Popular Post Uriah 'the Fox'
Hello all, a message from the leaders of Nova Riata and Statesmen! Pantheon and several of their and The Syndicate’s protectorates have recently committed themselves to a full and unprovoked attack against Nova Riata and Statesmen. While protectorates of The Knights Radiant, both alliances have been neutral since the onset of the Great War and were not militarized, prepared, or intending to become involved. Given that we’re now involved however, we’ll see you all on the battlefield. Statesmen and Nova Riata recognize hostilities with Pantheon, Afrika Korps, Sirius, Typhon, and Godfury. Enjoy the fight! Bill Rice
Godfury declare war on you, but only now you recognise that they're hostile? Also, if you really weren't militarised and prepared for possible involvement as a protectorate of the major targets of the war, that, was pretty stupid of you. 6

Don't think many new alliances are prepared for the #5 Alliance to hit them ? 6

And then there's Pantheon.
Shiho Nishizumi
It's not so much that you're a threat, but rather that when you're already warring the protector, there's little incentive for them to respect the protectorate treaty. You realize Nova rita is being hit by two alliances of similar size then you add in the Pantheon is attacking all empty slots even if they had started at full militarization they would of been rolled theres 1300 nation's on the other side for Nova rita, most of which are in range, Nova Rita stepped up even though they saw the coming thrashing and held with their protectorate can't ask for much else o7 to Nova Rita Edited October 22, 2018 by Bluedart 6

That's what I was thinking, Pantheon's perfect excuse to feel a part of the action was to hit someone who didn't even reach top 50 yet. Bravo Pantheon, you earned yourself a participation trophy. 13 I have no idea what I'm doing but that doesn't stop me from doing it.
Popular Post Spaceman Thrax
Best of luck to Statesmen and Nova Riata. There's worse things than a bit of lost infra. I guess Pantheon is making some kind of political statement about how you shouldn't linger in protectorate status while looking to TKR for protection. Probably trying to save you from ending up like an alliance that would pull a punkass move like hitting a bunch of protectorates to try and look like you're contributing to a global war effort, in the future. 1 15 1 Slaughter the shits of the world. Zary
To Nova Riata and Statesmen, big up for not just bending over and letting them have it. Gotta give some serious credit for that. But intentionally being demilitarized and unprepared? That's just dumb. I understand not wanting to make yourself out to be a threat, but with open targets amongst the combatants running low in a +2-1 war, you had to imagine the war boners were pointing in your direction. 1

I think their talk for putting up a fight is just talk(It makes for a nice OWF post though, have to admit), they sold or suicided away most of their mill day 1 and then tried to scare our prots with their new 'low score strat' 28 minutes ago, Spaceman Thrax said: Best of luck to Statesmen and Nova Riata. Forgive me if I am wrong in interpreting this as a jab at us, We didn't attack them to try and look good or try and look like we where doing a contribution XD I believe that's called a strawman argument, where you make up your opponents stance and then attack the stance that you made up to make to try and win an argument against them XD It's a solid tactic that works on a lot of people though embarrassingly enough, but it wont go far here As for NR, you are allied to people that seem to pride themselves in lopsided wars, if this is truly an issue for you and you find injustice in acts such as this, you may want to have some consistency and rethink who you associate with 7

I've certainly been wrong before, and I'm only working with what's in front of me, but feel free to enlighten me on the narrative where this isn't punkass, if you want. Bonus points if you can justify it in terms of how long your own alliance was effectively under political protection (much of which was from TKR, incidentally).
