I've been spending all morning trying to come up with a way to work Hereno's habit into the war name, yours is a bit better than anything my mind was puking out.

 

Although it wasn't much of a war anyway, hardly deserving of its own naming thread.

What war? I don't consider a one sided stomping as a war. There's no point in actually naming a rampage that wiped out a creative alliance. Leave it as Hereno said, Mensa-SI conflict and move on. I mean they've move on, why would we the unrelated ones have any right to name anything?

 

There is no point in giving fancy names here. Treat it as what it is, which is Mensa's arrogance. My ingame character is anti-communist, but as a player, what Mensa did left a bitter taste in my mouth. Don't glorify it with fancy names.

I think it stupid to even give this a name; it was an argument that escalated to a a skirmish. It lasted what, 2 days? And I don't mean any disrespect to the former SI in saying how short it was, it's simply fact. Giving it a name gives it more importance than it merits. Just move on. SI members have, Mensa has. The only people who haven't are the white knights these forums love to produce.

 

Shit, if we name this, we might as wel name every raid ever committed a war and come up with a "creative" title for it.

I think a name is needed. I think this should go down in the record books anyway. Who cares if they didn't declare officially? It our job to record Orbis for the future people that join. So lets go ahead and put it in.

There will be dozens of insignificant wars (more like a kerfuffle in this case) like this one in Orbis history. Only wars that leave an impact really need to have a unique and/or clever name.
