In the grand scheme of politics, Bernie isn't a socialist, he was barely a soc dem. The only reason he stands out as some "radical leftist" is due to the fact that the Democrats and Republicans have been splitting hairs between the centre right and right since their inception. Does everyone in an autocratic alliance believe there should be a dictatorship irl? It's a fairly even split between people who are on the right and the left. CM is just really vocal. Most people who are actual communists or far left wouldn't look to us as an implementation of their policies as we are not democratic. Virtually every self-identified leftist grouping will be democratic in some regard. Someone mentioned Frawley and Frawley is centre-right in Australia where he's from yet he's the one who came up with the system since it's an application of how NPO operates in every game adapted to the material conditions here. To be fair, a lot of the posters here are younger than those on our boards. I think our average age on the Mensa boards is about 25-27 now. That doesn't mesh when the meme out there regarding politics is the older you get, the more right wing you get. Logically based off that it should in fact be the opposite. There is a reason the likes of Spite tried (failed as usual) to attack me as being some 38 year old white guy down the pub. Most of Mensa is fairly liberal. It helps that they are, on average, relatively intelligent. Being oh so "intelligent" matters little when you're both deaf and blind to reality mate. I have a hard time seeing such people as being as intelligent as they claim if they can't understand such a basic matter.
