Public Flag Competition Vote

Here we are, you guys had a week to submit flags and now we'll be holding a vote for our next public flag. Remember, this flag will be made available for any nation to use (if they choose), and will be named "Flubb". You can vote for multiple flags if you like, but we'll just be taking the one with the highest number of votes to win.

 

Voting will end on Sunday night at midnight, server time.

The rules for this competition are that each player can only submit one flag (if you post multiple flags I will only take the first one that you posted), flags have to be appropriate and approved by me, they must be 250px by 150px, and the submission period will last for two weeks. I will take all approved submissions and post them in a poll thread where you will be able to vote for your favorite flag. This voting period will also last for two weeks, at the end of which the flag will be added into the game.

BTW, kinda funny that Sheepy never made an announcement in-game to create a flag but did so to vote for a flag. I guess it was to cut down on the amount of submissions.

Short answer: No

Long answer: The competition exists because, when PW first came out, you could donate to have a public flag. Flubb purchased one but it was an SS related flag and Sheepy removed it. Now, a year later, after Flubb mentioned it in the IRC channel, Sheepy decided to hold this competition.

 

Now, Sheepy could always change his mind, but he has stated that this will be a one time thing thus far.

I think it'd be cool to have something like this every so often. Not once a month, but maybe once every 3-4 months, or even once a year. Even if it's not a cool thing like having a flag, maybe have a contest every now and again and the winner gets some IG cash or something nifty.
