war in this thread, I know Quote a.k.a. It doesn't really make sense to consider this one war with three phases though. The Arrgh conflict is only tenuously related to the "Vanguard incident" and should certainly be considered its own conflict, whereas the "Vanguard incident" in inseparable from the Rose DoW.
