There is a pretty big chance that the majority of the players here are not even close to what they represent themselves as in the first place; some just like to troll and offend for the sake of getting others worked up; some like to actually read and prove others wrong because it is fun to always be right even when half the time you are still wrong; Some just like to meme the planet with the latest meme-pron; some actually give a shit about the actual realities and overall people like to regurgitate the lies being told to them by our media sources on the "realities" of world events. I am not interested in weighing in on the issue itself (though I do not think any bans are warranted here). However, since the rules have been brought up several times now, I would like to point out what I feel is a small flaw in the wording used:
 

Vulgar language, mean comments, Nazism or Nazi related names and titles, Terrorist organizations related names and titles etc. are not allowed and will result in your nation receiving a strike.

"etc." is a very broad term. Does it cover oppressive regimes like Franco's, as was discussed earlier, or does it allow for such in the name of roleplaying? Are Nazi's and terrorists the only forbidden groups? Unless the "etc." refers to the "names and titles" only, in which case how far does this reach? Would it include anthems, chants or war cries used by terrorists?

 

It's not a big deal, but I think a clarification of these terms would help mitigate some of the confusion in this thread that stems from different interpretations of the game rules.

Seriously, there's a bounty on my head if I ever pop above 0 score. If you guys hate Ibrahim so much, why not simply just move to attack him, then deal with the political consequences later? If the attack is limited to Ibrahim, do you have a guarantee that DHE would intervene? And would tS and Rose decide to support their ally, in a game where treaties have been something of a joke, over a radical Islamist who has shown consistently bad character?

If you only judge him based on the debate thread, where his muslim opinion naturally collides with yours, then you fail to grasp what debate means. If you only want peaceful democratic flower answers, then please, make a private chat with friends.

If you are saying supporting genocide, rape, discrimination, pedophilia, slavery, and so on perpetuated by a band of lunatics is part of his culture then I'd say you are the one being offensive here towards everyone else of his culture. Additionally no one is attacking him OOC for his IC actions, but on his OOC views which has been largely contained to the discussion/debate sections which are for OOC matters. Most of those things you listed are tied to more nations than just the Islamic State. I'll highlight Pedophilia because that is a clear example of how nation values regarding age are vastly different, even between western countries.

Muslims countries are all different so Muslims wouldn't be all like him, but as I said most of those things you listed as bad about the Islamic State have ties to many countries and not just the Islamic State. .
