The last person she texted was the guy she was had feelings for before jumping to her death. This isn't really news. The sad and honest truth is that it's an every day occurrence. Over one million people die by suicide worldwide each year. On average, one person dies by suicide every 40 seconds somewhere in the world. 1.8% of worldwide deaths are suicides. Global suicide rates have increased 60% in the past 45 years. Â Of course, you're talking to someone who doesn't consider suicide to be be bad and has experienced too much to not be numbed by it. Just remember that the universe is not sentimental, and if it makes you feel better, I believe in Karma. You were born for the sole purpose of living, so it doesn't make much sense to end it. I'm not sure if you've ever felt suicidal. I have. But I'm probably not the best person to give anti suicide advise. You just never know what the person sitting next to you is going through. I don't think bullying will ever go away, unfortunately, because some people must assert their authority over others in order to feel worthwhile. However, everyone else can help out by being nicer to each other and looking for ways to be inclusive. IMO life is more fun when you have all kinds of friends with diverse characteristics and backgrounds. GMOs, chemicals, technology and modern medicine have created a society completely dependent on technology. If Monsanto alone disappeared one day, the world would starve to death.
