Fox Fire Posted October 30, 2015 Share Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) 19 days ago the Republic of Foxburo was re-established after the eruption of Mt. Aen caused widespread destruction and chaos. The cities of Vytal and Kalakovgrad have been restored to order however peace is not quite at hand. The remainder of Foxburos cities still remain in chaos and outside government control as martial law is in effect. The Sionnach party has also taken to piracy, aligning the government with Arrgh and raising a new black flag. Since the recapture of Vytal and Kalakovgrad, Foxburo has launched several attacks against members of Viridian Entente causing concern among citizens that the government might be losing it's mind. President Fox Fire assured the nation that the actions of the government are what's best for Foxburo in a pres conference earlier this week: We have all suffered and experienced loss recently, but we are rebuilding. I know the decision to join Arrgh and get involved in a war so soon after re-establishing order does not sit well with many citizens, but I assure you this was the proper decision. Arrgh has already helped us immensely in rebuilding our cities and establishing our military. It's only fair that we return the favor and take to their defense. We will continue rebuilding as it is necessary in these tough times. Be strong and help your fellow Foxburan in need. We promise that martial law will end as soon as it is no longer necessary. Despite Fox Fires words and the installment of martial law, small groups of what are thought to have previously been looters and demonstrators have launched several small scale attacks on government buildings and soldiers. The attacks do not appear to be on the same scale as those prior to the Foxburo Civil War and most perpetrators have been apprehended. The future of Foxburo is uncertain though order seems to be slowly being restored to the devastated nation.
