Give every alliance an API key with a number of allowed API queries equal to the allowed queries of it's members. Alternatively, allow members to "donate" their allowed API calls to the alliance or to another player. This would cut down on members of alliances sharing API keys with each other for alliance tools, and make it easier to build and use tools.

Could global trade offers made by allied members be highlighted a bit different, to make them stand out? Or perhaps move them to the top of the list? Also maybe a custom highlight option could be added so everyone can choose what alliances' offers each wants to be highlighted. Something like below maybe? And if a custom highlight option would also be possible, perhaps make each alliance offers to be highlighted in a different color?

Has anyone ever stopped to think how much time has passed since the game's creation? I'm not even entirely sure by this point. However I sometimes like to look at some nation's we've lost on the way. Alliance trade offers need to be merged into global trade offers. I agree highlights would be helpful! I made the suggestion a couple of years ago and Alex said it was on his list but it hasn't happened yet.

That's a false dichotomy, friend. It is not merely possible, but in fact overwhelmingly common, for either a 'joke' or a sincere statement to require an apology afterwards. Whether it be due to a miscalculation in humor or an escalation of heated rhetoric, mistakes happen on a regular basis. People are in general, though not universally nor exclusively, people. That's why apologies were invented: so that people could explain that they'd made an error and fully intend to correct that error as best they can. This, therefore, is why forgiveness was invented: so that people wouldn't be eternally precluded from having any room to improve. Lest we forget, he physically could not "not say it in the first place" without a TARDIS, and the statement in question was bad enough to warrant an apology even if it had initially been intended as a joke, so you're not leaving him with any possible choices with your absolutist logic.

If you don't mean it, just don't say it in the first place. If you were just joking, it was just a joke, so no apology needed. If you apologized, it was either not a joke, or you literally lost control of your mouth. The fact that you apologize makes me never want to deal with you again.

Uhhh, I know this may seem wrong, but I don't understand how he is using a racial slur, because he has "Ching" in his name. If his war declaration was "I'm Chinggis Khan, leader of the Ching Chongs!" then I would see where it is racist, but its not that. I don't think he was trying to be racist.

The only people who treated GOONS as a micro when they showed up were morons. T$ and Rose both out themselves out billions, the latter choosing that over aiding me, their then prot who just got peace with no bank and needed to rebuild, because they were actually intelligent enough to realize looks can decieve. Apparently some people didn't receive the memo about CN alliances. I blame Polaris for making it look bad, cause NPO, GOONS, and at one time even UPN, really did drive this message home.

It's truly awe inspiring to see all the shit slinging here coming from micro brained people themselves.
