Buorhann
Every war Guardian has lost has been under someone else's watch, typically during periods of Democratic rule. Were you democratically elected? 1 Quote Warrior of Dio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfPCFQfOnLg
Kadin
Were you democratically elected? Not in the first triumvirate period, but in the second, yeah. With three leaders democracy isn't as much of an issue because there are more chances of getting it right. With a single leader it's hit or miss. Phiney
Enjoying how you're saying you rely on results and then saying your results are based on wars won and friends gained. Isn't that exactly what guardian had under pre? You're really just going in circles digging yourself a bigger hole

Prefontaine
I wouldn't even give you a Minister spot. You do nothing particularly well and rely on popularity contests to gain and maintain influence. On the other hand, I am all about results. That's why it's so funny to me when someone like you tries to criticize. You truly do not even see reality. So I do nothing well but gain popularity? Seems like a good foreign affairs trait. But keep telling yourself I'm the one not living in reality. If you consider relying on old nations with lots of score results then sure. As far as actually building an alliance? Nope. That's why it fell apart so fast in his absence. Ah, so I rely on nations I helped foster growth in through our growth programs that I had a major influence in designing. I mean if it was so easy all of the original alliances would have had so many strong nations, hell, even more because they had far more nations than we did. I helped grow and foster an alliance that has lasted a few years shy of a decade, I truly have no idea how to build things. I didn't do it alone, that's for damn sure, but that was the point. I put people in places they would thrive. S'why I made you MoW during my solo leadership, cus I know you're going at that type of organization. During my time leading Guardian, our strength was one of, if not the most feared strengths in this game at the time. The other people in the running for that were our friends and allies. Things falling apart in my absence highlight the quality I bring to alliance leadership. Things were set up perfectly well for Shellhound when he took over. He just dropped the ball in a big way, and Tenages helped slap it out of his hand. Guardian "falling apart" is largely part to it having lived its lifespan. If Guardian's going to thrive they need someone new to take the reigns because I'm done, and it's definitely possible if the remaining people want to make it a reality. But that's on neither you or me, so I'm getting off topic. You're not a good leader, Kadin. You have good leadership qualities, but lack what makes a truly good leader. You're good assisting a solid leader, but leading alone you do not have longevity. Can we all just agree on the only thing that matters here? I'm beautiful, and worthless as a government member. You are a worthlessly beautiful figurehead. I hope they care your bust into the front of your ship so that the waves may break upon your magnificent frame.

Isn't that exactly what guardian had under pre? You're really just going in circles digging yourself a bigger hole You conveniently forgot this one. and grew/improved as an alliance This is clearly the highlight. And I am a vastly better option than Pre has ever been if this is what you're looking for in a leader. That's a fact. So I do nothing well but gain popularity? Seems like a good foreign affairs trait. But keep telling yourself I'm the one not living in reality. I hope they care your bust into the front of your ship so that the waves may break upon your magnificent frame. Prefontaine, I hate to break it to you, but every time I have had the misfortune of entering government when you left it, we have had to clean up your mess. The fact is that, without people outside of the alliance liking you personally, you have no redeeming features as a leader. You don't build or grow alliances. You are pretty much a frontrunner through and through, and without that advantage of being popular you fall flat on your face. You put people in positions where they will thrive.. Right.. that's why you made sasha and baraboo MoW. It has nothing to do with the fact that you wanted "yes men," I'm sure. You can say it, but that doesn't make it true. Even if people who wouldn't know any better happen to believe it. At the end of the day, Pre, you have never been as great as people tell you you are. It's a shame you've allowed the undeserved praise to get to your head so much, because your results simply don't match up. Guardian was feared under your most recent period of leadership because they had old nations with lots of score, and any alliance that had been around for as long as Guardian had in this game would have had the same. When other alliances started actually growing and improving, then Guardian got left behind. That's just the reality of what happened. You can have your little groupies and followers all you want to lick your balls, but it doesn't make you any good at these games. As always I will let the results speak for themselves. It sure would be nice if others would be more skeptical of all of your hype.

Buorhann
I'm waiting for the day that Kadin is leading an alliance. I want to witness the birth of a new empire. Avruch
FWIW, Pfeiffer has mastered staying in charge despite being widely regarded as a jerk. Kadin could learn from his experience, which is: build your own things so you get to decide who is in charge.

I thought it was more of him being the first to say "Hey, let's do this" and everybody else going "Oh hey, ok" and tagging along. I like the idea of us being lemmings. Gives us plausible deniability when we say stupid stuff that may hinder our FA attempts. Rabid lemmings, that is. 1 Quote Warrior of Dio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfPCFQfOnLg
Cuba
They moved forums for two reasons. 1) I left and felt it wouldn't be right to continue to own a forum for a alliance and community I am no longer in- so I pulled the license. 2) I legitimately forgot to contact Scatheon to have him fix the old SMF board that they could still use but for some reason aren't. If Guardian needs some of the old graphics most (or all?) are in the graphics thread on the SMF board. EDIT: And to back up what others have said: Guardian has had about a dozen forums over the last 8 years- it's only been since 2011 that they've been at the same domain and was only until this past January that it wasn't a SMF/InvisionFree board. But since 2011 the forum theme has been the same, overall, yes. Edited July 27, 2015 by Cuba Quote It's not how hard you try, it's if you succeed.
