  1. Just over a year ago Mad Max, Tiberius and I began discussions about what came to be Atlas Technologies! Atlas Technologies is a technology firm that we started to bring multiple developers, technologies, and investors together. Our initial investors Chara and Tomogachi joined us on our journey to develop a company that would invest in the future. During our time in PnW we have invested in over 80 nations with over 40 currently in our company. We have invested over $5B in our nations, incalculable amounts of time and more. I want to thank @Han Solo specifically for the time investment. He has spent hours developing relevant training material, time training easy and difficult members and programs. I’m not much for words, but I do want to say thank you to a few specific people as well. @Mad Max: For believing in this vision and convincing Tiberius and I to take the leap. Tiberius and Chara: For filling in positions you didn’t want but doing them for the good of the alliance until we found replacements. Eloco: For taking us through our first global and stepping into chairmanship while I am away. @Tali: For being the best FA head we could hope for, advice giver and friend. @NightKnight and @darkbladechan: For developing the bots we use to protect and educate our members. Shout out to Colossus and Veritas. @Aero: For being our connection to Camelot at the time, getting us the protectorate and introducing us to Roselot. To the rest of our staff thank you so much for choosing us! Thanks for investing in your fellow staff, cannot wait to celebrate year two with you! Thank you for attending the annual investors meeting of Atlas Technologies if you have questions comments or concerns: I'm headed out to the lake and I'll be gone all weekend long But I'll call you back when I get home on Sunday afternoon And P.S. if this is Parched_ I still love you Jordan Chairman tldr: Atlas Technologies turned one year old today.

  3. Imagine being so egotistical and delusional you feel some sort of innocence in all of this. The fact you're blaming the investors is actually laughable. You fanned the flames by not making any announcements regarding the accusations. TOSE took it upon themselves, as a regulated stock exchange in orbis to protect their consumers by halting shares being traded and launch a formal investigation. This is what you would call due diligence. SEC auditing irl. Also the consumers will be getting far more back in assets that were frozen than they ever would have received if they went along with your forced buyback. Not to mention the forced buyback wasnt even at market value/book value as you so claim. You literally just nitpicked the way you would buyback the shares in a way that would ONLY BENEFIT YOU. GNPI shares were split to be valued at, at least 40 each. You wanted to give 17 each. TGIF easily worth 850 each and you wanted to to give 660. MERC were being sold at well over $100 per share and you wanted to give $1. SKYF was lifetime selling at $9900 and you wanted to give $2600.

  6. As a protectorate of the United Armies, The Monarchy humbly declares its existence on the 5th of March 2021. TM was formed two months ago, but I'm proud of where we currently are and hopeful for the future. Let's be honest who's interested? I, King Shephard, has created the next successful alliance, along with the multiple government members who aided me in the creation and success thus far. Come on, dude. Wrap it up. So here we are! Onto the next chapter. Feel free to contact me or TM on our Discord for FA relations. God Bless The Monarchy! Is this a Micro Moment? p.s we killed sylvain monarchy rip

  7. I don't see why it's such a problem for people to do more damage when they get dogpiled. If all this does is incentivize pixel-huggers to think more carefully about how not-so-easy their planned 3 vs 1 is, then it's doing the right job. If you win or lose, war isn't supposed to be painless. There's a large difference between "loser weapons" and wanting to hide scot-free at 8k score with full military and 3k infrastructure. You can rebuild like everybody else... Mechanics should be there to make wars interesting for all combatants, and they should allow everyone to make some ground if they're willing to fight for it. With all of the other changes making it easier to attrition a weaker opponent, this is among the mildest of tweaks that could've been made for a nation losing bc of out-tiering or dogpiling. Also, afaik Yarr/Pre are among the people who tend to hide at high scores, so this doesn't make sense that he's doing this from a personal motivation. The attacks I've seen seem to be in pretty bad faith. Frankly, I thought pre's personal interests would've resulted in him scrapping the results because of how close it was. I'm glad he went with the majority view.

  12. Taith has gone paperless. Leaks to follow in this thread once I get approval to post. Many men have lost money in Greene and Taith's schemes, and the day is just about to begin. Tonight though, I invite all of you to join us at the Scam server for the downfall of Taith. All are welcome. https://discord.gg/CWj6wdYHzN

  13. I love how Preacher Dan always passes the buck, and shifts the blame. Lets be clear - by a very rough estimate by our professional analyst (not TOSE aligned) you were asking us to force Taith Shareholders to lose between $7 and $10 BILLION via your buy back plan. Fair? Equitable? Absolutely not. Don't pass the buck on us, your inability to face confrontation head on is the reason this happened. OR you planned for it -- thinking we'd follow your marching orders. I've got news for you Reverend....there is a new Sheriff in town; and he doesn't bend the knee to your smoke and mirrors. ...to all the potential warriors; have fun!

  17. On March 5th a small group of regular peoples decided to branch off and create Atlas Technologies with Jordan, Tiberius, and Myself as the original leaders within the alliance. Since then, we have created a pretty damn awesome community - developed a leadership team to help out new players to the game and keep the engines running - saw a new Chairman take hold of the direction of the alliance, and participated in our first war. Our community members worked to build our image through numerous graphic design advertisements, in-house engineering to create user management systems and our own Atlas discord bot, and even an ecommerce branch to provide merch to our members. We've pushed ourselves on social media to get more people to the game and possibly to our community, been featured numerous times on the PW socials & even on the new PW App! But we couldn't have done that all in a year without our friends, family, and our kick ass members! Happy Birthday Atlas!

  18. You lot asked for Taith to hit the floor. Be careful what you wish for. We submitted a solution to TOSE that would pay out folks equitably. They refused to do their job. So if you have problems, go speak to them. GNPI, MERC, SKYF, all gone. TGIF? We were going to honour it however TOSE tried to hold us hostage. They believe that they hold all of our wealth, so let them figure it out. We are arranging trustees to run our Banc Cymru, and we aren’t leaving the game. Bring on the declarations. We dropped all our treaties. I’ll edit this to add our flag shortly.

  26. The infrastructure and improvements destroyed for missiles/nukes is RNG as well but that is besides the point. For all the conventional attacks, an utter failure still causes damage to enemy units. With Iron Dome as it is currently it is really just all or nothing with a missile. That's why I was all for the suggestion of Iron Dome being a flat 50% damage reduction. But then people have a problem with resistance always being guaranteed to be lowered. I see their point and in my opinion Iron Dome should block resistance lost x% of the time but letting there be infrastructure damage caused by the missile itself always.

  30. He just doesnt care along with everyone else from taith. They are mostly mad because we didnt allow them to keep the crash of their stock going. They were intentionally allowing it to fall and not providing anyone with updates in hopes of furthering its demise and buying up all of their stock for pennies on the dollar That's the real issue going on here.

  35. This is quite possibly one of the dumbest responses I've ever seen. "Of course they didn't tell people the vote would matter! If they knew that, they would have voted for the choice we didn't want to go with even harder!" Frankly, the fact that you dismiss my criticism that my vote didn't count toward the game change because "it would most likely have been for the smallest change" is disgusting and indicates that you are part of the problem. So much about this vote would have been different if people knew it would have actual weight behind it instead of just being a 'how do you feel' poll as it was presented. You are part of the problem of the administration and development team taking absolutely nothing the community says or feels about the game into account. You are what is wrong with Politics and War. You claim the proof is that the vote surged after the thread was closed. Why don't you care about the fact that the thread was closed before the poll was, which does nothing but imply that Pre waited for the result to be what he wanted before closing it before the poll closed. There is an option when creating polls to close it at a specific time. The failure to do so or indifference to its scheduled closing is despicable and completely destroys any semblance of innocence on the part of Pre.

  37. Sounds like you need to build more infra, smol boi. Anyways, I came to this thread to reaffirm what I said in the poll: I don't think we should get a say in a small mechanical balancing option. Should you listen to feedback? Sure. But when it comes to balance, everyone has a vested interest based on personal experience that doesn't necessarily reflect the whole community.

  38. As already pointed out, the vote was in favour of changing it when the poll was closed. If people knew the vote was going to spark change, then alliances would have nudged their members to vote in favour of what benefits them. The proof is in the pudding because "no change" mysteriously received a surge in votes from people largely contained in one alliance after Pre said it would result in actual change. This comparison is also faulty because there is a big difference between 4 physical people with vastly different personalities, promises, and beliefs versus a mere 5% on these changes which likely isn't enough to magically shift someone away from wanting change altogether. Finally, if you let those people who voted for no change cast another vote on what the percentage should be, they will inherently be united in favour of reducing it by the smallest amount possible. Conversely, those that genuinely wanted to reduce the percentage will not be (and were not) consolidated on one number and thus no good-faith or meaningful change is actually achieved, despite that being what the majority wanted and no, I'm not counting people that voted after the poll closed. If anything at all, there could be a runoff poll containing the 3 most popular percentages among those that actually wanted the changes (25, 30, and 35) and everyone can decide between those three.

  40. I'm pretty sure that the main source of micro-hatery is that when micros post properly in the same place as huge alliances do, they're diluting the impact that the huge alliances are so greedy for. Also nobody hails anyone like they're Christ, wishing someone crucified is rather against the rules I'm pretty sure Grats on the boolying boolies, it's my favorite pastime too, but bruh. Clean yourself up before you stink-shame, I can literally* SEE how stank you are rn 🤢 *"literally" used here for literary and rhetorical effect as opposed to unironic factual effect, though the difference is negligible outside of an academic context

  41. To have fallen so far and learned nothing. The leadership is not to blame. As much as you and your elitist ilk like to pretend that online nationsim politics is so hard and advanced beyond the means of the everyman, it isn't. Anyone can aspire, politic, and plot. It's your archaic methods in the major alliances and the entanglements of treaties that bind you thusly. Do you want PnW to be interesting? DEMOCRATIZE YOURSELVES - No nation should be slave to their alliance. The alliance should answer to the people. Your typical defense is OPSEC, which is laughable. What opsec have we seen in PnW? Every member, gov or otherwise, rushes to gossip about any unfolding event as quickly as they can. Democracy or no. Plans leak, wars spark, and that is thankfully the only thing that drags politics forward through the mire in which we find ourselves. You want more interesting things happening? Tired of the same old leadership? Then democratize and start seeing turnover and new blood. Your members aren't inactive, they're merely disinterested in investing three years of their lives to maybe get promoted into a position that you'll simply steal back when you unretire every three weeks. gov should be elected via some method, especially the top leader. Arrgh, for example, elects the Grand Admiral and then he/she appoints the rest. treaties, wars, and major decisions should not only be a vote but a discussion. Are you tired of nothing ever happening? SHED YOUR PAPER - I'm really not sure how treaties got carried over from other nationsim games like we learned nothing. I expect because in CN and other games we were too strict, too opsec, too self-contained within our own element of government that we didn't inform the masses who came here and took up the mantle. Treaties fricking suck. They kill intrigue, they kill plotting, they kill politics. Treaties reduce this game of would-be thrones into a mundane exercise in contractual obligation. Congratulations, you're simulating a relationship with a bank. So fun right? FA heads tell me honestly - who do you spend the majority of your time talking to and what do you talk about? It's not your allies unless you truly have a special relationship. You spend your time trying to make new treaties. Upper gov the same. You spend all your political time and energy trying to do something new. Something new is fun, exciting, as it should be. Yet you simple-minded apes can't connect the cause to the effect. You sign a treaty, you now may get an occasional check-in from that ally. More than likely, you'll get radio silence for awhile because the fun has been had and the honeymoon is over. The thing people fail to understand is that a paperless alliance can also obligate itself to defend another alliance. It's an agreement like any other but it's not announced or celebrated and it comes with risk and opportunity. If you agree to defend someone and don't hear from them again until next year - that agreement may be revisited. Similarly, it opens opportunity for politicking on another level. Backstabs, betrayals, disloyalty, plots... Things we pretend to decry in public but crave in private. Just some early morning thoughts from your friendly neighborhood Pirate.

  42. This is side not while reading the comments. However your crime is inexcusable, the German Reich was left wing. The only thing they were right wing on was the social scale but so was Stalinism so its still not an excuse to conflate Nazism with Conservativism when Stalinism held almost entire the same beliefs minus cultural superiority (even with that many Russians did and I think still feel cultural superiority towards the Ukrainians, Latvians, Lithuanians, and Estonians). The German Reich removed property rights given to them by the German constitution, consolidated corporation in 13 companies, dictated what these companies could and couldn't make, stated how much they could charge for the products, the corporation had to get government approval for any expansions, need approval for the usage of resources, and corporation incomes were taxed to where they barely made anything. The Reich also repeatedly increased family subsidies from 39-42, had state sponsored holidays, united all workers unions into one (just like Lenin), had rent control and price controls, tried collectivizing responsibly of German peasant farmers debts among all peasant farmers, and hell the even had !@#$ Commissars. In the clubs and association also were forced to conform to the government regulations and requirements and made the individual subserviently to the community those are anti-right beliefs. The Reich was a massive failure when when it came to implementing fully socialism because they wanted to do it after conquer lebensraum, living space, in the east because they need the resources to do as such. Because, they failed does not discount everything else they did and did not mean they were on the right at all. They were failures not right winger. (side note within side not but most modern Reich-winger are still on the left from everything I have researched) I have 107 references if you want to if what I am saying is in fact true but that would be way to much to post in this one message. Last thing, good sir is not what your doing presenting unhinged and ludicrous rhetoric. You want to make it seem like you are an authority with how you say just putting your opinion out there. I couldn't have said this any better. Good Job. 1) Instigators and mob rule. Rioters are hard to stop then start simple as that and blaming people other than the people in crowd actually starting it, is stupid. 2) Honestly probably nothing most of the people seemed to be doing their 15 seconds of fame with like 1 out of 30 being the hostile element. 3) Anti-mask sentiment runs deep because people are tired of the political bs around the virus and, probably more than anything, the double standards that politician put in place if you want the truth. Pelosi and getting her hair done mid lock down with no mask or the new york politician at the restaurant.
