Orbis World Population

As of March 29, 1989 (equivalent of February 9, 2015, at 05:02 pm, server time), in Orbis, the world population is 416,586,525 (more or less), across 2378 nations. On average each country has about 175,151 people (rounded to the nearest whole person).

Now the question: When will Orbis reach 500,000,000 [REDACTED DUE TO DEBATE]? 1,000,000,000? Or even 7,200,000,000?

there isn't any population limit, but job limitation which can suit everybody.....

if you go check the distribution of the nations, there are lots of land wait to be occupied....

the no. population isn't a big deal even it grows 100+ times bigger, we need people to keep the society running.

Yeah a few others and I use it. Orbites is also decent. Not very cartoon-ish, lends a neutral tone to the message.

Anyway, coming back to the topic...

Is there really a limit on world pop.? I wasn't aware of that.

Orblings is a term sanctioned in the holy Baa-ist texts.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a roll.

There is one you will follow. One who is the shining star, and he will lead you to beautiful places in the search of his own vanity. And when there is no more vanity to be found, he will leave you in darkness, as a fading memory of his own creation.

"The common man is like a worm in the gut of a corpse, trapped inside a prison of cold flesh, helpless and uncaring, unaware even of the inevitability of its own doom." - Unknown

Flesh.  Flesh to carpet the land before the tread of gods.  Flesh that consumes until it, in turn, is consumed.  Flesh that would embrace damnation for the mercy of being freed from chains they have carried all their lives for the sin of being Flesh.  Flesh that would sell itself for the barest hint of a purpose that would allow it to transcend Flesh.  Flesh.

Suddenly, this turns from a population-related talk into a name-related talk...

@Hereno: Yeah, but who sanctioned the name "Orbis"?

We should prevent the number from reaching beyond 500,000,000 by purging random nations regularly.
