  1. For years a silent cult has grown within the state of Carthago in Orbis, and in skies above within Aurora. This cult, discovering the Event Horizon has devoted itself to the Event. Worshipping the impending consumption and death by the massive whole ripped into the galaxy by such an Event, the leaders of this cult have now come into the open. In a mass gathering within the Cothon Harbor, space ships from Aurora have docked and the four leaders have emerged to speak to their people, and indeed to the world at large. The followers of Event Horizon have emerged. In earthly realms, where rivers roar, Horizon’s warriors march with pride untamed, Their empire vast, forever to explore. Beneath the skies, their gods adore, With glyphs and chants, their destiny proclaimed, In earthly realms, where rivers roar. With obsidian hearts, they do implore, To the gods of death, their strength untamed, Their empire vast, forever to explore. Through jungles dense, their banners soar, In serpentine dance, their enemies maimed, In earthly realms, where rivers roar. To distant lands, their banners they bore, Their legacy written, their glory acclaimed, Their empire vast, forever to explore. Though ages pass, their spirit, an ore, Their legacy echoes, in lands untamed, In earthly realms, where rivers roar, Their empire vast, forever to explore.

  4. The House Always Wins Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and high rollers of all ages, gather around for a short tale of ambition, dodgeball, and, inevitably, the unforgiving laws of probability. Picture this: the cream of the crop in Orbis dodgeball–Average Joe’s, Yetis, and Clown Punchers–all reunited in the glitzy, neon-soaked streets of Las Vegas for the ODOO annual championship tournament. Spirits were high, adrenaline was pumping, and the $50,000 grand prize was in our sights. What could possibly go wrong? The tournament was fierce as millions of spectators from across Orbis watched us all dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge like never before. Fresh off the dodgeball courts, we wound our way through the Strip, all feeling like winners after our incredible performances when the odds were stacked against us. But in a twist that would make even the most stoic poker face crack a smile, we lost it all. Every. Single. Dollar. Lost, in the tantalizing, treacherous temple of chance known as the Casino de Monte-Carlo, run by The Sword Coast and Fortune Teller Solomon Ben-David, who can count cards all day long. As the sun rose over the skies of Sin City, one single, undeniable truth became painfully clear: The House Always Wins. Penniless, pride bruised, and with nothing left but the shirts on our backs, we realized we had but one course of action: disband ODOO and embrace the calling of The House. In The House, the stakes are high, the players are strong, and the winnings? Well, let's just say we're feeling lucky. With a roll of the dice, a spin of the wheel, and a shuffle of the decks, The House awaits your wager. Just don’t bet more than you can afford to lose. After all… The House Always Wins ------- The Orbitite Dodgeball Organization of Orbis is hereby disbanded. The Bellagio, The Casino de Monte-Carlo, The Luxor, and The Venetian are joining forces to form The House. 6. For too long Noctis has posted on these forums, yapping about this thing and that thing. Noctis has claimed ownership of Yellow because of his brainrot, as he gets his low tier noobs to try defending it for them; as they keep gaining as much damage as they can. It's time for the masses to stand up, spin around and fall over to prove Noctis can win. We encourage all on Yellow to Vote The Immortals Yellow Bloc to prove to Noctis that Immortals has more people on Yellow. We probably wont fight for Immortals right to treat Noctis as a second class nation, but we are not above strongly worded letters. We encourage others to stand with us & vote to make Yellow the same as it always was. We are open to both treaties and paperless relations with those who wish to assist in proving change is impossible. The same Noctis complains forever and we can't change that. Yellow is the color of urine, not sure why Noctis settles for pee colors rather than be Red. Either he is colorblind, or maybe he likes to stare at the sun til his brain melts. Raiders are fighting for loot & avoiding the good colors because they are too busy looting people to farm a 75000 dollar per turn bonus, so the evil whales can keep getting richer than them at an even faster pace. 7. SYNDICATE, INC. ISSUES STATEMENT ON RETIREMENT OF LONGEST-SERVING EXECUTIVE AND DEBUNKS ASSASSINATION CLAIMS NASSAU, Bahamas, 2024-03-14: SYNDICATE, Inc., (NYSE:SCC) issues a twofold statement congratulating Lucas, record-breaking longest-serving member of the Executive board, on his retirement. For over three years as Chief Operations Officer, he has served the interests of the corporation, striving to always bring more value to its shareholders, prevailing over underachieving would-be usurpers and two-faced maniacs alike. President Tom, illustrious member and long-time vice president of Asset Command, rises to fill the seat of Chief Operations Officer. He is supported by vice president of Corporate Strategy, MaiseeDaisee. Both were seen clad in black robes near the Sith shrine outside the company headquarters in Nassau, no doubt contemplating their long work under Lucas and what the future holds. However, the Syndicate is saddened to find itself in the position of having its newest Executive face utterly unfounded accusations of murder, and categorically condemns such naked, odious opportunism in the face of this historic event. Chief Global Strategist and media contact Tarroc — increasingly better known by his birth name, Gaius Julius Caesar — has expressed displeasure at the claims. At a business lunch, he was quoted as saying, “Lucas has always been an intensely private individual. It was well within his rights, and perfectly in-character as well, not to make a public announcement himself, choosing instead to leave quietly and suddenly, and having Thomas notify the board on his behalf. To even suggest he was murdered as part of some religious ritual is nonsensical.” The department’s spokesperson, now working directly under President Tom after signing a generous contract renewal, has informed the media that Lucas has permanently relocated to Exegol, his favorite retreat, and will continue to serve the company in an advisory capacity. As a token of gratitude for years of service, and keenly aware of his desire for privacy, the Syndicate has restricted all travel to Exegol in the Unknown Regions for the foreseeable future. Longest-serving Executive of the Syndicate, still alive and well, retires peacefully and without bloodshed. May he rest.

  8. The Witcher Order & The Golden Horde When I created The Forgotten Realms a year and a half ago, One of my goals was to bring our community to Politics & War. We have always had the mindset that friendship and allies over pixels. We have always believed that we will 0 out our pixels before we left one of our friends hanging in a war. We built a community of like minded individuals, who shared our goals and beliefs. That is why we were more than willing to fight alongside The Knights Radiant in 3 globals last year. Over the past year, we have focused mainly on our internal building. When the idea of a merger was presented between The Golden Horde and us, it became very clear to me that we had very like minded communities, with the same goals, and the same aspirations. And the fact that The Golden Horde saw us and respected us for what we have done, meant a lot to me. In the time that we have been allied to The Golden Horde, we became really good friends. And that is what made this decision much easier. When 2 communities get along and share the same goals and aspirations, why not merge the two? While I am sad that the alliance that I have spent the last year and a half building is ending, I am excited for the future. I am excited about the new possibilities, and the friendships we are building along the way. The Witcher Order is merging into The Golden Horde. With that, The Witcher Order and the Freehold of the Wolves have now become extensions of The Golden Horde. If you try to mess with either, you will face the Great Khan's wrath. This is your only warning. All treaties are remaining the same. The Golden Horde’s government structure is as the following: Great Khan: Buorhann Jinong (2iC) Kiyat-Borjigin: Rein Beklare-Bek: Tachi Khans (High Gov) Econ: Floyd & Sniper IA: MasterChief & Salvarity FA: Kastor Milcom: Charles IV & Henry Kurultai Council: Elros, Pablo, Adam, Rashek All Glory to the Great Khan! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! TL;DR: The Witcher Order has merged into The Golden Horde.

It's time for the masses to stand up tot he Authoritarians and prove freedom can win. We encourage all on Yellow to Vote Anarchy Yellow to prove to them they don't own the team & freedom prevails. We will fight for our right to not be treated as second class nations; forced on the worst colors. We encourage others to stand with us & vote to make Yellow a free color. We are open to both treaties and paperless relations with those who wish to assist in proving change is possible. The same dinosaurs don't own the same colors forever and we can make a stand to change things. Yellow is where we make our last stand at least, not sure why so many raiding alliances settle for bad colors rather than be bold. Either we succeed, or the whales keep dominating in their leads, as raiders are fighting for scraps & avoiding the good colors just so the whales can keep getting richer than them at an even faster pace. 10. Good morning, everyone. We heard some people claiming Camelot broke the global non-aggression-pact. We have not. Samurai is no longer an extension of Camelot and it hasn't been for some time. We don't control their FA or dictate their targets. Furthermore, they are not under the NAP's protection, contrary to any jokes or statements otherwise. Hopefully this clears up any confusion.

  11. Separate from my usual feelings about your somewhat baseless ramblings, it is really ripe to see you post this here of all places. You (Camelot, of which you are sole decision-making head) dropped the people of Atlas without giving them a long enough opportunity to adjust to your requests. Nobody is claiming they are perfect - see further post below - but you lost all credible argument space on this. We all know you like to puppet anyone who is silly enough to ask for your help ("we will send someone over" isn't how the rest of the civilized world treats prots,), but its rich to see you basically arguing merge or die. Maybe you were drawn here because for once someone was posting a complaint about a different alliance than Camelot. @Mac a couple of tips, both OOC and IC: -Bold is a really great tool to use for headers breaking up a long post like this or to create emphasis on a short point. Using it through your entire post makes it difficult to read, let alone understand. But I will say from our limited interaction, this does match your communication style - long, rambling, limited punctuation, and no editing. If you want other people to respect you and bother responding, spending a minute cleaning up your thoughts goes a long way. -This makes a third separate protectorate that has dropped you in six weeks. It is probably time to look in the mirror and figure out why that is. Sounds like you do not even need to request feedback, as plenty has been provided and ignored already. -Finding potential partners and allies does mean having to compromise and adjust your preferences. If you fail to do so, often that pushes people away, like Camelot, WAP, and the nice people from Western Republic who de-merged from you. An important point here though: publicly going scorched earth on everyone when a relationship fails accomplishes nothing. You alienate others in a very small community of Orbis. To this point: please stop harassing the members of Western Republic. They have moved on after finding reasonable terms to separate, yet you continue to DM them privately and ping them publicly. Poaching attempts will no longer be ignored. Manage your own alliance with your members and leave those that chose to disassociate from you alone. (I would also suggest applying this advice to Camelot and WAP, because as you can see above, when you overstate your self-importance and publicly attempt to mislead, the other party can come along and correct the record.) -Good luck in the future, sincerely. Most people would see this as a learning opportunity and try to do better next time. But I remain skeptical this will be the case for you. Leading is hard: Your members are counting on you to make good decisions and put them in the best possible situation. They trust you. I always try not to take such responsibility lightly. You might want to do the same.

  12. Hi all, Over the course of the last year, it has been of my opinion that the culture and media in PnW has been lacking. While there are some bright spots (Epi's video, Thalmor's radio show, etc) I do believe that its time to move back into the realm of PnW media. When I had ashland radio, we averaged around 80-100 people, had one of if not the first public interview with @Alex and discussed various political and mechanical events and happenings that were going on. This will be the same, and I'm honored to be able to host alongside George (Gorge) from Rose. This week, our first guest will be @Velyni Vas! An experienced FA head with a strong history in the game. We will be discussing: KT Tier Lists Rundown of the Top 20 Expectations with the projects change. Then if we have time, a general Q&A! (I'll unmute people to ask their questions to Vel) Looking forward to seeing you all there, it will be hosted here, exclusively, going forward https://discord.gg/eCyJHzFW6u Big thanks to Seafyre, Velyni, and George! 14. As Captain-General Jeric and the Guardians of the Dawn flew through yet another solar system on the legion’s long journey, they noticed an odd planet that reminded them of a place called Earth they’d visited before. This planet had no known name in the ship’s navigation system, but was noticeably colder than what seemed normal for the planet’s location. Nevertheless, life was still abundant, and the Legion of Dawn broadly agreed it seemed like a suitable place to rest before continuing on their journey. The legion landed near a castle called Winterfell, and shortly after found themselves investigated by a local scouting party. Captain-General Jeric and the Guardian of the Bastion, Kan, agreed to visit with the rulers of the local kingdom. They found the castle of Winterfell impressive, despite being antiquated compared to the technology they were used to. The representatives of the Legion of Dawn, after asserting they were not there to cause any trouble, found themselves feasting merrily with the King of Winter, Ataxia Stark, and his advisors. Tales were sung of battles past, with undernotes of warning about “the coming Winter.” Jeric and Kan believed they could quite easily fix this problem, as their ship was capable of producing a tremendous amount of energy which could easily be released to warm the planet and prevent the encroaching cold, and offered their aid. “Are you certain you wish to join us in the fight against the Winter?” King Ataxia asked, with a furrow in his brow. “Of course,” said Captain-General Jeric. The two shook hands, formalizing the alliance. “After all,” Jeric said, “how hard could dealing with some snow really be?” “Snow?” Ataxia questioned. “Snow is the least of your worries now…” And in the far distance, the White Walkers felt the birth of the new alliance, and were worried. TL:DR The Legion of Dawn and House Stark sign an MnDoAP.

  16. BigG, the FA head from WAP here. We gave you a 72 hour notice, and said we would continue to help you until you found another protector, but then were continually disrespected and then you flat out told us that you had been dealing in bad faith. We have your embassy archived if you’d like to have a look. Happy to show all the times that you shot yourself in the foot, most recently when your whole server got deleted because you refused to move over to one where you had admin because it was “too much effort”. 19. I wanted to launch this thread because I felt it time to respond to some things.... The great team of Atlas has been through a lot. After taking in Commo's team, and paying all their debts off, they ripped our alliance in half twice. Camelot dropped us two short weeks later claiming the world was ending and nanos and micros didnt matter anymore. We have spent the last two weeks with great people from WAP trying to piece together the dedicated group, a daunting task by both sides to undergo. WAP said they wanted to try and improve us, we tried very hard but when we struggled with issues or weren't online fast enough they would get angry with us, we started to feel after a few days that they were being really harsh. Our gov was worried that we wouldn’t be welcome and we decided to try and find a new protectorate, one who would be patient and help us with hard tech things that we don’t understand. WAP has dropped us today with no 72 hour notice claiming that we did not try at all to comply with anything they said, while also claiming looking for others protectorates is against the treaty. WAP deleted our embassy so we have no record of any of the conversations, but we have been working extremely hard. We have raised our revenue by tons, increased our members recruitment and found two government officials we can count on to help fix builds and help our guys get the help they need to learn the game. I honestly thought maybe they were just trying to motivate us but after they cut us we felt like everything was a joke to them and they never wanted to help us learn. It bothers me as a player, because I wonder why the norms seems to apply to everyone but us, when clearly the people inside my alliance want to be here with us and make things work, and be part of a community. It feels like because I don’t do well with a single issues and its hyper-focused on that this means I am a waste of their time, and that we shouldn’t have any expectations be given 3 days to leave. I remember last year other alliances who didn't give notice were frowned on. We had a rough time in recent weeks, and are sorry that we let our friends at WAP down and always want to make our allies proud to be a part of our team.

  34. Not giving a 72 hour notice got people in trouble last year. Whatever issues these guys had they deserved at least the bare minimum notice so they don’t get left high and dry all of a sudden. Hopefully someone picks them up and gets them help. This community needs to do more for smaller alliances to grow the player base.

Some stats (Damage done): CoC = around 2 billion TPK = around 900 million After taking so much damage and then loosing allies who drop them, we won’t take any names. they were forced to surrender to us. At first TPK were all mighty talking how strong they are and how they plan to give everyone in their alliance UP & AUP grants between the war just so they can troll us, after they look at their bank, they knew they f up. Soon they understood their limit. They are not fighting mortals but follower of God, the great god Canyon followers. The god that made wine into water by adding water in the wine. Peace Terms: 1. TPK surrender to CoC! 2. TPK leader will respect our god and our belief. As the first step towards peace, they will pray to our god with us and try to ask for mercy for mocking our god that started the whole conflict. our god is real, he comes online in discord and give us guidance, we have proof that he walks the earth with us. Leader of TPK praying to our god in our server #Temple-of-canyon (never disrespect our beliefs) 3. TPK pays 420 million to the cult for the damages they have done, and this money will be used to spread canyon religion around the world. Here is the proof of them sending money. 4. CoC will have mercy and sign a NAP for the sake of TPK Survival. Turns out they have done a merger to become something order (https://politicsandwar.com//alliance/id=12422) so the NAP will move to this new merger alliance. we are good people after all.

  41. Hello Reading this title you're probably either confused or rolling your eyes. So let me clarify a few things first. When I talk about raiding restrictions I'm talking about the restrictions that were put into effect after the NAP (no raiding c10+). But I'm also talking about 90% of AAs having a DNR (Do Not Raid) agreement with atleast the top20 AAs. Before I go too much in depth about these, allow me to share a few facts about raiding. At C20 most people make between 80-120mil net/week farming, A C20 raiding with no DNR can easily make 300m NET/week raiding during peacetime and close to 500m NET/week raiding during wartime. On top of that the amount of money invested into infra is microscopic compared to farming. Yet, only very few people do/have done this due to either not knowing how to do it, or if they do know how to they're not allowed to. But why are we not allowing this, well let's look at a few arguments I've seen. "People don't want to have to be active all the time to defend against raids so getting raided might be causing them to quit the game." So let's get one thing straight. Any raider that's raiding for profit and is actually halfway decent will only raid nations that have been inactive for a few days. So anyone who's actually reading this is automatically safe from profit raiding, (unless you don't know what "depositing" is). "But bruv, the inactives don't deposit" THEN TELL THEM TO, YOU'RE A TOP20 ALLIANCE, PLEASE. If they don't respond- well then you either give them warning-> kicking them or you can choose to keep them around for.... *cough* taxes *cough* like a certain few top alliances *cough*. Also I don't want to go too much into whataboutism, but what's more likely to get people quitting? A singular raid or a singularity war against your micro AA for 2 months getting cycled over and over? "Yuh but broskii, my AA just got out of a war and we want to rebuild hurr durr durr" Alright, besides briefly repeating myself that actives members generally dont get raided (I'll come back to this in my "solution"). I get it. You have this c30 dude in your AA, didnt do much, but we need the absolute most amount of income, so we're forced to get him to 3k infra so that when he goes inactive he gets raided and we lose infra value. Also you don't want to actually play a game you signed up to play, so you don't off-shore often and you lose a bunch of AA bank every time one of your members gets beiged. There's no way either of these could've been avoided, absolutely 0 chance. Okay, look. I know it's super easy for me to say an alliance government doesn't do enough or whatever. People need breaks, I get it. Taking a relatively big loss occasionally is gonna happen then. But that's part of it. Also I thought a big part of this game was being the best AA? Here's one more chance to prove that fact. "Raiding takes effort, not everybody wants to do that" Well, then don't. Accept the fact you're going to be growing slower than someone who raids and that's that. It's actually quite common for people who are more active on a game to have an advantage over people who are not. "Arrgh and other micros allow raiding" True, but those alliance members are isolated from the whole peace-war-cycle and political world. It's sort of just everybody doing their own thing and if you enjoy that, perfect. But I think forcing people to make that sacrifice just to allow them the fastest growth is stupid. So now that I've talked about why i think allowing raiding isn't bad, let me talk about why i think it's good. Raiding is more fun than farming, it's something to do and makes you more interactive with the actual game Raiding is fun in my opinion, ofcourse it's not for the majority of players. But for the minority that does enjoy it, or will enjoy it without even knowing because they're following DNRS, it's great. Yes it requires effort, but realistically I'd say a solid raider can get away with spending 15minutes spread over a day raiding. Raiding syphons money from the inactives to the actives. Those who are willing to raid and raid properly are obviously more active on average than those who don't. We're effectively helping a very select few actives to catch up to the long time players/whales. Something that people have said should be made easier. So now that've stated why I think banning c11+ raiding is bad, how would I change the current DNRS? Make nations who are 2+days inactive (red) eligable to be raided at all times. I think this would greatly benefit those who want to spend that extra 15min/day to catch up to the upper tier faster compared to what we have no. The amount of available targets will increase exponentially. Also friendly reminder that logging in once a day takes literally 5seconds. Hell, you could even do 7+ days inactive (purple) instead of 2+ days. It wouldn't help as much, but it'd still be better than what we have now, But I'm going to be realistic here, this won't happen. It's too much of a culture shift. With raiding being punished after wars now aswell (1 day wars at that even) we're shifting in the opposite direction. Ultimately not allowing raiding benefits the mass member AAs who are mostly the ones who decide on what happens in the game. Either way, I still wanted to put this out here because despite this definetly not being changed and the current DNR staying the same. I can only hope the game doesn't continue to go towards the removal of raiding above the micro tier. If you've made it this far, thank you for reading my WoT, let me know if you agree/disagree and have a nice day

  42. Congratulations to Carthage and Aurora on their successes. While as a Roman it pleases me to see Carthage off the map KeK, they were an old alliance and very respected and it saddens me to see Carthage go. The same can be true for Aurora at least for me. Despite our issues last year Aurora did so much for Rome the year before hand and I always enjoyed working with @ToxicPepperand @Xi Jinpingand AlexW during the time we were their prot when Aurora was in Clock and then when Aurora upgraded us into Midgard. Congratulations to everyone involved and @Krampusand all the govs of both groups coming together to create something new and enjoyable. You all have nothing but my deepest respect and I wish you all the highest levels of success this year. Good luck to everyone, and happy hunting to my old friends and I hope one day new friends too.
