I now want this feature to see what juicy secrets Thrax is concealing in his in-game messages and doesn't want us to find. Joking aside, I won't address the rest right now, but I don't love uncapping the number of spies while keeping low recruitment. That's the way it was back when spies were originally released, and the end result was basically a massive disparity among spies. Some dedicated folks/alliances (I was one of them) built spies every day until they had hundreds and were basically untouchable on the spy front, they had great odds against everyone else and were basically impossible to take down come wartime, if enemy ops actually succeeded against low odds, then losing 10 spies out of 700 was inconsequential. In practice it meant a lot of people didn't even bother with spies as the guys who built two every day had baked in advantages. It's part of why spies were capped in the first place, putting everyone on an even playing field allowed for more competition, and meant some big nation with hundreds of spies wasn't the be all and end all. I think it's best if they spy cap stays.

That topic does not include any potential for vigorous debate over the minutiae of an action Mensa took two years ago, and therefore is an entirely invalid topic of debate. Clearly all the threads are an NPO plot, every time Roq's name is mentioned he grows more powerful. In a few complaints time, he will be able to raise the dead alliances to do his bidding and give NPO new cities with his mind. The cycle must be broken!

Hey, speak for yourself man. I used to feel that way. Used to.... Then the first defeat came. "Don't worry", the government said. "It's only a temporary setback, we'll be back soon enough, and victorious too!" Then we went to war again, and again. Some small victories were won, but at great costs which only hastened defeat. So many nations lost, reduced to rubble, deleted, banned forever. Their names became too many to remember, flowing like ink through my hands and onto the pages of surrender documents. Alliances disbanded, and new ones rose around me. "Don't worry", they said, "this time shall be different. Just do your part, and we'll win." Every time, those words inspired new nations to throw their infra away in the millions, but I knew better. Unending defeat was all I knew, but that had long ago ceased to move me. The ruined nations carpeting the fields of battle no longer suffer in this world, but I suffer the cruelest fate of all, for I am still here. Now I walk the world numb and alone, no longer knowing why we fight, or who I fight with. New nations, new coalitions, new leaders with bold promises and plans. They do not know defeat, but soon they will. Perhaps then they will understand, realize what they have done, see losses stretch before them and then they will be like me. Success? Perhaps someday I will escape this torment for good. But peace will not come so easily.

So I feel kind of bad for just noticing this now, but the whole "eye-sword-tentacles" logo on the IQ flag is a pretty cool symbol. Did someone make it or did ya'll get it from somewhere? Also, congrats Lordran and IQ, and best of luck to all involved.

Can confirm, thanks for all the votes folks! Looks like I saved this joke for too long though.... I was offered votes today, by an alliance leader. In exchange for that, I was supposed to advertise some kind of alliance bloc to my allies. Of course I declined because I am a person with high moral standards and a strong willpower. Just as strong as the Inquisition, the premier alliance bloc on Orbis today, helmed by luminaries like Roquentin, and now accepting new members!

Send your 12 city nations in waves, three at a time against the 26 city nation. Eventually, the 26 city nation will be to tired to fight back against your (((low tier hordes))) and quit the game or something. It's such a sound tactic that I'm surprised nobody's thought to try it befo - wait a minute..... The nation with the planes does an airstrike! The nation without follows! When the nation with the planes is beiged, the nation without picks up the planes, and does an airstrike!

Hm, I do think a bigger fuss is being made about this than it deserves. These votes have been popularity contests every year, and have been stuffed by whichever alliance or group of alliances wanted to win stuff at the time and put in effort. The first year it was tS, Mensa and OO, then last year it was TKR and tS, and now it seems IQ is trying to get themselves some awards. Were people unhappy with who won every year? Absolutely, I remember people complaining pretty heavily whenever someone won who they thought absolutely didn't deserve it. That's just what happens with these sorts of votes. I'd encourage anyone who wants them or their alliance win to get someone to nominate them and then get out to vote, you can absolutely win! I mean, I won worst alliance leader last year just by bugging people to vote for me, and managed to unseat some tough competition. If TKR members want TKR to win, you guys should get people out to vote! Message your fellow members, remind people why you think TKR, or any nominee, earned their top spot this year. All you have to do is try! And regardless, not winning isn't a massive loss. If Zeebrus doesn't win "Funniest Player", that doesn't mean they aren't funny or well-liked by a lot of people, and I'm sure all those who believe that now won't change their minds! So yeah, please don't cancel the awards, that's just cutting off the nose to spite the face. I can assure you guys a lot of people are having fun with these, I'm eagerly awaiting the "Worst" category so I can campaign and defend my title! The effort is really appreciated, and clearly a lot of activity has been sparked by these, which is great! Letting anyone ruin the fun is just doing a disservice to yourself and all those who are having a good time. I mean, when Kastor ran the awards last year, he didn't throw a fit and cancel them because people voted him "Worst Player" or "Worst Forum Poster". It's not too often I say this, but everyone should be more like Kastor in this situation. Get out and let people know, have some fun with these. After all, they're only once a year!
