  1. The title says all. I'm thinking about buying this improvement, as I've saved up most of the funds already, but I'm not sure if I should just pour it all into city growth, or to buy the international trade center project. Is it actually worth it?
  2. Oh oh! Add me! O: if you don't know us that well then just look at our blog and view our nation link! https://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/blog/84-southern-ocean-broadcasting-system/
  3. What do they plan to do about Abu haddad's desire to "enslave her and then proceed to have consensual sex with her?" xD
  4. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA I'm dying!!! I was thinking the exact same thing!! lmfao!! To be quite honest, I don't care what is or isn't haram as both the Q'aran and the Bible have extremely poor judgement in what is and what isn't moral. It's very hard for me to take your argument seriously when you say it "isn't haram".
  5. It's more a lesson in impulsivity. Turns out klemens WAS given approval by Vassili. *scratches back of head* uhmm yeah, sorry 'bout that klemens. But what klemens CONVENIENTLY left out, was the fact that the Governor did NOT get kicked out. HE RETIRED.
  6. Shush. I did read the whole thing before I butt in. I just somehow went off on a tangent.
  7. Oh wait...this isn't about the raids? .-. Nevermind then...yeah, then I agree with what he did...although I prefer he went to the leadership first...but otherwise yeah...bravo...good for him...my bad.
  8. And I'm not here to make sure that your feelings aren't hurt. I'm the minister of information. I'm not about to let anyone get lied to! Errr misinformed..
  9. Fine, would you rather have let your guard down? What i'm trying to say is that this apology isn't worth shit and that you shouldn't let your guard down. Nothing is actually being done to stop the raiding. In fact, I can use this thread as leverage to get him to finally do SOMETHING about it!
  10. ^ i'm saying this because I care about more than just our group. If we actually did something to stop the raiding as opposed to apologizing for it without anyone else even noticing that an apology was sent out, then not only will the raiding continue, but how will it look in the future if we apologize again? Our messages would lose credibility.
  11. Let me ask you this: is it honorable to tell everyone to let their guard down about a situation where they've been misinformed? How will that play out for YOU? You're the one with the potential to be raided remember?
  12. Then blame hawicki for trying to play the situation like it wasn't. He's the one who posted on the forums. I'm here to clarify things because a situation has been created by none other than klemens where I had to be honest. Look, we're not nearly as bad as you think. Much like how klemens only spoke for himself. The governor definitely only spoke for himself. But no one had actually agreed to anything yet. Instead of klemens trying to post this online. He should have taken your advice and confronted the governor directly, THEN take action on the forums.
  13. There's no honor in that. Even if I didn't tell you, you'd still have to confront the truth sooner or later. If SWF members are still raiding people, it won't matter if Klemens made it seem like we've reformed if we haven't. I'd rather be honest and burst your bubble rather than have it bite you in the ass. If our alliance wants to have a better reputation, then "pretending that we're good" is nothing close to righteous. If klemens wouldn't try to control and force us to govern according to his standards, (i.e. you must have an X amount of soldiers or you're going to be demoted to applicant) and instead made harsh punishments for raiders (i.e you're going to be demoted to applicant if you decide to raid someone), then I wouldn't have a problem with him trying to save our face. But honesty is what is needed. You were going to put your faith in an alliance that hadn't actually apologized, but rather, only one member apologizing. That would be a bad idea.
  14. Well to be honest, Klemens probably still be the minister. Because vassili has already seen it and has done nothing. I told him to do something about it, (like having elections), but he hasn't seen my message yet. Look. I'm not saying we support the governor. Many of us, if we saw the kinds of things the governor has said, wouldn't support him. All I'm saying is that I'd rather have an election. >___> Having seen the way klemens has handled things as interior minister, it's hard to know if he won't start demoting other members without approval too. Yeah, I'm trying to start a discussion within the alliance.
  15. Last I checked, in a representative democracy, representatives don't steal the positions of other representatives. Can you imagine the outrage if the senator of say...Illinois suddenly decided to take the state's other senate seat? There is still a democratic process involved in making policy, which klemens wasn't even doing. It had nothing to do with policy-making.
  16. So long as it's made clear that he speaks only for himself. I don't really want governor or klemens in the position of foreign affairs, as governor has too short a temper and klemens is too..."my way or the highway"....and I'm aware that it saved us a lot of trouble. But I don't like how he phrases it in such a way that it seems as if everyone was on board and everyone agreed with his actions. He speaks for himself and only himself at the moment. I honestly think that if we hadn't joined this war, it wouldn't matter who's in the foreign affairs position. I've never been in favor of us going to war. Every time we do join a war the end result brings the same feelings as when you spend 3 hours building a castle of legos and then the school bully knocks it down. I'm just trying to grow >_>
  17. Allah is merciful? So does he show any mercy to infidels? What does the Q'uran say about those who aren't islamic?
  18. Ugh jesus...please don't bring Malcolm X into this. . . . . .
  19. I'm not gonna lie. This was pretty cute x3 . . . I'll take the purple ones if she has any. Err...anyways, my reply above this one still stands. Please read that. . .
  20. Oi, I don't know who decided to take away his power, but if it's who I think it is, it's somewhat disturbing to me that a member of equal power was able to demote him and take the position for himself, all without the permission of any higher-ups. And to be honest, I don't know if I'm the most comfortable with Klemens being foreign minister. . .You should see some of the "decrees" he made in the past as minister of the interior. Rather than taking away someone else's position without any warning, why didn't Klemens talk to Vassili about it to see if it was worth having elections over? But as of now, Klemens holds two positions. All this happened without an election, without notification and without Vassili's approval. As such, I will be taking actions to make sure that Vassili does his job and reprimands Klemens for this.
  21. The !@#$?! Who took the rest of south america? C'mon, that stuff shouldn't be allowed! South america is just one nation while mine just awkwardly sits there! No one should take entire continents like that . . .
  22. What about ethnic cleansing?
  23. How much of your GDP does pokemon (the series, merchandising and games) account for?
  24. Well the things I have are generally the result of a completely different kind of society that came about as the result of a violent revolution. It would probably conflict with the rest of your constitution O_o
  25. Yes I know europe has mountains, but compared to the rest of the world, they're not that high, but perhaps you're right. About the polar regions, maybe the commerce cap will be like 50% or maybe even 70% As for ocean regions, when I said fisheries I meant fish farms.
