Since my arrival it has been a priority to reset relations politically and bring our alliance into a new light - in addition to opening up political moves that weren’t possible prior. The relationship with Eclipse had no respect either way, years of turmoil and disputes. Due to significant progress made on both sides, we finally have been able to come to an agreement and a point in time to continue to building on the foundation of mutual respect and a positive relationship between both parties. - Terminus Templar Accords - Article I. Optional Defense Both parties are given the option to come to the other's defense, in the event of a direct attack on either signatory. Both parties reserve the right to ask for assistance, as needed, from the other party. Article II. Optional Aggression Either signatory may ask the other to join them in offensive action, on a voluntary basis for a joint military operation. Article III. Conduct Both signatories recognise and uphold the importance of their relationship, acknowledging that peace and respect are paramount. The signatories agree to always act in good will. Article IV. Intelligence Both signatories agree to share vital information which directly impacts one another’s security, regardless of the situation at hand. Article V. Non-Chaining Both signatories recognise and acknowledge that Article I solely extends to the present signatories and will not extend to any additional Alliance except direct extensions and offshores. Article VI. Cancellation Either signatory reserves the right of cancelling this treaty. In such event, a 72-hour notice must be provided before the treaty is formally terminated. Both parties will adhere to this treaty until expiration.
