The specter of the United Socialist Bloc. We, the alliances of the United Socialist Bloc, rally together in pursuit of the advancement of the left’s ideals in this Optional Defense and Optional Aggression Pact. We, as one, strive to maintain prosperity and friendship between the signatories. Furthermore, all of the signatories of the United Socialist Bloc agree to not engage in open warfare with one another. Article II - Optional Defense In the event that a signatory is directly attacked, the signatories of the United Socialist Bloc may, but are not obligated to provide financial and/or military support to the defending signatory. The signatories must provide a clear “yes†or “no†as to whether or not military and/or financial aid will be provided to the defending signatory. Article III - Optional Aggression In the event that one signatory of this treaty decides to declare war on an alliance, both military and financial support towards said signatory is optional. The signatories must provide a clear “yes†or “no†as to whether or not military and/or financial aid will be provided to the aggressive campaign. Article IV - Intelligence All signatories are obligated to share intelligence to other signatories of the United Socialist Bloc if it threatens the security or growth of any of the signatories. Article V - Membership Should any alliance wish to join the United Socialist Bloc, a unanimous vote must be achieved by the signatories (1 vote per alliance) in order to accept an alliance. Article VI - Termination If, at any point, an alliance wishes to leave the United Socialist Bloc, the alliance must provide a 72 hour notice before officially announcing and therefore leaving the bloc.
