[TREATY] VT-GATO Optional Defence and Optional Aggression Pact
durmij replied to JMKeynes's topic in Alliance Affairs
I'm not like those other girls micros. Please date sign me. Edit: for clarification, that's a shot at the gang of idiots who are incredibly emotionally invested in the purity of this subforum. Congrats to the parties involved. -
methinks something has gone wrong in such as way as that it's rendering the Unix Epoch instead of actually calculating time https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time#:~:text=The Unix epoch is the,-01T00%3A00%3A00Z.

You have to fight a war before Alex will make changes!
durmij replied to Kastor's topic in Orbis Central
typical, but far from the worst thing kastor has done on a radio show 👀 -
It's computationally expensive for something with no real benefit. The goal is to make turn changes shorter not longer.

Noooooooo. Technology bad!!

On behalf of the Anarcho Primitivist Alliance of Orbis , I would like to congratulate our secret agent Alex for successfully ridding the world of both money and production in one swift action. Now we can all live in peace until the ripe old age of 26 like nature intended. Anyone trying to return us to the old evils of civilization will be met with our overwhelming righteous fury. We stand ready to meet our foes with rocks and slightly sharper rocks.

It appears that everyone's military expenses got multiplied by several orders of magnitude. If only we had a server to test code before we push it live.

Turns out taking game admin advice from Noctis is kind of dumb. Who could have possibly predicted that?

This ranks up there with Elijah's "My wife went into labour as soon as you attacked her nation bro. I'm logging in to VM her" for stupidest attempt to coverup multis in game history.

The fact that the player who used game mechanics to send 1488 to a black woman is probably going to have more nuanced and thoughtful take than these two chuckclucks speaks volumes.

This is my least favorite Methrage account.

OP, you're my least favourite Elijah multi.

No thank you.

Would you like to speak to his manager?

A flat bonus is better than a percentage at that range. Good concept though.

When this settles to around 4k, can we have a conversation about player retention and ease of entry instead of just pushing newbs through a meat grinder and assuming they will be fine because other's were?

First strike advantage used to come at a significant political cost, before everything was cordoned off into two distinct spheres. There is also the fact that getting counter blitzes could leave the original target practically invincible as their slots would be full of non functional nations. The defending side has come out on top in multiple wars. Alliances have come back on top 1v1 after getting blitzed. It wasn't the be all end all of warfare. -

There's some good sprinkled in with the terrible. It's like a chocolate cookie but with bullshit instead of dough. -
If this is going to get added, we need to add the one true political ideology, Carlism.

TL;DR, it turns out Turing was just an experiment architecture that's going to age horribly and the 3000 series is going to obsolete it immediately. Feeling really dumb about putting a 2060 super in my partner's computer.
