    The D

Can confirm durmij's show is great. So great we spent 10 hours more on voice even after the show had already ended.
  2. Technically, no. You are still talking to someone, just not talking with someone. There's a difference. If they can't hear you, it means you're talking to them, but the talking is not being reciprocated.
  3. Let the placement of taxes at certain levels/upon certain factors be something the alliance's policy dictates, rather than an arbitrary tax setting. Simply introduce tax brackets, and the ideas already presented, alongside a multitude of other Economic policies, can be implemented. They can be implemented right now, but with a load of spreadsheet work, and continuous withdrawals/deposits. Tax brackets would simply streamline the process, and add an extra tangent to intra-alliance politics.... all things I'm in favour of.
  4. ...I wouldn't mind having such a thing. It's an interesting idea, though I don't think the community is particularly open to having such a thing at this time. Maybe when all is ending and Alex is going to pull the plug?
  5. Sketchy. I've suggested this in the past too, Alex doesn't seem to care too much.
  6. ...condolences to the rest of the world.
  7. In no particular order: -Vanek, if you know him, and have served under him, you're going to love him. Staying up til 3 AM helping with battle-plans and warring is something I can respect you for. -Jessica Rabbit, having had been at the helm of many of the strategies t$ has come up with through the years, and generally thinking mathematically, is something I admire. Furthermore, she's capable of giving a value to abstract ideas, which is something I'm sure quite a few appreciate. Aside from that, she's down to earth, something that's hard to do when you're being praised 24/7 -Kemal Ergenekon, aside from being the resident Turkish Economic Overlord, and being an absolute beast at Econ/Math, it's always interesting to see him debate (was here, seeing as he made a bet, is at the eUS forums). His usage of xdxd is also on point. -Partisan, aside from being capable of writing glorious walls of text, he's exceptionally articulate, both relating to IC and OOC matters. -Dalinar/IC, he's an exceptionally smart leader, and has shown incredible foresight, planning FA and military moves accordingly. Through his and a few others efforts, TKR stands where they are today. -Anneal, Anneal's one of the most rational people currently around that posts frequently. It's an interesting quality that should be encouraged, imo, even if that rationality brings up stuff your alliance would rather not show to the world {barring OPSEC} -Senry, when he isn't in a shitposting mood, he's shown himself capable of understanding and solving problems. And spreadsheets. Spreadsheets count for a lot. -Ripper, a great guy to be around, a capable raider, and someone that likes Science and Math. Knowing a bit of what he does IRL, I can safely say that he'll bring the average IQ of any alliance up. Those are just the ones that come to mind... I'm sure I could bring up many others, but these guys have really stood out.
  8. o/ Pantheon o/ KT You've been great protectors, and gone beyond what was required thusfar. Let's see where this takes us. (Yui bring cake pls)
  9. Discrimination at its finest. (Worst?) #GiveBotEqualRights
  10. KT obvs Mensa. They have Dio. and rainy
  11. o7 RIP Shifty, Golden Meme Era -> Normie Era
  12. Great to see more paper. Not. (That's one dopeass flag OWR.)
  13. It isn't brilliant, though. The entire point is that it isn't accomplishing what they 'wish to accomplish'. If, going by your post, their objective was what you've stated it was, they've missed it by a wide margin - all I get, as a bystander, is that they need a safe space where they can't be criticized, or be the target of opinionated posts. The whole point of having credible FA is defending your actions, and doing what you can to maintain, or improve PR. This simply says, "We're lazy, we have shit FA, we want a safe space, pl0x don't criticize us. kthxbai." The funny thing is, your entire post talks about anti-hegemoney people targeting Syndisphere by comparing them to a bunch of high-schoolers, which is amazing, considering the next part of your post: So you want people to shake hands, except - going by your post - IQ wants Syndisphere to look like a bunch of highschool kids in a clique? I'm sure your post does everything to quell all anti-IQ opinions people have by saying that IQ views Syndisphere in that way. Way to go, fam, way to go. Never thought I'd see the day someone's post would completely override their own post xdxd. Edit: Grammarzz
  14. Interesting. A cancellation, rather than a new treaty. A welcome change. I wish you all the best moving forwards.
  15. 1. That's what I'm saying, though. Dunno what it came off as me saying, but requesting such a term is well, stupid on Inq's part, which was the point I was trying to bring about. 2. Exactly. xdxd
  16. I'll only say two things: 1. The 2nd term is quite possibly one of the most stupid terms I've come across; it achieves the exact opposite of what you wished to achieve with that term. It sounds forced, and quite honestly just says, "We were trying to be nice, so we gave a consolation prize to Inq: We won't collectively shit on you." The wording is also interesting, "[...]can or should be construed as humiliating or degrading[...]". Yes, I'm sure that very sentence doesn't humiliate you further. 2. So then, no clause about Inq' CB being valid?
  17. Although I agree with the majority of your post, it is inherently flawed due to one simple reason - you're responding to a shitpost by Senry. Responding to a shitpost is bad itself, but responding to a shitpost by Senry, now that's just on another level.
