  1. The bank may be empty but the salt mine out back appears to be doing a roaring trade

  2. For someone who raids, it is very annoying when you have 5 wars, and you have to do the same attack over and over. I propose a feature where you can select the amount of soldiers and tanks you want to use, the attack type and the wars you and to initiate it on. It well then use as many MAP's as possible, and attack as many times in all of those wars automatically. This would mak2 it a lot quicker.

  4. Announcement from the Church of Atom Gluttony is a sin, any believer in Atom would not deny this. Many in Orbis are great committers of this sin. You hide behind fat alliances, you participate in one round of war and then buy out of range so you don't have to fight. But what is greater than this sin? What could anger Atom so? Those who would whisper into others' ears, in hopes of coaxing more sin! It was Morf who suggested an alliance between Ro$e and HW. So it is Morf who brings fire upon his house! tl;dr: CoA declares war on TKR "I mean what's the worst that can happen, our infra is gone who cares? We just rebuild" -Casty

  5. EDIT: This post was a bit of a cluster-f. TL;DR: Fortify should ask the user what to fortify against (air, land, sea). If user fortifies against air, and opponent uses air-strike, then the attack will be severely nerfed.

  6. No love for Roy Mustang? That's the real MVP right there. And yeah, there are a few places Roq should be. None of them glorifying though.

  8. Hello everyone, Some of you may have heard by now but our beloved friend and comrade RedArmy has passed away this weekend. He died from complications from heart surgery, he was 33. Those who knew him already know this, but he was one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet. He would do anything for anybody, including driving 8 hours across the country to pick up another alliance member who was going through some really rough times, and helping them secure a place to live. Although we've only been playing this game together for 4-5 years, he ended up becoming like a brother to me, and to most of ASM. He was someone who would always listen to you, and help guide you through whatever rough patch you were going through. He was so genuine in an era where that doesn't exist. We went on an ASM camping trip last year, and it was a blast, except our first night camping we were crushed during Guns & Roses, and 3/4 of ASM's gov't was off in the woods drinking, out of cell service. Red was the only one who had cell service and when he got the notifications he promptly turned the phone off, and casually mentioned it to me a few hours later... deep into inebriation. Red was one of the most selfless people I've ever met, and that I will ever meet. He constantly gave others everything he had, whether it was emotionally, physically or even financially. He kept nothing for himself. This was true even in death. With his last dying breath he was able to hold on long enough to make it possible to donate several organs so that others could live. ASM will never be the same. He was the bedrock of our community, the glue that held a bunch of political stalwarts from delving into chaos every waking moment. There aren't enough kind words I can say about Red. Please pour one out for our fallen brother. We are heartbroken. If you are interested there is a gofundme for his family, i've posted it in ASM's discord server. In the interim I have taken over leadership of ASM. See you on the other side brother. Rest easy. Love Yinz.

  9. Announcement from The Knights Radiant The Radiants are declaring victory after Radiant Intelligence Services confirmed that TKR has indeed regained its #1 spot on the Nuclear Stockpile list. After CoA launched 274 nukes and had 137 destroyed by Radiant spies our primary objective has been achieved. We will continue a special military operation to widen our lead as they have many more nukes available to be launched or destroyed by Radiant spies. We thank Church of Atom for its support in helping us return to the top as the preeminent nuclear power in Orbis!

  11. You have tickled our infra a bit, and for that I salute you. You can bite a little harder though. I won't say no.

  13. Upstanding community members should go on such a memorial. I think it goes without saying who the first one would be. Ramona, Kurdanak, and Kyu as well - all upstanding, kind-hearted people that make this place better.

  14. DING! DING! DING! We have a winner folks! I was wondering who the first person to prove their lack of vocabulary by resorting to four letter curse words would be, and you, sir, win the booby prize! I congratulate you on being able to read my nation page, where, as you can see, I have been a member/gov of several different alliances while running a business completely separate from those alliances. Yes, on paper I am a member of The Federation low gov, however, I operate a completely separate bank that generally doesn't handle alliance funds in any way shape or form. Maybe you noticed the other alliance that was actually the offshore (I mean, it was named "Definitely not an offshore", so maybe you had a little trouble understanding the sarcasm - as you seem to have trouble understanding the fun and sarcasm intended in this post 😅)... Also, I don't technically categorize myself as a pixel hugger - I have participated in several wars - however, I also understand (and anyone with half a brain can also likely come to a similar conclusion) that the war system in Politics and War is little more than a joke attached to a RNG, and an opportunity for what essentially amounts to schoolyard bullying by keyboard warriors who may need to touch grass. Also, I wouldn't talk too much about an alliance's members/reputation when one has been in/still is in an alliance led by a player whose leader name directly references equine genitalia... And look, I didn't even need to swear... 😉

  16. A tale as old as time. Once-competent leaders who have run out of time to play the game, if your alliance is lucky they "retire" into an advisor position and help out now and then - but more often than not they sit in high gov chats simply to disagree with the current gov and offer contrarian opinions on the way the current people want to move forward. The exceptional retiree is great, but the usual are regressive. If you're unlucky, your leader retires mentally without ever informing anyone or actually stepping down. They gradually answer fewer pings or DM's, eventually it becomes an accepted fact that your leader checks in maybe once a day, once every other day, likely without reading most of the relevant information - and logs right back out. I've been guilty of it myself as leader or gov, everyone experiences burnout. The problem is when the retirees cling to their vestiges of power in every single alliance that the new blood can never rise to the top. It is the nature of things that newer, less experienced people come into their own time to do things their way. Stop preventing that in your alliance out of fear they'll "mess something up" because this is a browser game and competence is an illusion. 99% of alliances are trash unless their membership is hyperactive and engaged. If you want engagement then you need to do things and keep life flowing. A good gardener must cut away the dying leaves and branches to make room for new growth. That's not to say you should delete if you're old, just to say give other people a freaking chance. If you alliance is too far gone then disband and let people disperse into other communities that can benefit from the influx. Start up merger talks if you're too small to ever do anything. FREAKING RETIRE AND KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF THINGS disclaimer: There are some good retirees that genuinely offer service to their alliance. Hi Adrienne.

  18. If I am not mistaken, you explicitly state on your nation page that you are a member of the Federation. Please stop embarrassing yourself m8. You're nothing more than a pixel hugger and I'm surprised they keep you as low gov after this little charade. I guess that just has to do with the fact that they're so shit that your smear fits right in.
