All the ways previously mentioned, plus if you tax resources, you can sell them on the market to make a bit of money.

As the Alliance leader, put EVERYTHING you make into the Alliance. Selling overstocked resources is a good way to generate profit too. If you have no members but a couple of leaders, set that tax rate to 100 or near to it.

But what's the real cost? ‘Cause the sneakers don't seem that much cheaper.

Why are we still paying so much for sneakers when you got them made by little slave kids?

What are your overheads?"

For your alliance, specifically - set a moderate tax rate and then recruit recruit recruit. You guys need to grow past two members if you want to start pulling in a substantial profit for your alliance, honestly.

Taxes, resource sale profits, donations by members/leaders, etc to get the money flowing in. Then invest a small part of that money in trusted nations, low tier ones preferably. This, in turn, will increase the incoming money via taxes. Repeat the cycle.

We actually kick and raid our inactives. And our tax is too low for that to work for us anyway.  But a big alliance that likes having the most members...it makes sense there.

Are you referring to the top 3 alliance on the leaderboard?

I'm saying if you're a big alliance with a lot of members and you don't kick inactives, higher taxes with aid flowing back to actives makes a large degree of sense, as long as your IA team has enough time to manage it.
