  1. Because their leadership was them. They followed their leaders. If they had largely elected to remain in the game, that'd be one thing. There'd be a cloud over them, but they could eventually work out from under it. But most of them didn't. They left, in either obedience to, or solidarity of, a leadership that had blatantly cheated and been about as unfriendly to the spirit of the game as they possibly could be, in an effort to "win" an unwinnable game. Their leadership was disgusting. Anyone who follows them deserves zero respect. BK had even less reason to mass-leave the game. They weren't caught cheating. None of them were banned. But they did so... in defense of their allies who were caught blatantly cheating...? That's just pathetic, in addition to their part in a war meant to win an unwinnable game. Good riddance. Regarding Curu, he was/is just a terrible human. And I say that as someone who once counted myself among his friends.

  3. Their government was caught illicitly generating resources twice while trying to get have the game to quit by placing us in a perpetual war. The high gov was banned so NPO and their allies quit the game and tried to coerce as many people as they could to quit too. They or their friends also review bombed the game with outlandish claims like this was a pedo ring. They aren't welcome round these parts.

  4. It's funny because, Godwin's Law aside, if you substitute Nazi for IQ in your quoted defense it's pretty accurate as well. I guess we just gotta stop being critical of bad people after enough time has passed, whether they admit fault and apologize or not. After all, I hear Vlad the Impaler really loved his mom.

  5. Yes, the entirety of NPO was infected with the sheep virus and the culture overall was seeped with a certain brand of cultism and communism.

  7. It had only been a couple days since the violent protests had torn the nation apart. The existence of the Human Alliance had just been declared, making it the first country to rise from the ashes of what was once Rokkenjima. Although skirmishes between species were still occurring throughout the land, it wouldn't take long before the majority of each species settled in a specific area, whether it be the result of them escaping or simply being killed by an area's dominate species. Although it hadn't yet been declared, the Japanese islands and Taiwan were certain to be witch territory. Those looking to flee the conflict would find themselves evacuating to the neutral cities of Hong Kong and Macau, which were largely spared from the protests. Between the breakout of violent protests and the Human Alliance's declaration of existence, it would set in motion the formation of other nations from Rokkenjima's former territory. The territory of Manchuria was known to contain a large number of vampires, estimated to be in the tens of millions. East of Manchuria, however, was home to a similar, yet different species. They were known as Shiki, or corpse demons. They were similar enough to vampires to be considered as such by the general public. They fed on human blood, feared sacred objects, slept during the day, and would burn to death from exposure to sunlight. Shiki were vampires in the truest sense. The only thing differentiating them from normal vampires was their origin. Shiki were reanimated corpses inhabited by deceased spirits, while the majority of normal vampires were turned directly from a human into a vampire via the bite of another vampire. The population of Shiki is much smaller than that of normal vampires, estimated to be a few hundred thousand at most. Jinrou are a subspecies of Shiki. They are much rarer, with an estimated population of less than five hundred. Jinrou are the most similar to the normal vampire population, transforming at the brink of death rather than reanimation postmortem. They are superior to Shiki, as they lack most of their weaknesses, including: vulnerability to sunlight, a diet strictly limited to human blood, and involuntary loss of consciousness at daybreak. The creation of Jinrou can only be achieved as a result of death by blood drainage from a Shiki, which is why they are considered a subspecies of Shiki rather than normal vampires. Although the Shiki lacked any formal leader, most were loyal to the Kirishiki family, of which Sunako Kirishiki was the head. Despite having the youngest appearance in the family, she was its oldest member with a chronological age of over 100. The Kirishiki family mansion was located somewhere in the mountains of Sakhalin. Sunako sat in a windowless room, taking a sip from a glass of fresh blood which had just been poured by her Jinrou servant, Tatsumi. "Here you are, Lady Sunako." Sunako replied after taking her first sip. "Thank you, Tatsumi." She leaned her head back, staring up at the ceiling as she gathered her thoughts. "It has been many years, but we are finally in a position in which Shiki could live freely in their own independent society." Tatsumi responded. "Such a thing would indeed be wonderful. However, I am sure you are aware of the accompanying issues." Sunako nodded. "Of course. We mustn't risk declaring the existence of our society in the manner of the humans. Our kind is strong, yet extremely fragile." She took another sip from the glass, finishing it. "It is due to our nature that we cannot fight or defend ourselves like other species. If anyone were to discover the location of a nation of Shiki, our kind could be eliminated over the course of a single day." She frowned at the observation. "It is cruel. Although we may finally live freely, our existence, like us, must remain in the shadows... I have come to the decision that we will declare our existence quietly, only to be known by our kind. We will be known as the Shiki Tribes. I trust I can count on your assistance to deliver the message to our people." Tatsumi bowed. "Of course, Lady Sunako." Sunako smiled, glancing down at a small map on the table, her finger resting on Manchuria. "I believe we will find our allies soon. Until then, let us continue to watch from the shadows."

  10. You don't have to grovel at the feet of people who ask you a question in bad faith. It's okay not to forgive people who attempted to deprive you of your ability to play the game outside of intolerable circumstances. Remember; if NPO and friends had their way, you wouldn't be around to forgive them in the first place.

  11. I really hope @Roquentin reactivates his account when his 6 month ban is over with. Thinking there might be a handful of players who would really enjoy an opportunity to “welcome” him back to P&W.

  12. I don't see any problem here, usage of credits, including selling them on the market is limited to 10 Credits per month. The prices of credits is also increasing because a lot of people are buying them to redeem Credit Items (i.e 5k resources or 15M money)

  13. If you're blindly doing what you're told, you need to reevaluate your decisions and I have no sympathy for you. They drank the koolaid, they made their bed, they can lie in it. Just because Jim Jones kept people in the dark doesn't mean I need to like the people who followed him.

  16. Well I'm sorry but it would not be our faults if certain people can not pertain to thinking more tactically based on staying up-to-date w/ the game. Especially those still using planes as a main army force as well as using pre 05/14/2020 ¨tactics¨ *ahem* Sorry dry throat. Anyways, that is an interesting take on this idea w/ the mega cities. That sounds like we could have something like the Ready Player One final battle shit going on. I would say have each city be where an irl mega city would be. Just saying would it feel cool taking over a city like New York City in Ready Player One fashion but its like a giant MW Warzone moshpit?

  17. People don't want to add this because it fundamentally shows the OP having no understanding of the current game mechanics, because if they did, they'd realize they're suggesting the update completely change everything about the game. 😛 Initially I thought we were going towards something like mega cities with bonuses, another way to do regions or whatever that people have suggested for alliances to fight over. Now that, would be an interesting idea.

  18. Says it on the tin. Let alliances create achievements that can be given by the gov members to be showcased with or in-place of the game achievements. A lot of AA's already have a ribbon system, that this would be able to formalize.

  19. Ads: Run your own nation! Own a military! Actual game: Buy max planes and soldiers and press 10 buttons every 12 hours for 3 months, so that you can press no buttons and complain about how boring the game is. Honestly, if it weren't for politics and spreadsheets, I'd be out of here. Alliances have to educate newbies that the rest of the game is fun and involve them in the gov pipeline right away. tS, Camelot, and Rose seem to be doing a good job at this, but most alliances are still too focused on growth and dismissive of newbies who get bored when they don't see any better gameplay.

  22. This is the list I currently have for the next update. This thread is for talking about the QoL changes ON THIS LIST. This is not the thread for asking for more QoL changes, there's a whole thread Adrienne manages dedicated to that. If you have something you believe is a high priority QoL change, please contact me on discord. Alliances have the ability to create up to 8 alliance positions. The default number when creating an alliance is still 3. Alliance Trades offers also show in the global trades (perhaps have a different highlight to encourage players to go for those trades). Alliance tax brackets can be changed in bulk (multiple members added/removed at once) Alliance leaders (with appropriate access levels) can see the time-zones for members. Ability to sort alliance members/applicants by “Last online”. Move expired treaties to an “Archived” tab. Allow for alliances to issue embargoes for other alliances. The embargoes auto activate but give a notification to the member with the option to remove the embargo. Add a mass buy feature to Land, similar to Infra. Allow players to send direct trades of resource for resource Regarding the alliance embargo, I know this has something Alex has been against for some time, but I'm going to push for it to happen. It will need an easy opt out option though, which should address his concerns regarding the policy.

  23. All of these new projects are really nice, but everything that’s been added since the city projects has been whale level stuff. They are completely cost prohibitive for 80-90% of the game at today’s resource prices. Without some sort of lower level mining projects being added, be they at a nation level or at a newly created alliance wide specialty level, all they are really doing is throwing the entire game’s economy into further imbalance.

  28. My suggestion is that unclaimed cities should be put in the game. What I mean by that is that 20 (or something different) players of similar power are put on one map, and they can declare war on cities controlled by A.I to claim them. The other players can then declare war on the person that claimed the city, or the Unclaimed city, and where it says the type of war when you declare war (AKA Ordinary/Attrition/Raid) there is a new one that says "Claim City" It is just like ordinary, but it targets the claimed city (if the war target has several claimed cities, they can choose witch one). The cities will only be Major (AKA capitals of powerful countries, or one that had a huge affect on history, like Paris, Manhattan, London, Moscow, etc.), to avoid players being too powerful. The cities controlled by A.I won't do anything other than defend the city. The Cities will have 20 thousand soldiers, 4 ships, and 20 planes, and unlimited munitions. The cities will be named accordingly and the image/name can't be changed. The buildings, infrastructure, and land that the player has built on their claimed city will be reset (same land and infrastructure as a city that was just built) when another person takes it. To simplify it you can remove the 20 players on a map and also make there be one of those cities( what I mean is that there are several A.I controlled cities, but no duplicate cities) throughout the entire game, but using the one that is not simplified can be better because in the simplified version, the most powerful players won't affect the weaker one's chances on getting a city. I understand if you don't add this to the game because it is such a big update.

  29. Hey buddy, racism is power + privilege according to social science, which is known to be the hardest science known to man backed by mathematical models and empirical evidence. That means it is physically impossible to be racist against white people. On a serious note though, durmij is on the ball, it is an obvious parody of lefties and I do not actually believe it. It is my ingame character. On a pozzed site like reddit or facebook saying something like that unironically is completely tolerated, which I am satirizing. If I did break the community rules I did not mean to and I'd happily adjust my behavior if I hear from a mod about this. Maybe you can be lenient on me since I am a new player.

  30. Geez, come on! It has been around 4 months & still this attitude? Not all of them were that way & even the majority of the regulars in IQ didn't know until the most latter part of the war. Why treat them like they all did wrong even thou they were just doing what they were told w/o knowing what was going on in the dark?

  31. Quoting myself on the Dial-Up War ¨Correct me if im wrong... As someone who was able to be on both sides of the conflict, both struggled to work w/ each other. The majority of the time was spent figuring out who was where as well who agreed w/ who. Thus lead to those being against IQ & w/ them. Same w/ F1, it was a flip flop of who agreed or disagreed w/ em. That also lead to agruing in Coalition war chats & splitting & regrouping in different areas. Talks started around November but kept getting delayed by Coal. A & Coal. B cus of constant change of views, intel, etc. For the longest road, Alex, & his staff where alongside NPO & co for the fact they were able to control rss, econ, MAś, FAs, & even present a lot of complaints w/ solid proof while some others were slide under to protect their people. But just like what would happen in irl governments admit of aliens exist, those truths came out, alongside leaks from other aas which ended up starting the Great Leak War. After a couple months of more war & more leaks coming from both sides (adding to the chaos that was still happening that I mentioned earlier) NPO ¨Cheat Day" arrived which the mods flip flopped only to mass mute, suspend, & ban on IQ forces so other aa´ś could have chances to control. That lead to an uneasy peace, treaty cancellations, & splitting of what used to be a well interlaced treaty web.¨
