Tuntian System is a national project that boosts food production nationwide. Rates increase by 1 per Farm per 2,000 soldiers.

Projects could in future be changed so you get choices between them or you can actually upgrade them. For example the above could be a variant you could choose instead of Mass Irrigation (which would be closed off to you), or an upgrade to it. At 100,000 active soldiers it'd match Mass Irrigation and as you add more soldiers it'd get better and better though it has it's obvious weaknesses.

Corbynite Technology:

Makes soldiers, tanks, and everything else be worth 100,000,000 times what it is now. So a soldier would be worth 100,000,000 soldiers.

 

Cost:

Everyone likes free hugs!

Change the cost to just 1 billion dollars and Rozalia gets it for free. That would be perfect.

Then we increase the price and resources necessary to build it? And no one is forcing you to get the oil reserve

This project would drop the cost of new cities by 5% similar to what the CCE does for infra and what the ITC does for commerce.

Project Effect:

On soldiers: 1 soldier is now capable of doing 2 soldiers' damage (with munitions). Soldiers use 1% more munitions.

On tanks: 1 tank now worth 45 soldiers. Tanks cost 2% more.

On aircraft: Aircraft do 5% more damage. Aircraft cost 5% more.

On ships: Ships do 5% more damage. Ships cost 5% more

On missiles: Infra destroyed formula changed to: Infrastructure Destroyed = MIN( (RANDOMBETWEEN(350, MAX(550, (Population Density * 3))); missiles cost 10% more

On nukes: Changes nukes to Fusion Weapons. Formula changed to: Infrastructure Destroyed = MIN( (RANDOMBETWEEN(450, MAX(750, (Population Density * 3))), also can destroy 5 improvements; nukes cost 10% more

Small description: Department of the Army organizes the ground forces of the nation. It increases the effectiveness (and cost) of soldiers.

 

Project effect:

 

1. The effectiveness of soldiers are increased by 50%.

2. Upkeep and food consumption are doubled both in peacetime and wartime.

3. Recruitment cost per solider is $3 a soldier.

 

Resource cost: 100 steel, 150 gasoline, 5,000 food.

 

Cash cost: $7,000,000

Effect:

+0.5% treasure bonus per treasure owned (Self)

+0.05% Alliance treasure bonus per alliance member with this project (+1% per 20 members with this project) per treasure owned. (Alliance)

Effect:

Military Reserves System (version 2)

Effect:

Increases military improvement limits as follows - +200 soldiers per barracks, +15 tanks per factory, +2 aircraft per airfield, +1 ship per drydock.

Small description: Greatly reduces the morale of your enemies by constantly blasting provocative messages with loudspeakers over the borders and allow your planes to airdrop pamphlets with persuasive messages over their borders.
Project effect: Nations that are currently engaged in war with you will have 30% chance to only gain 50% of soldiers upon enlisting. When you have air control on them, the percentage increases to 80% and you gain as much soldiers lost this way.
 
(they try to enlist 10,000, 30% chance they only get 5,000 instead. When you have air control, those 5,000 soldiers defect to your side without increasing your 'soldiers enlisted today' number.)

Small description: More manpower and more work equals more stuff and more buildings.


Project effect: Increases the maximum number of slots for each improvement by 1.


Resource cost: 100 steel + 150 alluminum


Cash cost: $20,000,000


 


This next one is very controversial.


 


National project name: Slave Labor Camps


Small description: You sick tyrant! This improvement is definitely tempting...but it comes with slavery...would you destroy freedoms in the name of progress??


Project effect: Lowers the cost of building a new city by 5%


Resource cost: 500 steel + 100,000 food


Cash cost: $35,000,000

Small description: Your citizens will defend their homes in defensive wars.
Project effect: Your citizens will defend their home with munitions in defensive wars based on your city's approval rating, independent of your nations resources. This scales with your approval rating. If it is 100%, you will have 10% bonus to your ground soldiers in a defensive war.

Reduces the amount of pollution an improvement causes by half, increases the capabilities of wind farms by powering 500 infra instead of 250, and increases doubles the capabilities of the recycle center from 70 pollution index reduction, to 140 pollution reduction.

Small description: Enable you to train Spec Ops which perform at high level than average soldiers. Spec Ops can take out Soldiers, Tanks, Airplanes and Ships at same time when on the offense. When on Defense, they set up booty traps, land mines that will kill 5% of the invading force.


Project effect: Enable training of Spec Ops


Resource cost: 500 Steel, 500 Aluminum, 500 Munitions. 


Cash cost: $7,500,000

Note: I haven't put resource costs for any of these suggestions because I honestly don't really know what would be appropriate costs.

 

 

 

National project name: Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Small description: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs gathers the best and brightest diplomats in your nation into a centralized agency. This enables your nation to negotiate more favorable treaty terms when you lose a war, and also stay at peace longer after a war.

Project effect: If you lose a war, the amount of money and resources you pay is reduced by 10%. Biege protection after a losing war is also increased by 3 days.

 

 

National project name: Tree Farm

Small description: A large amount of fertile land in your nation is reserved for planting large numbers of trees, in order to absorb greenhouse gases.

Project effect: Reduces pollution in your nation by 100 in each City.

 

 

National project name: Conscription Program

Small description: Institutes a system of compulsory military service in your nation for all physically capable adults.

Project effect: Increases the amount of soldiers you can train every day by 30%.

 

 

National project name: Military Industrial Complex

Small description: Creates a nationwide arms industry for the mass production of war material.

Project effect: Reduces the cash cost of Soldiers, Tanks, Naval Ships, Missiles and Nukes by 5%.

 

 

National project name: Child Subsidies

Small description: Creates a national system of welfare which pays parents sums of money the more children they have.

Project effect: Increases the rate of natural population growth in your cities by 20%.

Resource cost: Costs a lot of money, but no resources.

 

 

National project name: Raise Worker Salaries

Small description: Increases the salaries of all workers in your nation, resulting in greater productivity.

Project effect: Increases the productivity of resource harvesting and manufacturing improvements by 3%. Also increases the resources needed per turn by manufacturing improvements.

Resource cost: Costs a lot of money, but no resources.

 

 

National project name: Concrete Bunker Network

Small description: Builds a large number of concrete bunkers dotted around the your nation. When at war your soldiers can take cover in these bunkers to fight off enemy attacks.

Project effect: Increases the combat effectiveness of soldiers by 20% in defensive ground battles.
