Last year: "Holy frick, the economy is fricked, prices are too high, Sheepy needs to fix the economy." Sheepy: *Implements new economy changes adding the multiplier effect for specialization* Now: "Holy frick, the economy is fricked, prices are too low".........3 points

What kind of short sighted fools would pay taxes into alliances that won't outlast their leadership's propensities for making new ones? It's like we've given up on critical thinking at this point.2 points

This would only delay wars more though? If whales can get out of war by giving 1% of their income to some mid tier nation to fight a war they'll take that deal. This doesn’t even work at a rl level since big players use proxy wars to avoid conflict themseves.2 points

Seeing as how Rough Riders and BC are now the same alliance, yeah, it makes a whole hell of a lot of sense don't it?2 points

Allow new players (while in first beige) to attack a specific nation(bot) for training. This can be part of the tutorial to teach new player the basics of war, with some reward being given at the end of the attacks/war. Written by @Ripper &OP1 point

Hi all, Happy to be starting this new adventure on Orbis. I previously enjoyed NationStates and CN, and P&W looks promising so far. See you around!1 point

Over the past couple days the knights Templar has been troubling the offbeat powers. It originally started whenever they told us to change our bloc color in which their request was ignored because it's obvious the only reason why they'd want us to do that is because they want bigger money bonus. Then, over the next day, they proceeded to perform espionage attacks against us we know this was an act of aggression, because we didn't move away from red bloc because they have declared war against people for that same reason, as seen in ones cassis bellis. Offbeat powers is taking this moment to acknowledge that we find this as a active aggression and will respond with a war if needed completely open to anybody that feels that they would like to join in. So much for removing kebab1 point

Proxy wars only really work in an environment where there are two equally matched sides that fear the consequences of an open confrontation with each other. The technical term for that scenario is "boring".1 point

Can we just put to rest this myth that "tiering works" already? If the last few years have taught us nothing, it's that it has no potential whatsoever to be a force multiplier, an overpowered strategy, or any impact whatsoever on political decision making at a high level.1 point

Mad Max already said he doesn't plan to fight back, so why would he expect his allies to defend him either? If he's content with taking the beating then people should stop white knighting for him and demanding action from his allies.1 point

His Allie's to rebuild him...? Yes his Allie's that are an overinflated micro combined with a moderate size mid tier alliance that just got slapped around by IQ, then arrgh, then Oblivion and had it's Bank stolen. They sound absolutely flush with cash.1 point

To be honest - would have never thought this thread would have made it to a 2nd page, let alone 4 pages. I just wanted to clarify some things for the masses: 1. I have always said what is on my mind, I don't believe in false formalities or bullshit beat around the bush conversations. Through my profession I've learned to be direct and to the point, why would I engage others differently than how I engage in real life - you get my honest opinion 100% of the time. 2. On Camelot. Camelot is and has always been trash - and that is my opinion. Whether or not you agree with me is up to you, I've had plenty of conversations including with Camelot government where they have always and will always be labeled as trash - their government always complains about the opinion 1 man advertises publicly and if they choose to be hurt by opinion, so what? 3. My accusations that BK/IQ sent these retards to hit TI were literally to stir the pot - regardless if they actually were or were not sent by BK bc BK had some vaginal pains after my post is whatever.....it doesn't matter. I cannot sit here and advocate for more action in this game and then be upset that action was made against me or my alliance, that would be god damn stupid. Claiming that someone is butthurt over being attacked very well might work in those top tier pixel counter alliances, but here in TI we take the hits and keep rolling - I could give 2 shits if you zeroed out my infra and maintained my nation at 0 infra for the rest of my time here - Im here for the people I enjoy and love - all this drama is the benefit. 4. Tip: If you're called trash - take a look at yourself (figuratively) in the mirror. Do you see trash? Yes - the you're trash. No? Then you're not trash. Stop playing into other's opinions of yourself and just do you boo. #CamelotisTrash1 point

Ahhhh yesss, nothing like getting triggered by an article and recruiting your protectorates and Arrgh to fight a micro on a scale of 5:1(not counting Arrgh). That sure makes you look a lot better than the article portrayed you. Pffft please, more like a burning trash compactor.1 point

if you haven't done the objective then you still can do it. Beige time has nothing to with it other then it's during the first beige and you don't change to grey while you're in that war.1 point

@MonkeyDLegend damn you for being lazy. Monkey had an idea of having a few dummy nations around for the new players to attack, while staying in beige (for the first 14 days of protection). That way, they get to get accustomed to the war mechanics and have some "action" without having to wait for too long. This could indeed be part of the tutorial/objectives. The nations per se would give no loots. Wars could last for 2 days as always or could be shorter for those specific nations.1 point

I propose that we introduce the ability to declare “friendly” wars between alliance members. These friendly wars will not do any real damage to either parties (military units won’t die, no loss of infra etc.), instead the program will show you what damage you would’ve done. Besides from no damage, these wars will behave just like normal wars, with MAP production, wins and losses, and resistance loss. It would be a good tool to help alliances train new members about how to properly war.1 point

Previously I suggested something quite similar, however that suggestion was for sorting through the applicant list. This (no doubt more useful) idea would help alliance leaders. When it comes to cleaning your alliance, one of the things you must do is kick inactives. Sure, you might wanna tax em for a while, but too many inactives causes clutter. I suggest that we add "Last Online" to the list of things you can sort your alliance members by. A simple change, but no doubt a loved one.1 point

This is already the case. A 5 minute delay is pretty extreme - people would just stop using the API and scrape in-game pages directly, which is hard on server performance and would negatively impact everyone's gameplay, without changing anything. These "trade bots" are just notification bots. There is already a delay on how fast the information shows up in the API, and ultimately there's just no way to prevent people from doing this. I could delete the API page and people would simply scrape the web pages, which I addressed above as a non-solution that negatively affects everyone's experience. I could just ban every nation that accepts a trade too fast, but that's hardly fair and will just result in be banning people who haven't done anything wrong and people quitting the game because of ridiculous moderation practices. The only real way to prevent people from using notification bots effectively is to put captchas on every page, but I don't think you (or anyone else) wants that. As a result, a compromise has to be made, and I don't see any suggestions that are better than the balance reached in the status quo.1 point

Or you could just get your ally, NPO, to put a bit of pressure on his alliance to get him to stop spewing shit everywhere. Just an idea. Wouldn't even have to get the game admins involved.1 point
