Haha. Velyni can answer for himself, but as one of the facilitators of TFP I can confirm that he wasn’t a member of NPO in this game. Has no allegiance whatsoever to the NPO we knew here. And he had no part in anything that happened here in P&W. They were all long gone for over a year when his nation was founded. We vetted him thoroughly I assure you He was in NPO in some other game and wasn’t aware of their history here when he joined us all in the Orb. You’re barking up the wrong tree on this one.

Well, ya know. It’s TKR’s way. Anyone who isn’t part of their false narrative machine knows they have a long, long history of dog piles, paranoia, hegemonic ties, and igniting trillion dollar globals. They’ve started the last 3 major conflicts in the game. Started Dial Up too. I’d rather risk going down swinging vs waiting for Hollywood Money to come after us once everyone else is already wiped out. Rose as an entity had nothing to do with our decision. These people are all smart enough to know that unless they live in a hole.

We will fight on our terms, not after the rest of the game is already throttled. Hedge took out Delta. TKR just took out Swamp. Rose didn’t need to ask us in this situation. A raiding micro has a high chance of success. An unchained econ micro? Not so much. This is a game governed by 3 simple rules. Peace through strength. Peace through numbers. Peace through coordination that brings game cred. Other than that, a nation or micro alliance is raider bait. Like it or not, Raiders perform a valuable service. They free up otherwise dormant resources and help keep prices down for everyone else.

Well, at least the rest of the game can now see the internal volatility and recklessness we grew tired of reigning back before we finally left that bloc.

Honest question, why are so many proposals to this game always designed to make it easier for raiders and those who’ve essentially lost a war to rip down the victorious side’s infra? This proposal honestly doesn’t make any sense to me whatsoever. This is why I sent you that PM the other day. Our stat system in this game is completely flawed. It counts high dollar infra and makes that a god stat, but takes no account whatsoever for the econ damage and daily revenue that is lost by both sides. It doesn’t factor in decom costs for bankrupt military strategy either. So....let’s make iron dome as worthless as vital defense so the winning side can take even more damage? Mind boggling. Smh.

Yea. They’ve known for probably 1-2 weeks now too. Not sure what the purpose of this post is in all honesty We wish Swamp nothing but the best going forward. There are tons of great people in there. I’ve been honored to work with them throughout the year.

Bless me Father for I have sinned. I have never confessed in the land of Orbis before. In fact, I have rarely even been on the forums at all! Father, I have mistakenly led a new player astray. He was a C11 or 12. He had fought in 2 brutal nation skirmishes in his illustrious Orbis career. He asked me why a global war had broken out in the game and why I had also removed him from our unplanned wartime alliance. In my attempt to explain the defensive position we found ourselves in, and while discussing the history of Orbis in 2019 and 2020 (dog years, not Orbis years...wait...never mind), I had inadvertently mistyped that our foe had 2000 nations instead of 1000. Now to be clear, this was not a war of my making. Nor was it a war that I would have supported starting in the first place, for I knew that Trillions of dollars in damage to the land of Orbis would follow. My sin of phat thumbs with lax proofreading while I had other conversations going cannot be overlooked. Because I know that if I had correctly said 1000 nations instead of 2000, my actions on day 11 of this war would have retroactively prevented all of this, like, you know, a Star Trek temporal causality loop in reverse. ...but in looking back to the exact conversation where it was said? There it was....in digital black and white...2000. I believe a flogging from Sister Middle Mary Linebacker is an appropriate punishment Father. Please forgive me. I WILL proofread my private messages more thoroughly before hitting send going forward. I hope you can also find it in your heart to forgive me @Prefonteen I kneel with hat in hand. This whole war is actually my fault. 🤨

Well, @Changeup just came out of a global. I’m sure CotL’s warchests must have all been exhausted down to nothing. Panth on the other hand has fresh legs. A Nova style resource glitch may be the only thing that can save CotL here.

This is a great idea and one that’s needed. It would allow the more developed blocs to increase their revenue while providing the micros some safe harbor to develop blocs of their own.
