  1. The Knights Templar have agreed to White Peace with Legion of Dawn beginning one turn after day change, today, May 14th, 2023. We would like to thank them for the entertainment, effort and we were glad to provide them with some military training. TLDR; KT and LoD reach peace.

  2. In an ever-chaotic political atmosphere, the Fighting Pacifists seek to maintain security. After a successfully-carried out peacekeeping operation into Midgard, the Legion of Dawn, now free of tyranny, sought to join its cause, seeking refuge in the noble cause that is pacifism. I. Peace 1. White Peace beginning 2:00 UTC, May 15 between The Fighting Pacifists and Legion of Dawn. 2. The Fighting Pacifists and Legion of Dawn will reset their relationship, and agree to mutual protection in the spirit of future cooperation under the following terms. II. Temporary Treaty 1. Mutual Defense - Both parties are obligated to come to the defense of the other should they be attacked.

 2. Optional Aggression - Either signatory may opt to cooperate in the other’s offensive wars, should they so choose.

3. Non-Aggression and Conduct - Both signatories are obligated to work in each other's best interest and not conduct nor endorse action against the other.

 4. Sovereignty - Both signatories acknowledge and agree to protect the other's sovereignty and exclude themselves from the other's internal affairs.

 5. Intelligence - Both signatories recognize the role of intelligence in each's security and agree to share information without hesitance or alteration in the spirit of mutual defense.

 6. Non-Chaining - In the event a signatory is obligated to defend a third party, Article I is waived.

7. Cancellation and Timeline - Both signatories are free to cancel this treaty at any time, but must provide a 72-hour notice. Upon signed peace between Fortuna and Anti-Fortuna coalitions, 72-hours cancellation notice will be automatically given. Tl;dr: The Fighting Pacifists and Legion of Dawn have reached peace and have signed a temporary treaty. /s/ TFP /s/ LoD

  14. Providing some additional warning for new players when building farms may help with player retention. In my recent random(ish) sample of new players, most had at least one farm despite their nation having been created after radiation reached 100% for this war. Most new players seem to build them for self-sufficiency, likely leading some to quit when they can't figure out how to not starve during these wars. Having some confirmation message like the trade screen for new players (say, <30 days or something similar) may help with player retention.

  23. As promised: 1. Which alliance fought the best this war? Why? As noted, harder to tell in a war that is a dogpile. I definitely think KT, Cata and Paradise fight above their weight class. Rose seems to be improving bit by bit each war and thus probably reaching where we'd expect them to be as the undeniable #1 alliance in the game in a lot of other metrics. On the losing side, I think Eclipse and Aurora deserve some recognition. Eclipse imo is still the best fighting major in this game. 2. Which alliance fought the worse this war? Why? t$, I won't deny that when t$ went on the offensive against GGO that I thought that maybe their milcom was turning a corner but... I feel like t$ has no clue what to do on the backfoot in a war. Which is surprising because since 2021 that is pretty much their entire experience. 3. Did any alliance improve this war or perform worse? Paradise improved quite a bit this war. Might be more evident to those who worked with them before, but they have definitely learnt quite a bit from those earlier wars. 4. Who was the biggest winner out of the war? aka who gained the most? I'll split this between Rose and Grumpy. Rose has now taken down almost all their rivals now. GGO split with part of it joining them. They rolled Cata (not really a rival but they got revenge), they rolled Eclipse, they rolled t$. The only ones they haven't rolled is TKR, and that is partially because others took care of it for them. Grumpy gets to make up for some lost ground due to the losing streak against Eclipse + TEst. 5. Who was the biggest loser out of the war? aka who lost the most? t$. Probably got more chances than they really deserved. I am not sure where they go politically from this, they seem unable or unwilling to change. An unstable and untrustworthy ally, with now one of the worst track records since NPO's departure.

  24. Meh. Having it as a percentage just means the down declares get more and more egregious the larger you get. A c35, for example, would be able to declare on a c24. And that c24 would be able to declare on a c17. I also feel like it should still take military capacity into consideration. It's just a really hard mechanic to balance and I think some of the community should sit down and try to work through the math as it stands and/or try to consider alternative, balanced methods of calculating score. Idk.

  26. Rose simply has the mandate of heaven. Facts about Rose: 1 - Rose has had over a million score before. Really a testament to their IA and econ policies. 2 - Rose consistently has over two hundred members. I think NPO had a lot, but I think only Rose has had specifically over 200 for so long. 3 - Rose's tiering gives them the upper hand in the upper tiers. They've very competitive, and all that mass is here to stay. 4 - Rose is a very old community. They have a lot of experience, and their gov is full of heavy hitters. This is to say nothing of the loyalty of their old guard. All these factors have come together to allow Rose to establish such a strong position in the game. And like, when I say they're old, they were here even before this current version of the game. There's also no real way to counter this either. Just bullying them is going to make them tighter and bring them together. You could get some bad actors to come together, infiltrate Rose, and maybe cause some damage that way; but that's a high-risk, low-reward strategy. It's a Rosian world, we just live in it.

  28. So, me and everyone else in the Parliament is super excited about the Orbis Olympics, yet we barely really know about the history of the Orbis Olympics thus far. Regardless, we decided to run for Congress, and we were actually able to get enough votes to be a part of the Congress. We'll try our very best to make this one of the best Orbis Olympics games ever! We're currently have many people training for the Orbis Olympics, about 579 people in our nation are going to the Olympics, and millions more are planning to attend the Olympic games in 2088. It even turned out that many people in our nation actually like fitness! Who would have thought a nation where it contains some of the highest mountains in Orbis (from sea level) would have such a large fitness community? Not me, that's for certain. Speaking of this, we actually received something about how we're influencing our people; however, we are working on ways on improving democracy and cracking down on any corruption that may be in our government. We're also editing policies and creating new things to allow our citizens and the Parliament to detect corruption in institutions. We'll even develop a more "Westernized" form of democracy, preferably one of the sorts to Canada's democracy. On my current status as the Sun Dragon Emperor, I would say I would be doing pretty well, but I got a bit of family matters to attend to. One example of this is the fact that we're actually planning some project named The Janguresian "TRAVEL ON!" Program. It's this program that'll allow at least 500 students from our nation, travel with us personally, to countries closer by, such as the Chittagong, Zullimanistan, and maybe even places like Tibet. It would be a trip that'll cost at least 100,000 USD, but it'll be so worth it, especially since the plans to have a study abroad University with Daverberg was cancelled due to the United Monarchist Republics of Jangurupureri passing a resolution that says that we aren't going to act as allies anymore. This is because of a land dispute between Systems and Daverberg, and our Parliament decided to go with System's side. On top of this, but my family will also attend S.G.III's baby shower. He recently went on maternity leave from the JTAL-194 news broadcasting channel, and me and my family figured that we could play a part in the baby shower, since he is one of our family's closest friends; however, we're having problems scheduling this on account that we've scheduled too much for us to do around the world, and even in our tiny little nation; however, I think it's all worth it. Well, I haven't quite posted on here for a while, and sorry about that, but you know, family stuff, national and international stuff and what-not. Oh yea, I almost forgot to mention. I took a bit of a political compass test eariler today, and here is what I found out about myself: I don't know what this means exactly, but it does explain a-lot about my moral compass. I always figured that I was more liberal in terms of social policies, but I didn't know just how much my social values outweighed my economic values. I found this interesting, and I hope to understand just a bit more about my own moral and World views to be able to understand more about what this means for me as a person, you know? Anyway, Tallyho! I'll probably be on the forums again in a month or so!

  29. Since you have 9 cities, I do not recommend you produce food. I would instead consolidate all those spots to producing something more profitable like bauxite or aluminum. This will probably help you especially in wartime since everyone needs aluminum in war. You'll be able to use this money to buy yourself food on the market. I also recommend once we have peace, you store up food for situations like these. Alternatively, larger alliances have large supplies for their members so I highly recommending an alliance that has a better idea of how the game works and can help you in times of need.

  30. QoL improvement suggestions: 1.) Add seconds to the in-game clock and to denote when attacks/war decs etc. occur 2.) Add more statistics to war battle logs - A lot of this stuff is already captured in the action log it just doesn't populate in the battle log. It may seem superfluous to include troop changes in every war timeline across potentially 9 different wars - but it helps understand how things unfolded without opening up every single war history. 4.) Add more achievements/badges - maybe open this up to the community for ideas. A badge for 1 million tank kills, maybe one for holding a treasure, etc. 5.) Create exclusive alliance badges in-game - There are small badges that alliances can win on their alliance page, and players can pay for. But there should be badges that alliances can create that people can add to their nation profiles.

  31. My boys in paradise showing why they should be a top 10 alliance in the game. Probly mayhem, despite this war being a dogpile and easy to stat pad off Fortuna, they still have negative net. TFP, was expecting them to be average due to the number of nations in their main tiering range. But they proved me wrong and remained just about as consistent with their wars as the majors, so props to Shwin and the rest of TFP gov. Grumpy for finally being able to avoid a war lmao. They hit the jackpot this war and should enjoy the peace while they can because I don't think the game will let them get comfortable for too long. But they deserved the peace tbh. It's pretty obvious who lost the most.

  32. Paradise but I'd like to highlight other alliances that have been putting in good performances. 1. Dark Brotherhood is pulling their weight well for the 2nd war in a row, what's great about this is that they're showing consistency so the performance in Bifrost was clearly not just a 1 and done type of thing. Good show 2. I can't remember the last time House Stark fought, but clearly they're not entirely rusty. 3. Bourbon Street actually has higher unit kills than both HS and DB, so shoutout there too. 4. The Fighting Pacifists, huge points for fighting on 2 fronts for awhile. Ballsy of them. No one has been standout bad in comparison to previous wars. Even UPN & LoD have some positives to take out of their wars. For improvements I'll be biased and say CTO, at the same time we could have been much better in some area's. Room for improvement. For worse I'm going to say all of Midgard. Most of their C30+ tier had opportunities to rebuild to max or near multiple times to our detriment and despite the abundance of nations that was able to do this most just sat back and waited for their beiges to expire while we slotted them and pulled them back to 0 multiple times, squandering the possibility to come out on their own terms, co-ordinate and pull down our smaller nations between C20-25. Grumpy. They got a nice view of the chaos up there on their mountaintop of tranquility. CTO for the peace terms with Midgard. As well as a much needed PR boost for war performance. Poor WANA, although his villain arc has been quite entertaining and actually needed. Maybe a loss for him but a gain for brining some life to Orbis in other ways. Aurora took a PR hit that's probably worth noting, however Aurora has also been one of the most entertaining alliances the last half year, unfortunately this is the price that's paid.

  33. I think the top couple have been Rose, Cataclysm,KT,Paradise all have done very well and carried weight effectively Paradise gets knocked down to the c11 screwing up and hitting early but they have fought super well the rest of the war and redeemed themselves. No one has fought super poorly but TKR very much so whelmed me not bad by any stretch but not anything special like previous wars Got to give a shout out to LOD for performing a counter blitz and otherwise being more competent God I'm sounding like a broken record of everyone else but Grumpy is the big winner bypassing the rest of the games war and keeping growing while everyone else slugs it out. I could write this long but being honest tons of losers this war but I'm going to say T$ fa in general and more of Wana's sanity Shoutout to people in Eclipse, Aurora, and others you know who you our for being good sports about this and taking it in good fun.

  34. I would say the entire thing is GW27 but can be split into each individual conflict for more specific discussion. E.G. World vs Fortuna, Mid vs Evil Exes, KT vs LoD, World vs Cha Cha slide, Coven vs Aurora + Cata etc can all be considered as part of GW 27 as all of the participants were involved in the web of wars comprising GW27.

  37. I have a suggestion. What about we reduced the cost in game to get VIP from 28 million in game dollars to 5 million that would be a help to new players like myself who want VIP. That is my suggestion leave your thoughts down below. Bye-bye!
