I actually think it's funny and lighthearted as well tbh.

It's actually cool when an alliance / sphere not involved in a war posts something random like this.

The idea is. The execution when you actually read through it is a tad lacking. 4/10. Clock can do better.

Fair enough. Granted it's not a Yoso level shitpost but I still think it's pretty cool.

It is easier to write this than actually fight HW or Ro$e I suppose.

It is easier to bandwagon and hit unmilled/inactive people as well I suppose.

Hey can you remind me the first last time you guys fought an actual difficult war?

Its sometime before or after they remained in a sphere with a threat of war on the horizon

"The Time is Up Agreement"
(In HW or Celestial and get scared for a moment, when you saw this go up? Lol.)
image.thumb.png.db29cc7d36d548580cad00c23a277b71.png

Preamble: In the interest of peace and mutual understanding, the two parties of Clock and Backroom enter into this agreement. Recognizing that at this time there is no Casus Belli between the two parties and as such in an effort to avoid a needless and causeless war, the two parties agree to enter into a mutual agreement of demilitarization.

Article 1: The two parties, effective of the update of today, June 29, 2022, in game time will not militarize beyond what's a rational MMR.

Article 2: Not dictating what c10's and lower can do, for real, Jesus.

Article 3: During this period of demilitarization in the face of the current ongoing global conflict, the parties pledge to come to the aid of the other if one party comes under the attack of a sphere that is already militarized.

Article 4: This agreement will expire once the current spheres already engaged in hostility have rebuilt and returned to a standard peacetime MMR.   What do I type here that also sounds sort of pathetic?

The most ironic part? That the only two blocs that did this recently, are fighting each other, now.

Weird right? its like you guys flipped out over absolutely nothing, which is what both blocs tried to tell you.

I guess it’d have been better if we *actually* did this, like the two of ya’ll who are fighting? Or would we have been mocked? Please do tell us the boundaries that we have to adhere to. It’s sad that you can’t take a joke, and I imagine everyone figured someone would make a meme MDP like this. The most ironic part? That the only two blocs that did this recently, are fighting each other, now.

People can take a joke, dude. The overall idea was pretty funny. But you're also very visibly bitter for whatever reason, as seen here, hidden through your initial post, and on RON and that's what people are reacting to, I believe.

Keep sitting there whimpering and waiting for your inevitable rematch with Backrooms or some other small time bloc since Clock isn't interested in anything challenging these days. Props to HW for trying out a new strategy and making it work; Props to HoF for literally taking on entire blocs single handedly, and condolences to Clock for still being salty about a treaty that dissolved a while ago without doing literally anything about it.

More and more people practicing ultracrepidarianism nowadays.

First as someone who's more or less in touch with Clock leadership, we have never been salty about it (why would we ? This didn't change anything for us), but feel free to simp for HW as much as you want & lick their feet for the most predictable global of 2022 (yet Ro$e didn't see it coming it seems ...).

Second, why should we have hit HW or Ro$e ? They have 70% of the whales in the game altogether, so why should Clock be the one taking care of it ? Why should we suicide on either of them to help the other party ?

Third, Challenge ? Let me laugh, as if everyone wasn't going for easy wars nowadays. HoF has taken on a demilled Minc & Johnsons, it's not that impressive. Similarly, HW taking on an half demilled Ro$e isn't going to be much fairer in the end. And afaik Clock never claimed that gw24 was meant to be fair.

But thankfully, blocks are never frozen and hopefully there might be some FA changes after this war with a revamped treaty web to have new matchups. You cannot blame Clock for all the upper tier alliances in the game but TEst being in 2 spheres and thus Clock not wanting to go on a kamikaze mission. This is not Clock's war.

Anyhow, looks like we're living rent free in everyone's heads nowadays.

Jesus fricking Christ mate, if someone is living rent free in anyone's head it is Clock and this damn HollyRose treaty. It was dogshit, everyone knows that, why keep bringing it up after it has been dissolved especially after Rose or tS probably won't trust HW again with such a treaty after this war.

You keep harping on about how unimpressive HoF is, or how unimpressive HW is, but mate you guys just spent weeks on the most unimpressive war I have seen in a while. And to answer you, why should Clock want to fight HW? I don't know, maybe because that was what I thought Clock was about? Fighting challenging wars and not !@#$ing endlessly on the forums as you love to do.
