  1. There comes a time when we all have to look back and reflect. How far did I go? How many people have I met? What have I accomplished? There are many other reflections to be had but these are the ones that stand out most to me. I’ve come more than a long ways from when I first started this game. I was just some teenager living with my grandparents, barely surviving. In the 4 years I’ve been playing this game, I’ve long since moved out, across the country to be exact, bought a house, learned new work skills, and now have a fiancé. I never would’ve thought it’d be this far. Gosh the amount of y’all that I’ve met and made friends with is more than I’ve realized. It’s thanks to some that I’m still here today tbh, not this game but alive. Through all the ups and downs they never left my side. Some I barely talk to now, some are still a day to day chat, but nonetheless, still my friends. Accomplishments? PnW? Do they even go hand in hand? 😂😂 I’ve been in several big name alliances: BK, Rose, Fark, and the ones I’ve led: Project Freelancer, Sunray 1-1 (2018 edition, the OG), The Redgiment, Sunray 1-1 (new), Sunray Victoria, and The Hive. Each one was treated like my baby until the end. Sadness isn’t a thing I would think to show when leaving this game but, I will truly miss you all, even the ones I don’t care too much for. Who knows, I may be back, may not, depends on how I feel in the future, but until that day comes, farewell Orbis.

  2. An Address From The Office of the Conscience of the Hive As of today September 18th, 2022 (server time) our beloved Caboose has unfortunately decided to departure from his position from Hive and leave the game entirely. In his honor we will be flying a blacked out Hive flag in his honor. Caboose will not be forgotten for his work with Hive and Sunray Victoria. We wish him well on his future endeavors, and if he chooses to return to welcome him with open arms. We ask you all to do the same. As result of this the diarchy and the conscience position will be dissolved and reorganized into a Absolute Monarchy lead by the Queen Bee. MinesomeMC will be crowned as the first Queen Bee. We Thank You For Your Time. Long Live The Queen Bee!

  3. One of the neat tricks you can do in the game when buying infrastructure or land in a city is typing "@ specified value" in the box where you'd buy that respective thing. It makes rebuilding after war so much easier if you don't have VIP on your nation, which allows you to use the mass purchase infrastructure tool. It's also nice when building new cities, as they start out with an odd amount of infrastructure and land (10 infrastructure, 250 land). However, one of other things about rebuilding after war is that you might have to demilitarize. If you end a global war with a huge military, you need to disband a significant chunk of it, depending on your alliance's MMR (Mandatory Military Requirements). It would be nice if you could just set specific unit type quantities to a set amount, rather than needing to calculate how much you need to disband. For the base 4 units (soldiers, tanks, aircraft, ships), you should be able to type something like "@3fc" to set your tanks to the amount that you could support if you had 3 tank factories per city, or a specific amount, such as "@100" for your ships. If you can't recruit that many units, it should also allow you to buy the amount you can recruit. Would be a nice quality of life feature.

  11. My issue with this claim is that Roseclipse is competitive in or holds an outright majority in basically every tier all the way down to until the micro level where war doesn't really happen on a serious scale, regardless of what other sphere you compare them against. Their experience matters, of course, but Roseclipse can't lose those tiers either, since at the very least they will win all of the high tiers and then just use that to downdeclare and win the lower tiers too if necessary -- as opposed to GGO, who does not have mid or lower tier support available in order to downdeclare past a certain point. This is why according to pretty much everyone outside your sphere, Roseclipse is unbeatable. Not tier-locked, just outright unbeatable. I agree, and I think people value whales too much. The issue is that your alliance, Eclipse, is one of the single alliances that has pushed the narrative of prioritizing whale tiers more than anyone else. Really all of these recent events are just the consequence of actions like that.

  12. I don't see why new people need more money. The idea is to encourage them to join an alliance. As to raiding, that's what we need to bring back. Many of the changes in the last few years have been aimed at stopping raiding. This is a mistake. Raiders add spice to the game and keep the pixel huggers on their toes. I've helped a few new people in this way. Even if they don't become long term raiders they no long are afraid of getting their pixel singed.

  13. We already slightly have that problem with deleting cities, true, but deleting your nation every now and then goes a lot further in my eyes, which I'm concerned about. I'm very concerned about the meta becoming "alright, your nation is too old, delete your nation now". I don't think that's the kind of attitude the mechanics should encourage. Beyond that, it still has roughly the same problem as before with higher city nations doing ground attacks and eating all of the money, though it's not nearly as extreme as the other options, since people can't just do it forever (unless making people delete their nations becomes meta).

  14. Allowing inactive players to be raided by anyone would be a massive nerf to new players, and a massive nerf to them catching up via raiding, since the good targets would be taken by the higher-tier active players who would also earn more money from the wars due to having a larger ground force to loot more from GA's, meaning the lower-tier raiders would struggle to get any slots, therefore making far less money. The rest of the suggestions seem reasonable, but letting anyone raid low-tier inactive targets would hurt new players far more than it'd help them.

  15. Y'all can't be serious. GGO has less than 100 members. You're currently beating them in a war without using the full size of your sphere. What the !@#$ are you smoking? It's like y'all saw that t$ admitted it's paranoia around GG and you took that as an invitation to dive in and show them what real paranoia looks like.

  16. What a horrid sphere. If we didn't stand a chance against em then good f//ing luck to the rest of y'all, especially when they start coming for you. Shows how much some people really care for the idea of minispheres. To Rose, who switched from one largest sphere to another and complained about the same things happening this war in GnR, To Eclipse, who have preached minispheres so much but who would never practice it if not for their allies leaving them and assured us they did not have plans to sign Rose, To Weebunism, who decided to declare war on HW for the exact same things happening this war, And to ASM, who, well, it's just too easy: I wish you all good luck. This is truly a match made in hell.

  19. I couldn't possibly imagine a more fitting follow-up to Celestial than seeing the #1 and #2 alliances join together to form a new sphere.

  22. With the feedback from this thread where the vote is currently 50% in favor of some change and 50 in favor of no change, that's enough to try and more detailed flesh out some of the concepts: Partial Superiorities: Two IT's are required to gain superiority over an opponent. This does not require consecutive, you can get a Pyrrhic, Moderate, etc... in-between the ITs. If the opponent get's a Pyrrhic Victory or better in that arena (ground v ground, air v air) then it breaks the partial or full superiority in that arena. Getting a partial superiority gives you half the benefit. The second IT ground attack only destroys 50% of what it would for planes. The third IT kills the full amount. The first IT air attack reduces tank effectiveness by 50% of the full superiority Additional ideas: To improve Naval use, an IT with naval units could reduce an Air Superiority by 1 step. If they only had a partial superiority it resets to zero, if they had a full superiority it reduces to partial. This only impacts air or ground separately, not both at once.

  23. “It’s the end of the day, but it feels like dawn, and a new beginning. It comes to me that both twilight periods are, in fact, symmetrical events on opposite sides of midnight, a cycle of endless creation and destruction, an Ouroboros.” As the sun rose, Rose drove east—away from the desert she arrived in all those months ago. It seemed her work was done there, and it was time to find a new path, perhaps a new beginning. The legends of the starship that made worlds tremble were not exactly where she thought they were, as surveying the stars left her with empty hands, in the end. However, she had caught wind of its presence at a place where the moon crosses the sun, so here she was, driving as fast as she could towards what she figured would be its next location. Alongside her was her longest friend; ASM had been there time and again for her, and she was glad she could rely on them once more. After moving east, the directions took her north, then west, then south, until she ended up where she started. Rose exited the car. An entire day, lost. What was wrong with the directions? She had driven from sunrise to sunset, and she ended up at the empty desert where she started. However, she then noticed it. The massive size of the ship seemed to dwarf everything in its proximity, but Rose immediately knew that it was exactly what she was looking for. After all, ships rarely come that large. Alongside ASM, she approached the ship, waiting for whatever it brought forth. It then occurred to her that despite the massive ship, everything else was incredibly similar to how it was in the morning. She had been driving through the day in a ring, arriving at a time when everything was exactly how she left it. Above, the moon moved between the sun and the world, casting its shadow. The Daemonship opened; two figures stepped out and approached the pair. The figure on the left spoke. “Hello there. I do believe you two are who I am looking for. It seems that we’ve ended up in a place not dissimilar to where we’ve been previously; seemingly, we’ve gone in a circle. If nothing else, it does seem to be that we’ve been making our way to you all along. My name is Vein, I pilot this ship. To my right is Empiur, they have been a worthy ally and friend through many months.” Rose smiled. “This is ASM, and I am Rose. Pleasure to meet you.” TL;DR - ASM, Eclipse, Rose, and Weebunism form Ouroboros. 24. I'm out of here. It's impossible to join an alliance, they offer no help, it takes literally forever to build up your nation, and I just got attacked by THREE DIFFERENT NATIONS. I'm sorry, this game is a waste of time.
