  1. Be the change you want to see in the world. Coup your current alliances leaders and try something radical. Gotta put your money where your WoT is.
  2. I also have an announcement to make, although I really enjoyed my time leading Castle Camelot and the cool people there, I have decided been forced to step down, as Sheepy has fixed this glitch. I had many ideas for a bold new direction for Camelot's training alliance, I wish them well and hope they can find their way forward without my obviously visionary leadership
  3. Mayhaps the word thou searchest for is actually henceforth, or maybe hereafter? ngl I am starting to get invested in this saga now, thx for continuing to keep everybody posted 😂 Good luck in y'alls future wars
  4. This post is about Orbis in general, but since we're both TKR members, I'm curious if you think this applies to TKR as well, or just Orbis as a whole? As someone who has been playing catchup for the last year, I've felt that TKR's programs are pretty good. What city count do you think alliances should boost new members to? I should be able to hit C25 before too long, and I think that's a respectable city count, and will be due in large part to alliance help. I think Econ programs are good, and I'm not necessarily opposed to taxes to fund them. On the other hand I'm not sure if I see the problem being as big as you do. I've seen some people climb very high quite quickly. I don't think having players spread across a reasonable range of city counts is necessarily a bad thing, although I suppose that's not exactly what your arguing. I'm definitely open to changing my mind on this, if you can help me understand that it's more of an issue than I realize. I think what would help me understand best is a more specific idea of what kind of funding and cities you do see funded for new members around Orbis now, vs what city count you think alliances should fund to. TL;DR: Afaik most big alliances do have good programs for new players, curious about what specifically you'd like to see.
  5. I'd just like to second this, but I'm too lazy to send a screenshot, happened to me as well
  6. So, currently, I'm really struggling with the Wars API, and figured I'd post here to see if anyone smarter than me could help me resolve this issue. The wiki says the Wars API can be filtered by nation, but I can't make this work. For example, baseurl/wars/?key={api key}&nation_id={my nation id} I think should generate a list of my countries most recent wars. However all I get is the default Wars API, showing the 100 most recent wars, as if the &nation_id filter isn't there at all. Is the API just not functioning correctly right now, or am I doing something wrong? If anyone can help me out here I would be super grateful.
  7. Some things that I would love to see added to the Nation API: the nations GNI would be very useful, and I think that seems reasonable to add. It would also be cool to see a nations total improvements in the nation API, such as total number of iron mines in all cities, so if I wanted that information I don't have to access the API for each city and add them. I don't know if that would be easily implementable, but I'd love to see it.
  8. I would just like to second Norval's case here. The alliance as a whole has a few things that are so outside the realm of normal I can't help but be suspicious. The alliance score as a whole has almost tripled in a month, and new nations have joined at a pretty ridiculous clip. They haven't been advertising, and neither I nor anyone else I know received recruitment messages from them when we joined. I've only been playing for a couple months now, but it does seem far from normal when a smaller alliance recruits at a rate that dwarfs the rate that other actively recruiting alliances have. Norval also notes a few other things that members of the alliance do that are atypical, following certain people's raid targets, members start raiding the same people just before joining the alliance, etc. All in all, I think it would be unreasonable to not be at least somewhat suspicious, and I really think this deserves at least a little investigation.
